Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 626: Rovak Became A Customer
A few days passed after Rachel and Giselle awakened.
During those days, God Gym’s temporary base slowly became less like a random shelter on a death planet and more like an actual training facility.
Garion marked out training zones.
Dahlia smashed apart several hills to make space.
Rachel created a resting area filled with warm pink-gold energy so future trainees wouldn’t immediately collapse from the planet’s atmosphere.
As for Giselle, she walked around like a tiny supervisor, pointing at things with both hands behind her back.
"This place needs a sign," she said seriously.
Garion nodded. "Good idea."
"And a chair for me."
Garion blinked. "For what?"
Giselle lifted her chin. "For supervising."
Dahlia laughed so hard she almost fell over.
Then, on the fifth day, Garion suddenly stopped.
His eyes shifted toward the sky.
Rachel noticed it immediately. "What is it?"
Garion narrowed his eyes. "Something is coming."
Dahlia’s grin appeared instantly. "Enemy?"
Garion stared for a moment longer before shaking his head. "No. A small spaceship."
Not long after, a small vessel broke through the storm clouds above the planet.
It shook violently as it descended, clearly struggling against the brutal wind, but it still managed to land not far from God Gym’s base.
The hatch opened.
A familiar loud laugh came out before the person even stepped down. "Hahahaha! This place really is crazy!"
Garion’s eyes widened slightly.
Dahlia blinked.
Then Rovak walked out of the spaceship with a huge grin on his face.
Garion stared at him. "Rovak?"
Rovak raised one hand. "Yo!"
Garion’s surprise quickly turned into amusement. "You actually came?"
Rovak laughed loudly. "Of course I came!"
He stepped down from the ship and looked around at the wild storms, dangerous mountains, and distant beast roars.
Instead of being scared, his eyes shone brighter. "This is perfect! A gym should be tough!"
Garion grinned. "Now that’s the right attitude."
Dahlia crossed her arms. "Long time no see, big idiot."
Rovak turned toward her and laughed. "Long time no see, little dragon!"
Dahlia clicked her tongue. "Still calling me that?"
"Of course." Rovak grinned wider. "You beat me. That means I have to train until I can punch you properly next time."
Garion looked behind him. "What about Slifera and Elisa?"
Rovak waved his hand casually. "They have their own jobs. Slifera has Silverian matters to deal with, and Elisa said she still needs to report something."
Then he pointed proudly at himself. "Also, they’re not like me. Strong physical body, strong muscles, strong recovery. A gym should be about physical strength, right?"
Garion nodded solemnly. "Of course."
Rovak laughed. "See? I knew I came to the right place!"
Then his gaze shifted.
He finally noticed Rachel standing beside Garion and Giselle standing nearby with her hands on her waist.
Rovak blinked. "Wait. New people?"
Garion smiled. "This is my wife, Rachel."
Rachel nodded gently. "Nice to meet you."
Garion then placed a hand on Giselle’s head. "And this is my daughter, Giselle."
Rovak’s eyes widened. "Your wife and daughter?"
He looked genuinely shocked. "I remember only you and Dahlia were here."
Garion grinned. "I suddenly met them again a few days ago."
Rovak stared at him.
Garion looked toward the vast stormy sky and smiled faintly. "It seems I’m quite lucky these days. Meeting my family again in this vast space."
Rovak was silent for a moment.
Then he grinned, softer than usual. "Yeah."
He nodded firmly. "Really lucky."
---
Garion looked at Rovak for a moment, then grinned. "So, Rovak."
Rovak turned toward him. "Yeah?"
Garion shoved both hands into his pockets. "Are you here as a guest, or are you here for training?"
Rovak’s grin widened immediately. "Of course I’m here for training!"
Dahlia laughed from the side. "I knew it."
Rovak cracked his knuckles loudly, his dark-red aura flickering around his body. "After watching little dragon get stronger under you, I wanted to see just how good God Gym really is."
Garion’s grin became sharper. "I see."
Then he raised one hand. "Have you got the money?"
Rovak froze for half a second.
Rachel blinked.
Dahlia burst out laughing.
Giselle nodded seriously. "Father is correct. Training is not free."
Rovak looked at the tiny pink-haired girl, then laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Of course!"
He slapped his chest proudly. "I came prepared. I brought resources, cosmic crystals, beast cores, and some our race special materials."
Garion’s eyes lit up. "Oh?"
Rovak grinned. "Enough to pay properly."
Garion nodded with satisfaction. "Good. Then you’re officially a customer."
Rovak’s smile became wild. "Then when do we start?"
Garion tilted his head slightly. "Now."
Rovak blinked. "Now?"
Garion stepped forward slowly. "Before I make a training plan, I need to see your strength firsthand."
Dahlia’s grin widened. "Ohhh..."
Rachel quietly moved Giselle a little farther away.
Giselle’s eyes sparkled. "Is Father going to bully the customer?"
Rachel smiled gently. "It’s called assessment."
Atlas appeared beside her shoulder and crossed his arms.
[In Garion’s case, both are usually the same thing.]
Rovak laughed and walked toward the open ground. "Good! I also wanted to see how strong you are!"
His dark-red aura exploded outward.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The ground cracked beneath his feet as his muscles tightened. "Come on, Garion!"
Garion stood casually across from him, one hand still in his pocket.
Rovak’s grin became savage. "Don’t blame me if I hit too hard!"
Garion smiled. "Sure."
The next instant, Rovak charged.
BOOM!
His body shot forward like a dark-red meteor, fist tearing through the air.
[Drakhor Fang Rush]
Dahlia watched with interest. "Not bad."
But Garion only raised one finger.
The air suddenly changed.
Rovak’s body froze mid-charge.
His eyes widened. "Huh?"
BOOOOOOM!!!
An invisible force slammed down on him.
Rovak crashed into the ground face-first, creating a large crater beneath his body.
The dark-red aura around him flickered wildly as he tried to push himself up. "What... the hell...?"
Garion walked over casually. "Gravity."
Rovak gritted his teeth and forced one arm against the ground.
CRACK!
The ground split, but his body barely moved.
Garion looked down at him and nodded. "Strong body. Good endurance. Good willpower."
Rovak’s face twitched. "Are you... testing me... or burying me?"
Garion smiled brightly. "Both."
Dahlia laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Welcome to God Gym!"
Rovak tried to lift his head, but Garion lightly increased the pressure.
BOOM!
Rovak sank a little deeper into the crater.
Garion crouched beside him and grinned. "Assessment complete."
Rovak slowly turned his eyes toward him.
Garion’s smile widened. "You’re trainable."
Rovak stared at him for a second.
Then, despite being pinned to the ground, he started laughing. "Hahahaha! Good!" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
His eyes burned with excitement. "This is exactly what I came for!"
