Chapter 728: Chapter 728 Consequences

Leo’s jaw tightened further. His gray eyes darkened, the warmth draining away, replaced by something cold and dangerous.

His voice was low, barely above a whisper. "Keep going. See what happens."

Bella’s heart raced. She should stop. She knew she should stop. But his expression, the barely contained fire in his eyes, made her want to push further.

Her voice was light and teasing. "He also has a very nice smile. And he’s very kind. And he—"

Leo pulled her off his lap and bent her over the arm of the couch.

Bella gasped. "Leo!"

He lifted her skirt again, his hand firm on her lower back. The rabbit ears flopped forward, dangling in front of her face.

His voice was low and controlled. "You were saying?"

Bella’s voice was high and panicked. "Nothing!"

Leo’s fingers pressed into her hip. "About Karl’s eyes?"

Her words tumbled out. "His eyes are nice!"

Leo’s hand hovered. "And his arms?"

Bella squeezed her eyes shut. "Normal arms!"

His voice was silky. "His hair?"

Her voice cracked. "I lied! I never touched it!"

He spanked her lightly as a warning.

Bella’s voice was desperate. "I’m sorry!"

Leo’s hand rested on her skin. "Are you?"

She nodded frantically. "Yes!"

His thumb traced a circle. "Who do you belong to?"

Her voice was muffled against the couch. "You!"

Leo’s voice was quiet and firm. "Who’s the only man you want?"

Bella turned her head, her brown eyes meeting his gray ones. "You, Leo! Only you!"

He stilled.

His hand rested on her bare skin, warm and heavy. He smoothed down her skirt, then pulled her upright, turning her to face him. Her cheeks were flushed. Her eyes were wet.

Her voice was breathless, a mix of frustration and affection. "You’re so bad. Bad wolf."

Leo’s lips twitched. "You started it."

Bella pointed a finger at his chest. "You teased me."

Leo caught her finger, then her whole fist. "You spanked me!"

He kissed her knuckles. "Three times lightly."

Bella pulled her hand back and punched his chest weakly. Leo caught her wrist and held it against his heart.

His voice was quiet, serious now. "Don’t talk about other men. I don’t like it."

Bella cupped his face in her hands, her brown eyes soft and sincere. Her thumbs brushed his cheekbones. "I know. I’m just kidding. I’m teasing you. You know that, right?"

Leo’s jaw was still tight, his gray eyes still dark, but he didn’t interrupt.

She leaned closer, her lips brushing his. Her voice was barely a whisper. "You’re so great. You’re so handsome. You’re so good at everything. No other guy can catch my attention like you do."

She kissed him gently.

Leo’s hands, which had been tense on her waist, relaxed. His eyes fluttered closed for a moment, and when he opened them, the darkness had faded. Joy flickered there, bright, warm, almost boyish.

He asked, "Really?"

Bella stroked his cheek with her thumb. "Of course. In my eyes, you’re the best. There’s no one else. There never has been."

And finally, he picked her up.

Bella gasped as his arms locked around her, lifting her off the couch as if she weighed nothing. The rabbit ears bounced. Her legs wrapped around his waist instinctively, her fingers gripping his shoulders. He carried her across the room, his steps slow and deliberate, his gray eyes never leaving her face. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

He threw her onto the bed.

She bounced once, the mattress soft beneath her, the rabbit ears flopping sideways. Her hair spread across the pillow. Her skirt rode up her thighs. Her heart pounded so loud she was sure he could hear it.

Leo climbed on top of her.

His knees settled on either side of her hips, caging her in. His hands braced on either side of her head. His weight pressed her into the mattress.

He unbuttoned his shirt slowly.

His fingers worked each button with deliberate care, his gray eyes fixed on her face. The fabric parted, revealing his broad, muscled, honey colored chest. The bandages from his injuries were gone now, replaced by healing skin and fading bruises. His abs tightened as he shrugged the shirt off his shoulders and let it fall to the floor.

Bella’s breath caught.

He looked like a god. A dark, dangerous, devastating god.

Leo smirked.

"Joking with me, Bunny," he said, his voice low and rough. "Now you have to face the consequences of offending me with your words."

He leaned down, his face inches from hers.

"What did you say about Karl?" His lips brushed her ear. "That he has nice arms?"

He sat back, took her hands, and placed them on his biceps.

His muscles flexed beneath her palms, hard, warm, powerful. Bella’s fingers trembled as she felt the strength in him, the coiled power just beneath his skin.

"Feel that?" he asked.

She nodded, unable to speak.

"Is that nice?"

She nodded again.

He released her hands and sat up, reaching for his belt.

"And he’s so strong?" Leo’s voice was dark, teasing, dangerous. His eyes never left hers as he unbuckled his belt, the metal clinking softly in the quiet room. He pulled the leather free and tossed it aside.

Bella’s mouth went dry.

He lowered his trousers, then his briefs, his eyes still locked on hers. His hardness sprang free, thick and ready, and Bella’s breath hitched. Her gaze dropped, then snapped back up to his face.

Leo smiled knowingly.

"See something you like?"

She couldn’t answer.

He reached down and hooked his fingers into the delicate lace of her panties. The fabric was soft, white, barely there, a matching set to the rabbit cosplay. He met her eyes.

"These are cute," he said.

Then he ripped them off.

The lace tore with a sharp sound, leaving her bare beneath him. Bella gasped, her hands flying to cover herself, but he caught her wrists and pinned them above her head.

He reached behind her and pulled the fluffy rabbit tail. It came away easily, attached by a small clip, and he tossed it aside.

Without the tail, without the panties, she felt exposed. Vulnerable. Completely at his mercy.

Leo leaned down and kissed her deeply. His tongue slid against hers, tasting her, claiming her. His body pressed her into the mattress, his hardness against her thigh, his chest against her breasts. She could feel every inch of him, the heat of his skin, the weight of his muscles, the steady thrum of his heartbeat.

When he pulled back, her lips were swollen, her eyes half closed.

"Now," he said, his voice thick, "where were we?"
