Su Ze latched onto the keywords... The Oasis Mother Tree and her companions had experienced a brutal battle before arriving on Blue Star. Furthermore, her master hadn’t truly died, but had merely entered a state of suspended animation.

All this time, Su Ze had thought the Oasis Mother Tree’s master was already dead.

The Oasis Mother Tree didn’t hide anything. "We were attacked while traveling through the universe," she said. "All the Divine-level Spiritual Plants on the ship died in battle. My master was severely injured but managed to escape the encirclement. By a stroke of luck, he ended up on Blue Star. He was overjoyed when he discovered it was a life-bearing planet, thinking he could be healed. But he never expected... that this planet’s evolutionary level would be even lower than he imagined."

As she spoke, Su Ze suddenly saw the lush green turf in the garden-like space before him part, revealing a humanoid creature below.

Su Ze could tell it was an old male. He bore some resemblance to a human, but his skin was a dark cyan, and two antennae protruded from the top of his head. His skin also looked far rougher than a human’s, and he had a pair of shiny black hooves instead of human feet.

He lay silently underground, not breathing and showing no signs of life, like a corpse. However, his body showed no trace of decay.

Grassy vines were wrapped all around his body, piercing into his nose and chest, seemingly transferring nutrients to sustain his life.

Su Ze could easily guess that this must be the Oasis Mother Tree’s master.

’It really is an old man. It seems the legends were mostly true...’ Su Ze couldn’t help but recall the legend of the Oasis’s origin.

The Oasis Mother Tree said, "Right now, I can only barely sustain my master’s life, and I don’t know how much longer I can keep it up. To save him, I must take him back to the homeworld of the Tree Spirit Race, or to another planet that specializes in healing."

"Although I don’t know Blue Star’s exact location in the universe, based on its evolutionary level, it’s not hard to guess that it must be in a remote corner of the cosmos. Finding a planetary civilization nearby that can heal my master is almost impossible. Therefore, this will inevitably be a long journey."

’So you want to find a human from Blue Star who has the potential to become a god, invest in them while they’re still weak to build a relationship, and then have them help you save your master after they become a god...’ Su Ze understood the Oasis Mother Tree’s intentions.

A beam of green light shot down from the emerald, striking the Bloodline Crystal with precision.

In the next instant, a bloodcurdling scream suddenly erupted from the Bloodline Crystal. It wasn’t a real scream, but an echo that reverberated in everyone’s minds.

An entity invisible to Su Ze was enveloped in the green light and forcibly ripped out of the Bloodline Crystal.

All Su Ze could see was an irregularly shaped void within the green light, like a transparent maggot writhing and struggling inside it.

The green light shifted slightly, covering and enveloping the nearby piece of jade. The invisible thing inside the light took the opportunity to burrow into the jade.

Finally, the Oasis Mother Tree retracted the green light. On the ground remained a Bloodline Crystal and a piece of jade.

The difference was that there was now something extra inside the jade.

Su Ze moved closer. Not daring to make any contact with the jade, he only looked with his eyes and discovered a faint purple shadow within it.

This shadow vaguely matched his impression of the purple-skinned people.
