I Can Give Talents
Chapter 508 - Welcome Back Feast
Afterward, everyone gathered in the main hall. Seeing them all again, Leyvi felt a quiet sense of happiness settle within him.
Dorin Homun soon came out of her alchemy session and greeted them. Even after all these years, she still spoke with an arrogant tone, but everyone had long grown accustomed to it. Nowadays, only her words sounded arrogant, her actions no longer reflected it. In Anda’s absence, she had become one of the most sought-after individuals in Bara City as an Alchemy Master.
Fantylia was also present in the main hall.
She had once been a wandering Nascent Soul who attempted to possess Dorin Homun, only to fail miserably due to Leyvi’s intervention. Now, she was bound to a puppet body and forced to serve the Leyan Family as a puppet maid. Over the years, Sawi had refined her appearance, shaping her into the fox lady form that Anda had once envisioned.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bison remained outside, happily grazing on the lush grass around the Leyan Family estate. After letting the ladies hug him, Stripey slipped away as he always did, disappearing without a trace. As for Scarlet, she had already reunited with her daughters and was now spending time with them in the backyard garden.
Back in the main hall, Leyvi began introducing the newcomers, Bodo, Cempaka, Senior Lapin, Miss Misty, and the seven pandas.
At the sight of the pandas, the ladies instantly let out excited cries and rushed forward, completely unable to resist their charm. The poor creatures were immediately surrounded and hugged from all sides. After finally escaping the overwhelming affection, the seven pandas quickly scattered, exploring and playing around the estate as if they owned the place.
When the members of the Leyan Family learned about Senior Lapin and Miss Misty, they were utterly shocked.
How did an expedition meant for gathering cultivation resources and treasures end with Leyvi taming a King Level Demonic Beast... and Lilian taming an Elder Stage Demonic Plant?
Not to mention, this was the first time they had ever heard of a King Level Demonic Beast. Until now, they had always believed that General Level Demonic Beasts were the strongest.
Once the initial awe subsided, realization slowly set in.
If a King Level Demonic Beast was equivalent to a Soul Transformation Realm cultivator, the same level as the Cloud Continent Protectors... then didn’t that mean the Leyan Family had suddenly become one of the strongest forces on the entire continent?
The thought alone was enough to make their heads spin.
However, Leyvi quickly tempered their excitement. He made it clear that Senior Lapin would only protect the family from the shadows. His existence was not to be revealed to the public.
When Cempaka was introduced, the atmosphere softened. The family couldn’t help but feel sympathy for her. The idea of being unable to feel emotions was something none of them would ever wish to experience.
As for Bodo, his introduction sparked a different kind of curiosity.
They couldn’t help but wonder how he had grown to such an enormous size. Was he born that way? Was it the result of body cultivation? Or was there some other reason entirely?
The mansion’s main entrance was large enough for Bodo to enter and move around the main hall, but his massive frame made it impossible for him to access many other areas. This meant that most places in the city would likely be unable to accommodate him as well.
Clearly, a new residence suited to his size would have to be built.
After discussing arrangements for Bodo’s future home, Leyvi brought up something else that had caught his attention earlier, a newly constructed mansion within their estate.
For some reason, its design stood out completely from the rest of the city. Its aesthetic felt unfamiliar, yet oddly reminiscent of something he had seen long ago.
"Why is there a mansion made of corals in our family estate? Sawi, is that one of your new projects or something?" Leyvi asked curiously.
Since the coral bloodline gem had been given to Sawi, it was only natural for him to assume it was her work.
Sawi shook her head. Her narrow eyes remained her most striking feature, especially since she still preferred wearing loose, baggy clothing that concealed her curvy figure.
"That’s not me. It was actually the original owner of this gem herself who chose that spot and erected her mansion, with Sister Layla’s approval, of course." Sawi explained.
Leyvi, Anda, and the others who had just returned exchanged confused looks.
The original owner of that gem?
"But that gem is a gift a demonic coral polyp gave to me. That demonic coral polyp is the original owner. It’s been living in Reefworld Lagoon for thousands of years already." Leyvi said.
"Yes. That’s her. She can now turn into a woman. She told us that she is interested in husband, so she left her place and came here. Eventually, she decided to stay and built her coral mansion. Also, she came with Cora, the nice guy we met at Reefworld Lagoon before. Apparently, he became her devout follower." Sawi explained.
Leyvi was completely dumbfounded. That demonic coral polyp... was interested in him? What kind of situation was this? Could demonic beasts actually fall in love with humans?
A strange thought surfaced in his mind... if a demonic beast could take human form, could they have offspring with actual humans?
"Since she can turn into a human, then is she a King Level Demonic Beast?" Anda asked.
"No. Coryl is a General Level Demonic Beast, but her bloodline power allows her to take the appearance of those she has absorbed." Layla explained.
As the City Lord, Layla had thoroughly investigated everything about Coryl before allowing her to enter the city and settle there. Naturally, she wouldn’t have been able to uncover Coryl’s true identity if Coryl hadn’t revealed it herself. Layla then verified her history at Reefworld Lagoon and traced the path she had taken to arrive here. After confirming that she had never harmed any innocents, she granted her permission to stay.
"Kekeke. That is definitely a convenient ability to have earlier. After all, we can only transform into humans at King Level. This requires a very, very long time." Lapin chimed in.
"Hehe. If she’s interested in Leyvi, I wouldn’t mind giving her a chance. Instead of a fox lady or a giant lady, we might have a coral lady as our sister first." Anda said with a mischievous smile.
Leyvi rolled his eyes. He knew Anda would not let go of this chance.
"So, where is she right now? I don’t see anyone in that coral mansion." Leyvi asked.
With Lapin around, he wasn’t too concerned, even if the coral lady harbored some kind of ulterior motive.
Layla smiled. "She has also become addicted to Tasya’s food. So she’s accompanying her on the tour as well. With her around, Tasya and Tal’s safety are guaranteed. Maybe she’s more interested in Tasya’s cooking than in husband now."
"Is that so? Hahaha! That’s even better! I’ve already had enough ladies to deal with. I don’t need more right now," Leyvi said, clearly preferring this outcome.
"Darling, did you meet more ladies during your expedition? Come on, tell us. We want to know about our new sisters." Nala immediately picked up on the implication in his words.
Leyvi froze.
How did she catch that so quickly?
"Is that true, husband? We want to know about our new sisters too. Tell us. We all want to know. Right, ladies?" Selene added, her eyes sparkling with interest.
The other women nodded eagerly, their expressions filled with anticipation.
Leyvi could not help but sigh inwardly. Anda had not been around for many years, but it seemed her pandawashing effect had not diminished at all. If anything, it seemed even stronger now.
Instead of asking about the dangers he faced or the journey he went through, they were far more interested in potential new additions to the family. He had countless stories to share... yet this was what captured their attention the most.
No normal ladies should want to know about other women their husband was seeing and be happy and excited about it. His wives were probably the only anomalous group of women because of Anda.
"Fine, fine. I’ll tell you. But we will be talking about the entire journey. Anda, Val, Lilian, Ava, all of you will tell your stories too. But before that, my lovely maids, please prepare food for everyone first. We will be having a welcome back feast!" Leyvi said excitedly.
"Yes, husband!" The four maids immediately set off to prepare a wide variety of dishes.
That evening, the Leyan Family gathered for a grand feast, sharing laughter and stories as they recounted the unexpected life-and-death adventures Leyvi and the others had experienced.
