’She knows about my soul status, too? She kept calling me master. Everything about her keeps getting stranger and stranger. First that person from my dream, and now her...’

Leon let out a slow sigh and looked toward Sol. "I don’t know either."

"You don’t?" Sol narrowed his eyes slightly, as if trying to figure out whether Leon was genuinely clueless or simply hiding something.

Leon shook his head calmly.

"Well, if you say so." Sol shrugged. "It’s not like I can keep pestering the person who saved my life."

Somehow, Sol had become unusually open around Leon. The way he talked, joked, and casually asked questions felt less like two strangers and more like old friends reminiscing together.

Just then...

Knock! Knock!

Sol glanced toward the door and immediately stood up. "She’s here."

Leon frowned slightly. "Who?"

"My sister. She wants to talk to you." Sol turned toward the entrance. "You can come in, sis."

The door slowly opened, and Emily stepped inside.

Leon looked toward the door. The moment he saw her, Leon’s heart skipped a bit.

Emily wasn’t wearing her combat attire this time. Instead, she wore a soft, elegant dress that enhanced her beauty and graceful demeanor even more. Her long brunette hair fell smoothly over her shoulders like flowing silk, framing her delicate face perfectly. Her deep blue eyes looked calmer than usual.

The warm light of the room reflected gently against her fair skin, making her look almost unreal for a moment. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"How are you feeling?" Emily asked as she walked toward them and sat down gracefully in the chair.

For a moment, Leon forgot to respond. His eyes remained fixed on her. ’She’s breathtaking... but not in the dangerous way this time,’ Leon thought inwardly.

"Ahem. Ahem." Sol’s exaggerated cough immediately snapped Leon back to reality.

Leon cleared his throat awkwardly. "I’m feeling fine. But... where exactly am I right now?"

"At our home, of course," Sol replied casually.

Leon blinked. "You mean... in Daselvia?"

Emily nodded softly.

"What about the others?"

"Your friend Noah. That girl from his group, I can’t quite remember her name and the two knights who were trapped inside the tower. They all escaped the hidden realm with us." This time, Emily answered first.

"Are they here too?" Leon asked.

Emily shook her head. "No. All of us were transported back to the places from where we were originally dragged into the gate."

Leon frowned slightly. "Then how did I end up here?"

Sol scratched the back of his head. "Well... I was carrying you at the time. That’s probably why."

"I see." Leon slowly touched his face. "Wait... what about the mask?"

"Oh, that?" Sol suddenly looked excited. "I removed it to check whether you had any injuries. But bro, I was seriously shocked. The moment I took off the mask, your entire outfit changed too. Where do people even buy cool stuff like that?" His eyes sparkled with curiosity.

Leon hesitated for a second. "I just got lucky and received a—"

"A gift?" Emily finished the sentence for him with a soft chuckle.

Her laughter was light and pleasant, echoing gently through the room like the cheerful chirping of a bird.

Both Leon and Sol froze. Though, for completely different reasons.

’No. I need to leave this place as soon as possible... or I might actually fall for her. Why is her smile so cute?’ Leon thought inwardly.

Meanwhile, Sol was having an entirely different crisis. ’Did she just laugh? Sis can actually laugh like that? Then why is this the first time I’m seeing it?’

Leon looked away awkwardly, clearly a little flustered. "Yeah... something like that."

"Alright. Whatever you say." Emily nodded calmly, though the faint smile on her lips still remained.

Sol’s gaze moved back and forth between the two of them several times.

Then Leon suddenly remembered something important. "I need to return to my country as soon as possible. Can you help me arrange that?"

"Of course," Emily replied immediately.

Leon hesitated for a moment before continuing. "But... I don’t really have anything with me right now. No passport or identification documents and..." He stopped midway, wondering whether he should continue.

"And?" Emily tilted her head slightly.

Leon scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "I’m also broke at the moment."

’Not just at the moment. Completely broke,’ Leon corrected inwardly with a bitter smile.

’I need to earn money as quickly as possible and repay them later. But first, I need to go back. I’ve been away for too long already. Jenny is probably worrying herself to death. My finals are coming up too...’ His eyes narrowed slightly. ’And more importantly... now that I have power, I need to officially register as a hunter.’ His fist unconsciously tightened.

"You don’t need to worry about any of that," Sol said casually. "We have our own private jet."

Leon blinked. "Private jet?" Then he quickly calmed down again. ’Well... why am I even surprised? This is the Fleming family after all.’

Leon let out a slow breath. "Then I’ll definitely owe you one."

"Nope." Sol immediately shook his head. "If anything, we’re the ones indebted to you. Honestly, even this isn’t enough repayment. So stop worrying about it, focus on recovering first, and leave whenever you feel ready."

Leon stayed silent for a moment before speaking again. "There’s one more thing I want to ask."

Both Emily and Sol looked at him attentively.

"Can you keep everything that happened inside the hidden realm a secret? Especially about my sword."

Emily frowned slightly. "Why?"

Leon exhaled slowly. "Because right now, I’m basically only a D-Class knight. Or equivalent to one. If news about that sword spreads, people will start targeting me."

His expression turned serious. "I’m not strong enough yet to protect it... or myself from the kind of trouble it could bring."

Emily and Sol exchanged a glance. Then Emily nodded without hesitation. "That won’t be a problem."

Leon looked genuinely surprised. ’They agreed that easily?’

"I wish I could ask the others to stay quiet, too," Leon muttered. "Those two knights from the tower don’t know much about me. But Noah and that girl from his group might accidentally reveal something."

"You don’t need to worry about that either," Emily said with a faint smile.

Leon looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Sol suddenly let out a dry laugh. "Buddy... let’s just say your serpent friend was very convincing."

"But..." Emily suddenly started again. "You are clearly not just a D-Class knight, are you?"

Emily finally asked what she had been waiting for desperately.
