I Have A Dual World Seal
Chapter 889: Biker Gang
Aquarium, museum, cathedral, Hyde Park, opera house...
The group spent an entire day touring the city, allowing Si Lingxi and the other two girls to experience foreign cultures. To their surprise, it was quite interesting.
Though these girls had traveled from ancient times to the modern era, given that the ancient Otherworld is very similar to ancient Hua Country—with similar races and writing systems—Si Lingxi and the other girls quickly adapted to the environment of Hai City. They even managed to learn simplified Chinese characters in just half a day.
However, learning English was tougher. They dedicated three whole days to learning English to reach a conversational level for this trip.
...
"Struggling students, raging!"
...
"No need to visit Sydney's Taronga Zoo; tomorrow we will head to Brisbane, where we can feed kangaroos and take pictures holding koalas," Lu Zheng had already figured out a detailed itinerary. "Then we'll spend two days on Moreton Island... well, although it's quite similar to the scenery of the East Sea, there are many modern services there worth experiencing."
Si Lingxi smiled and said, "I watched some videos online; the scenery is indeed impressive, no less beautiful than many of the sights in the East Sea."
Shen Ying nodded repeatedly, slightly hopeful, "Besides, aren't there many historic shipwrecks around there? We might be able to discover some sunken treasures?"
Lu Zheng couldn't help but pat Shen Ying's head, "You're overthinking it. This isn't on any gold trade routes, and Australia doesn't produce gold. Historically, it was a place where Yin Country exiled prisoners, so there are no treasures in these nearby shipwrecks."
Shen Ying was speechless, "The internet lied to me..."
The girls laughed upon hearing this, and then they saw several couples hurrying past them into a nearby mall.
"What is this place?" Shen Ying asked.
"Starport Entertainment City. Inside, there are hotels, theaters, shopping malls, cinemas, nightclubs, and casinos," Lin Wan said. "I came here once on a business trip; it's full of indulgences. Rumor has it the owner is a prominent figure in the Australian mafia." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
"Not interested."
The three women shook their heads simultaneously, unaffected by such temptations.
"Ladies, we meet again!"
A frivolous voice called out, and a tall figure appeared in front of them. It was the same tall young man who wanted to recommend a seaside private villa to them when they left the airport the day before.
"Do you want to go to the casino or the nightclub?" the young man asked enthusiastically. "Care to join? We can go play at the casino first. I know the nightclub manager, and drinks can be discounted."
He paused, raising an eyebrow at Lu Zheng, "The ladies' entry is completely free, and you can join us too, my friend!"
Lu Zheng's group had already noticed this young man, but no one paid him any attention. Unexpectedly, he saw them and even "enthusiastically" stopped them in their tracks.
"No need, not interested," Lu Zheng shook his head. He genuinely didn't want any trouble; he just wanted to enjoy a vacation.
"You're from Hua Country, aren't you?" the young man asked, then confidently said, "Yes, you were speaking Hua language earlier. I have several Hua friends. They were model students in Hua Country, but only learned to truly live after coming to Australia!"
Lu Zheng shrugged, "True living means going to casinos and nightclubs?"
"Of course! Life needs to be exciting!" the young man said confidently, shaking his body as if dancing to music. "It would be such a waste not to have these pretty ladies dance at the nightclub. Let me take you to meet..."
Before the young man could finish, he saw Lu Zheng leading the four women past him, continuing on their way.
The young man flashed a look of anger, turned to chase after them, but stopped when he saw Lu Zheng turn back and stand in front of him.
"Hello." Lu Zheng nodded lightly.
"You... hello?" the young man instinctively responded.
Then he saw Lu Zheng looking him in the eye, speaking calmly, "I don't know what you're after, but let me warn you, don't mess with us. You can't handle the consequences.
We're not interested in those places, or in you. We want nothing to do with your affairs, and ask that you stop bothering us, ok?"
The young man couldn't help but chuckle, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender, "Ok, ok, I just wanted to make friends with you."
"We don't want to be your friends," Lu Zheng replied lightly, then turned and left.
...
"He's on the phone."
"He's also waving to the street."
"Lu Lang, you didn't scare him off."
Speaking of which, besides Lin Wan often revealing her police identity, Liu Qingyan, Shen Ying, and even the frequently traveling Si Lingxi have encountered people eyeing their beauty. Such situations aren't new to them.
Even Lin Wan has come across people in Italy like Tony and in Yin Country like Robert, who ignored her police status—though they eventually all ended up with their ashes scattered by Lu Zheng.
So...
Trying to charm all four women at once...
Even Lu Zheng had to admit, this young Australian was quite bold.
"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
"Vroom—"
Seven or eight motorcycles sped over from the other side of the street, arriving beside Lu Zheng's group just as they reached the entrance of a small alley.
Then, five or six young men got off the back seats, revealing muscles and tattoos, wielding baseball bats and machetes, shouting to scare Lu Zheng's group, trying to force them into the alley.
It was nearing eleven in the evening, and aside from places like the entertainment city, other stores were closed. There were no residential areas in the city center, so the alleys were deserted.
The guests on the street where the entertainment city was located also avoided the motorcycle gang. Some seemed to want to call the police, but were pulled away by companions, leaving quickly.
Lu Zheng stood in front of the four women, leading them slowly back into the alley.
Outside, the seven or eight motorcycles and the five or six young men who disembarked were advancing cautiously.
Then, they parted ways, revealing the young man who intercepted them earlier, smiling slightly at Lu Zheng.
Beside him, a burly man looking at the four women with bright eyes couldn't help but whisper to the young man, "These chicks are really pretty. Are we keeping them or sending them up?"
"Of course, we're sending them up. They're so pretty, we could at least get ten grand each!"
The young man replied, then stepped in front of Lu Zheng, shrugging his shoulders, "I reconsidered your words and decided I could handle the consequences."
"And then?" Lu Zheng replied calmly.
Seeing Lu Zheng's calm expression, and the four women behind him unscathed, the young man raised an eyebrow, finding them rather intriguing.
But he didn't care, assuming these were privileged kids from Hua Country, still inexperienced with the dangers outside their safe bubble.
Because truly influential people, wherever they go, travel by car.
"Then... I just wanted to invite you to the nightclub, to introduce you to a prominent figure," the young man said with a smile.
