I Have A Solo Mommy Plan, But Daddy Refuses to Let Go
Chapter 276: You Finally Figured It Out
"Sienna Quinn, what exactly are you trying to do?" šš»šš®ššššš¤š«š®š.š¬šš¢
"President Lawson, what I do doesnāt seem to concern you, does it?" Sienna Quinn laughed coldly. Even if she really wanted to do something, would she have to tell him? Could he possibly help her? Landon Lawson was really a bit funny.
After saying this, Sienna was about to leave. No matter what, she wouldnāt tell Landon Lawson about this matter; he was not someone easy to deal with. Sienna didnāt expect Landon to help, as long as he didnāt intervene, it would be fine. But could Landon really stay out of it?
Sienna didnāt dare to guess, nor did she dare to gamble.
Landon Lawsonās power wasnāt something she could shake. With his capabilities, during this time, he had enough power to prevent Sienna from achieving anything.
"Why does it not concern me? Sienna, why do you always want to keep me at a distance? Do you find it amusing to always reject me? Why could he help you, but I canāt?" Landon couldnāt figure it out. Why wouldnāt Sienna trust him, believe that he could truly help her? She would rather trust Felix Orwell over himāwas this really what Sienna wanted to see?
This feeling of being distrusted suddenly made Landon feel somewhat weary.
Sienna furrowed her attractive brow. "I donāt want you to get involved in this matter, so donāt ask about it." Sienna pressed her lips together.
Landon squinted his eyes, feeling that this anger was extremely discomfiting.
Felix Orwell was allowed to help, so why couldnāt he? Did she really mistrust him so much? Would rather trust others than trust himāis this the trust Sienna had for him?
Felix Orwell stood to the side, observing the struggle in Siennaās eyes and Landonās persistence.
"If you want to ask something, just come and ask me."
Landon turned his gaze towards Felix, then looked at Sienna, who remained silent all along, and followed behind Felix as the two of them walked in a different direction.
Sienna stood in place, watching Landonās leaving figure, her lips pressed lightly into a slight smile, and with a hint of helplessness in her eyes, she spoke to Sean Carter beside her: "I have some things Iād like to confirm with you."
"Confirm with me?" Sean was momentarily stunned, unable to figure out what Sienna wanted to ask, nodding with half suspicion.
Landon and Felix found a secluded corner, watching Felix who halted his steps, with Landonās eyes half-closed.
Actually, Landon didnāt want to hear Felixās answer. But Felix knew far more than he did. In these past five years, he hadnāt been a part of Siennaās life at all, while during these five years, Felix had constantly been a part of Siennaās life. This thought always pained Landon.
Why hadnāt he gone to find her earlier? Wouldnāt it have spared her from facing things alone?
Felix turned his head to see the guilt in Landonās eyes, raising his eyebrows slightly: "Donāt get involved in this matter, Sienna is doing it for your own good."
Hearing Felixās voice, Landon looked up with an indifferent gaze at him.
Itās not about whether Sienna allows him to participate; Landon wants to get involved.
Five years of belated care, Landon couldnāt afford to delay any longer.
Seeing Landonās insistent demeanor, Felix knew that no matter how much he said now, Landon might not listen. He leaned both hands on the table, his mocking gaze sliding over Landonās face.
"You think youāre good for her, but the one who hurts her the most is you. With your behavior, do you think youāre fit to stand by her side? If you truly care for her, then stay at a distance. Your presence is the true root of her pain, Sienna."
The man was stunned for a moment, facing those mocking eyes, yet having no words to refute.
In the past life, it was because of his mistrust that Sienna met a tragic end, leading to this life of rebirth. Ultimately, it was all because of Landon Lawson.
He was the instigator, it was all Landon Lawson.
Landon tightly pressed his lips together, while Felix grew more excited as he spoke, "So, donāt ask anymore, and I hope you wonāt intervene no matter what happens."
After speaking, Felix turned and left. Some words Sienna couldnāt say, but he could.
Watching Felixās leaving figure, Landonās hand hanging by his side clenched tightly into a fist. If possible, how could he not intervene?
But... would his indifference truly be good for Sienna?
Meanwhile, Sienna was sitting face-to-face with Sean Carter, the woman hesitated several times to speak, making Sean feel uneasy about what Sienna wanted to talk about today. Thinking over and over, he couldnāt imagine.
"Donāt sigh like that, making me all nervous. Is there really something wrong with the company?" Sean said helplessly.
Sienna looked up at the man before her, her mouth opened and closed, "I want to ask you something, and I hope you can tell me the truth."
"Why so serious, when did you become so formal with me?" Sean laughed out loud, Sienna was indeed somewhat adorable today.
Looking at Seanās puzzled expression, Sienna hesitated for a moment before finally speaking: "Felix Orwell... does he have someone he likes?"
"Hmm?"
Sean was taken aback for a moment, staring intently into Siennaās eyes, a slight tremor in his heart as he began to have an inkling.
Apparently, in Siennaās mind, she already had an inkling.
"President Orwell does have someone he likes."
"The person he likes... is it me?"
When Sienna asked this, her eyes blinked gently, holding a struggle within them. Saying this was truly difficult for her.
Sean sighed. This emotional idiot had finally awakened to such matters.
"You finally realized it, I thought youād only react when President Orwell told you himself," Sean sighed. Felix and Sienna had known each other for a long time, but in all these years, Felix had never mentioned such matters to her.
For the past five years, Felix had always stood behind Sienna, regardless of what difficulties she encountered, Felix would always find various ways to help her overcome them.
Even Sean found it hard to watch, wanting several times to hint to Sienna, but in the end, Felix stopped him. With a calm gaze, he said, "Now that you can sense it, Iām relieved. If things continued, I truly wouldnāt know how much longer President Orwell could persevere."
Actually, Sean had liked Sienna back during their school days, and even after all these years, he still harbored a trace of longing for her. However, seeing what Felix did for her, Sean had no choice but to admit that compared to him, he felt inferior!
