Chapter 381: You Need To Awaken The Sleeping Mountain

I stared at those juicy pink lips for a moment, already feeling something viciously hot stirring in my lower body, rising to the occasion.

’Bro doesn’t sleep on things!’

I heaved a sigh and looked at the towering monuments of books. Knowledge was important, and as far as another opportunity to pin Yuan down was concerned — after three long months — I could always do that later.

Whatever I studied here was going to help me in the days to come.

So, with my heart heavy with regret, I gave Yuan a steady look.

"As much as I want to indulge in this... I need to do certain things, Yuan."

Yuan smiled lustfully.

Her smile scared the shit out of me.

"It’s fine, Lord Cade. You can do whatever it is you want to do. I shall simply proceed with the collection of your seed and not bother you."

’She offered a solution just like that! Yuan, since when did you become so solution-oriented?!’

I thought about her solution for a moment and exhaled.

"Okay. How about you select some books for me?"

She lowered her head.

"Yes, Lord Cade. What books would you like to read?"

I glanced at her before listing them.

"Hmm... let’s see. One about bloodlines. I want knowledge compendiums that your grandfather either placed here himself or personally revised. Also something about summons and summoners in general... although interesting materials like a map of the world and certain records of his experiences would be good too. Does he have a biography? If he has one, add that too."

Yuan shook her head, slightly crestfallen.

"I see... then select the best ones you can think of for those subjects and bring them to me."

"Yes, my lord."

I watched her walk into the towering shelves of books, then made my way to the reading alcove, where a comfortable single-seater couch rested beside a small round table.

Just as I settled down, Yuan arrived with her face hidden behind a mountain of books. I helped her set some down and asked,

"Isn’t this too much? You’re a matriarch — you could have asked your maidens to help you." I glanced around worriedly. "Where are all of them?"

She smiled naughtily.

"I’m not going to give them the chance to serve you, Lord Cade."

Her face then shifted into a cute, irritated pout.

"I want to be the only one attending to your personal needs."

She looked gravely serious, yet there was still a touch of adorable sternness in her expression.

"Ah, okay... whatever suits you."

’I can’t complain. When last have I felt this valued? This is why Yuan is the best.’

I took the first book on the table and began slowly reading through it, thinking for the first time about how my harem was gradually coming together.

While I had only just opened the book, Yuan stood in front of me.

"Excuse me, my lord."

She spoke softly, then slowly lowered herself to her knees. Her hands moved to my groin, gently working around it as she loosened my trousers.

I didn’t want to seem eager and give her the satisfaction of seeing me ready. I wanted her to work for it a little. So I shifted my focus entirely to the book in my hand.

When she brought out my sleeping mountain, her eyes widened, though faint hints of disappointment flickered across her face.

I gave her a grave look.

"What? You can’t get it up?"

Yuan looked at me, a little lost.

"I thought... it is always hard like a pillar. Is it dead?"

I burst into wild, unrestrained laughter.

Indeed, she had never had to do something like this before. I was practically her first and only sexual partner, and every time we dove into each other, I was always the one pulling my penis out — hard and ready to destroy her lower mouth.

But today, for the first time, she had seen it like this.

I chuckled maniacally.

"This fella is always sleeping at every other time he isn’t working. That’s how powerful and important he is. If you want him to help you, though, you’re going to have to wake him up yourself. I will not assist you because you asked for this. Got it?"

The light in her eyes dulled for a moment.

"I see."

The next moment, newly risen starlight flickered within them.

"Then, excuse me."

Suddenly, I had a bad premonition about whatever was about to happen and began subtly regretting my earlier bravado.

She grabbed my sleeping half-brother in her cold hand and flipped it left and right, as if studying how it reacted.

Her brows lifted in surprise when she saw no response.

Then they narrowed again with ruthless resolve.

She rubbed her cold hands along the shaft of my rod, massaging it slowly. The sensitivity began to rise, but I battled against it by focusing on the book in my hands, making sure I deeply understood the pages.

I had only just gone through the first few pages about summoners and was already seeing things I never knew existed.

So essentially, Instructor Stone had dutifully lied to us.

Not only were there more than two types of summoners, but there were also varieties still being discovered even in the world during Mr. Jia Long’s time.

That was the name of the man who had reincarnated from China back on Earth and, of course, was reborn in this world in the year 1900 — which was over a century before my own time.

He had traveled the world for twenty years after reaching maturity as the son of a prestigious clan. During those travels, he discovered several fascinating things, though he did not record them until later in his life, after he had settled down.

There were two reasons Mr. Jia Long wrote these books.

First, he wanted to ensure that these discoveries were preserved—just as every adventurous soul wishes their findings to endure.

Second, Mr. Jia Long hoped he might be reincarnated again. Because of that, he wanted to leave knowledge behind for himself—or for any reincarnator or transmigrator from Earth or another world who might someday find themselves in his clan.

However, he was quite discreet about this particular goal.

For example, he had written the later portions in English — a language that only someone from Earth would understand.

It was quite fascinating seeing English written on paper again, truth be told.

My blood boiled with excitement as I prepared to dive deeper into the book, momentarily forgetting that someone between my legs was desperately trying to make my mountain rise.
