I Regressed With a 10,000x God-Tier Multiplier
Chapter 147: The Celestial War Begins, Magitech vs Holy Fire
"Open fire," Lucifer commanded.
His voice echoed across the global comms rune. It reached every battlement, every courtyard, and every command post on the floating city of Zephyria. The Warlord did not hesitate. He did not negotiate with the heavens.
The Celestial Hegemony had crossed into his airspace. The Golden Fleet hovered just outside the iridescent, pearl-like planetary shield.
They were terrifying. Colossal, spinning wheels of pure, burning golden fire dominated the sky. Thousands of unblinking, glowing white eyes studded the flaming rims of the wheels. Massive chariots forged of solid sunlight floated between the wheels, pulled by spectral lions. Millions of six-winged Seraphim hovered in perfect, rigid military formations, holding longswords made of highly concentrated plasma.
They expected the mortals to kneel. They expected the Warlord to surrender the Crown of the First King.
They received artillery.

The ten thousand Cryo-Pylons ringing the floating city discharged simultaneously.
They didn’t fire standard absolute zero magic. Vexia’s Sanguine Grid was fully integrated into the defense network. The heavy, dark red blood magic fused with the freezing blue aether.
Ten thousand blinding, violet-crimson lasers shot outward. The beams punched straight through the iridescent planetary shield from the inside out, completely ignoring the one-way barrier.
The barrage slammed into the tightly packed formations of the Golden Fleet.
The angels did not anticipate a mortal counterattack. The Seraphim raised their plasma swords to block, but the mutated Sanguine-Cryo beams bypassed standard holy mitigation. The absolute zero froze their wings of light. The blood magic instantly sought out the divine ichor in their veins and violently extracted it.
Thousands of Seraphim shattered in mid-air.
Their bodies imploded. Golden blood sprayed across the dark stratosphere. The frozen, shattered remnants of their holy armor rained down against Zephyria’s shield like hail.
"They bleed!" High Ranger Celeste roared from the lower battlements. She stood with her eight thousand Star-Kissed Elven snipers. "They bleed just like the demons! Fire at will!"
The Elven snipers raised their heavy, aether-charged ice-rifles. The rhythmic, deafening cracks of eight thousand sniper rounds echoed across the city. The glowing red, armor-piercing projectiles tore into the angelic ranks, shattering the burning wheels of fire and dropping the sunlight chariots.
The Avatar of Solaris Prime roared in fury. The towering, fifty-foot-tall God of Light raised his massive burning hand.
"Eradicate the heretics!" Solaris Prime bellowed.
The surviving millions of Seraphim retaliated. They raised their hands and unleashed a synchronized volley of holy fire.
Millions of pure, white-hot plasma missiles rained down on Zephyria. They hit the iridescent planetary shield like a localized meteor shower.
*BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.*
The entire floating mountain shuddered. The shockwaves rippled through the black-stone courtyards. The brilliant white explosions blinded the mortal soldiers manning the inner walls.
"The shield is taking massive kinetic damage!" Vexia shrieked over the comms. Deep in the Aether-Forge, the Sanguine Princess was bleeding her own wrists, pouring raw vampire vitality into the grid to keep the dome from cracking. "Their holy fire is burning away the blood wards faster than the reactor can push it out!"
"Reinforce the top canopy," Lucifer ordered smoothly.
He looked down at the main courtyard. One thousand Paladin-Mechs stood in perfect formation.
"Titans," Lucifer commanded. "Anti-air saturation."
The twenty-meter-tall golden machines raised their massive shoulder cannons. They didn’t aim at specific targets. They aimed at the densest clusters of the Golden Fleet.
One thousand thick, blinding beams of holy sunlight erupted from the mechs. The Paladin-Mechs were forged using holy magic derived from Lyra herself. The system registered their attacks as pure divine damage.
The beams tore through the angelic ranks. The Seraphim expected dark magic from a Warlord. They did not expect to be shot out of the sky by their own element. The Titan artillery blew massive holes in the Golden Fleet, incinerating angels and chariots alike in brutal, overlapping explosions.
But the sheer volume of the celestial army was overwhelming.
"They are advancing!" Elara shouted, gripping her violet-flaming spear.
The Seraphim realized long-range bombardment was inefficient against the planetary shield. They abandoned their formations. Millions of angels dove directly toward the iridescent dome.
They hit the shield like a swarm of golden locusts.
They didn’t cast spells. They used their bare, burning hands and their plasma swords. They violently hacked, slashed, and clawed at the magical barrier. The holy fire coated their gauntlets, actively burning away the spatial physics keeping the shield intact.

Tiny, jagged cracks formed in the pearl-like dome. The angels forced their hands into the cracks, physically tearing the magical barrier open with raw, divine strength.
Dozens of Seraphim ripped through the dome and plummeted into the city.
They landed on the high black-stone spires and the upper courtyards. They raised their plasma swords, their featureless faces burning with holy rage, preparing to slaughter the mortal defenders below. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"They are inside the perimeter!" Lyra yelled, raising her silver broadsword.
"They are exactly where I want them," Lucifer stated coldly.
He didn’t order the Dragoons to intercept. He didn’t order the Titans to turn their cannons inward.
Lucifer raised his right hand. The Gauntlet of the Void King pulsed with dark matter.
"Legion," Lucifer whispered.
He tapped directly into his Viceroy of Shadows title. He didn’t use a portal. He didn’t use a summoning circle.
He commanded the shadows cast by the angels themselves.
Behind every single Seraph that had breached the shield, the ambient shadow on the black stone elongated. The shadows peeled off the floor, instantly taking three-dimensional form.
Four thousand Void-Stalker Phantoms materialized simultaneously across the upper tiers of Zephyria.
They made no sound. They displaced no air. They were composed of dense, swirling black smoke and wore tattered spectral hoods. Their arms ended in long, jagged blades of pure spatial distortion.
The Seraphim didn’t even sense them. The Phantoms had no magical signature until they struck.
A high-ranking Seraph raised its plasma sword, preparing to dive into the mortal barracks.
A Void-Stalker materialized directly behind it. The Phantom swung its jagged spatial blade in a seamless, silent, horizontal arc.
The blade passed effortlessly through the angel’s golden armor and severed its spine.
The Seraph’s head flew into the air. Golden blood sprayed violently across the cobblestones.
[System: Hostile Eliminated: Celestial Seraph (Level 60)]
It was a perfectly synchronized, absolute slaughter. Four thousand invisible assassins struck exactly at the same millisecond.
The angels that had breached the shield were decapitated, impaled, and dismembered before they could swing a single sword. Golden ichor rained down over the battlements. The Phantoms moved like a perfectly choreographed nightmare, dodging the falling angelic corpses and melting back into the shadows to wait for the next breach.
Lucifer watched the golden blood wash over the black stone.
He didn’t move. He stood on the high balcony, his void-swirling eyes tracking the massive, burning Avatar hovering outside the dome.
"The breaches are plugged," Lucifer reported smoothly over the comms. "Hold the line. Let them bleed against the glass."
He had turned Zephyria into a meat grinder. The Heavens were throwing themselves against a wall of ice and blood, only to be butchered by shadows the moment they broke through.
The celestial war was not a siege. It was a harvest.
