Chapter 73: 73

The next morning, Quash arrived at the Inner Academy City train station. The train is a flying one. It runs on Natural Energy Crystals, since absorbing from the Atmosphere is not nearly enough to compensate the burning rate.

But regardless, he waited for the train that has a stop at Duxford Academy. He was casually standing on the platform, minding his own business, but the beta males around him just wouldn’t leave him alone.

"Hey! Blondy, what’s your relationship with the Vampire Princess!?"

A bulky-built dude suddenly walked up to Quash and asked what was his relationship with his wife. He turned to the dude with a nonchalant expression.

"She’s my wife now."

"Impossible!! There’s no way she would ever do tha-!"

The dude and others around them flatly denied it, but Quash just showed them the mark Gabriella had left and they shut up. But from their faces, it was clear that they still couldn’t believe it.

But they had to because of the clip from yesterday going viral in the Academy forum. Where the Princess called this guy her husband.

Quash saw that these people were dealing with a dilemma, so as a good guy, he needed to help them.

A sly smile appeared on his face.

"And you know what? She invited me to her room yesterday~."

"Huh!?"(°ロ°) !

"And I saw the heavens, the mountains, the valley!! And achieved enlightenment you guys can never even dream of! Hah!"( ̄▽ ̄)

Quash said with a satisfied smile. But that didn’t last long, his smile stiffened, his danger sense ringing, he tried to move away but the attacker was faster and pinched him at the side of his stomach.

Quash gritted his teeth. His expression cracked. Sweat coming out. His neck veins bulged and face red from holding back a scream. He tried to swat away whatever was pinching him but he grabbed the air instead.

He looked to the side where it was empty, nothing was there. But the next moment, Gabriella materialised out of nowhere. Making everyone including Quash shocked.

She looked at Quash with a small frown. Her lips curled back slightly, feigning anger.

"What nonsense are you spouting?"

She asked Quash while increasing the pressure a bit which made Quash struggle even harder. But he didn’t scream.

"Ha-haha. Honey. Please let go. You’re killing your hubby. You don’t wanna be a widow right?"

Quash said between his breaths.

"As if this will kill you."

Gabriella murmured but she still let go. Quash hurriedly rubbed the place she was pinching. The pain was real. He felt like a boulder had been lifted off of his brain since there was a sudden adrenaline spike which made his brain feel like it was clogged.

His heart was beating like a drum. But all was fine now and he was recovering. But the people on the platform were not able to. They looked at the scene and understood that what that hateful guy had said might be true. Their goddess had been tainted by a mortal. One that wasn’t even worthy of her.

Their hearts felt like someone was stabbing it with a fork. The pain was unimaginable. Jealousy, unwillingness filled their hearts.

Some guy even tried to jump on Quash after looking at the love-dovey scene between their goddess and the demon.

But one look from Gabriella and he was pushed back like a rag doll. Making everyone’s hair stand on end. They realised who they were dealing with. And also realised that the claims of that demon really were true.

Some lost strength in their legs and sat down on the platform. Even though they knew that they may never be able to be at her side, they could still console their hearts that she wasn’t embraced by someone else. But now that fantasy had been shattered.

She was now married. She was claimed. Marked and trained. They didn’t want to imagine but their brains did it anyway and created a scenario in their heads where that demon was forcing himself onto their goddess.

The pain in their hearts intensified. Some even outright started crying.

But Quash was smiling, the hater-tear farming was going unimaginably well. Every day, many people burned in the flames of jealousy. Their days started with ruin.

He looked around and the scene was magnificent. A bunch of grown ass boys crying, hyperventilating or clutching their chests is a masterpiece.

The train arrived and was waiting for the students to get in. But no one was in the right state of mind to get in.

Quash smiled, put his hand on Gabriella’s hip, pulled her closer and gestured her to go in.

Gabriella couldn’t help but sigh. She needed to do something about her husband’s toxic personality. The way he enjoyed others’ misery is a bit too much for her liking. She preferred quietness. And as a Vampire, her love for peace and slow life is even more intense. But wherever she goes, noise follows. And this time wasn’t any different.

She couldn’t entirely blame it on Quash. Even though he was already talking nonsense before she even arrived. But her arrival certainly caused many emotional damages.

But she had learned to ignore them over the years.

So she and Quash entered the train. The interior was larger than it seemed outside. The space was expanded. And the inside was luxurious. Since the part they entered was the VIP section and also costs more ACP.

But it wasn’t much compared to what the Top 100 gets as the rank reward. They found an empty seat and sat near the window. The train would launch in 1 minute.

And the students on the platform seemed to have recovered a bit and were getting into the train like a horde of zombies.

"My my. My wife came to see me on her own on the second day? Couldn’t wait huh you naughty girl~."

Quash said to Gabriella with a teasing smile while poking her cheek. He was fully leaning onto her.

She didn’t say anything just looked at his neck and licked her lips.

Quash: "..."
