[It’s only been one stick of incense’s time since he entered the grand formation, and he’s already about to be refined?]

[It remembers that your fleshly body and Dharma body have already been destroyed, and that you are relying solely on your soul to endure within the formation. If not for that divine art protection, it would indeed make sense for you to be converted this quickly.]

[It immediately raises its voice toward the treasure hall doors and shouts, Hold on! Do not panic!]

[The trembling of the ground beneath your feet is not due to an external enemy invading, but because the grand formation’s refinement has reached its most critical point. At this moment, the grand formation cannot be interrupted. Grit your teeth and endure this phase, and once you come out, we will truly be fellow disciple brothers!]

[The moment those words fall, the vibration of the treasure hall, which had only just weakened slightly, immediately becomes even more violent.]

[Such violent trembling causes the White Elephant Demon’s expression to change. Ordinary acts of refinement would absolutely never produce such intense trembling. This is more like your sins being so grave that they have caused the Demon-Subduing Grand Formation to activate with full force.]

[The White Elephant Demon hears your voice, faint as a mosquito’s hum and thin as a thread, and sees the vibration of the treasure hall intensify. Sweat breaks out on its forehead as it paces back and forth by the door in anxiety, yet it cannot break in and interrupt the formation’s refinement.]

[The White Elephant Demon says angrily, Just how much killing karma has this dragon demon committed, to cause the Demon-Subduing Grand Formation to refine with full force?]

[What a miscalculation! Had it known this would happen, it should first have used those treasures gathered by the Bodhisattva to stabilize his soul and reconstruct his fleshly body before proceeding with the refinement…]

[It paces back and forth, anxious as though on burning coals.]

[Suddenly, the White Elephant Demon slaps its forehead and says, Got it! Although it cannot interrupt the formation, it can use Dharma power to send objects into the formation that stabilize the soul and reconstruct the fleshly body, helping the dragon demon survive this ordeal.]

[Judging by how much the Bodhisattva likes this dragon demon, afterward she absolutely will not blame it for using the treasures without permission. Instead, she will praise it for knowing how to act according to circumstances.]

[With that thought, the White Elephant Demon shouts loudly, Hold on, you must hold on! I will be right back! You absolutely must hold on!]

[With those words, it rises into the air and vanishes…]

[The White Elephant Demon lets out a helpless sigh and says that these two treasures are incomparably precious. If not for seeing that you are about to suffer soul-dispersal, it would never have used them without permission.]

[There are nine lotus seeds in the lotus pod. Take however many you need. The rest must be returned to it after you come out. Once your soul is stabilized, you should be able to endure the grand formation’s grinding away.]

[If after taking all nine lotus seeds you still cannot resist the grand formation’s erosion, then use this lotus root section to reconstruct your fleshly body… sigh, save what can be saved, remember this, remember this!]
