[With this thought, its attitude toward you becomes even more kind, and it says in its muffled voice, Junior Brother, no matter how sincere you once were toward that Dragon God, after being refined by the Demon-Subduing Grand Formation, you will wholeheartedly serve Lord Enma and submit to the Bodhisattva.]

[Since you have entered this sect, you must become thoroughly familiar with the Buddhist scriptures, so as to understand the supreme Lord Enma and your current master, the Great Dark Endless Delusion Bodhisattva.]

[Now it will bring you to the Wondrous Dharma Hall to study all kinds of Buddhist scriptures and texts…]

[As it speaks, the White Elephant Demon leads you onto a cloud bridge and heads toward another treasure hall…]

[The treasure hall named Wondrous Dharma Hall has two floors in total. The first floor holds many Buddhist scriptures and texts, while the second floor stores Buddhist cultivation methods and various divine arts.]

[As the White Elephant Demon explains things to you, it points to a set of great scriptures on the top shelf of a scripture cabinet and says that this collection is called the Heavenly Enma Great Canon, a Dharma text compiled and written by the great Buddhas and great Bodhisattvas under Lord Enma according to Lord Enma’s life deeds.]

[Our Bodhisattva also contributed a great deal to it. You may neglect your other Buddhist scripture coursework, but this Heavenly Enma Great Canon must be carefully studied and remembered by heart.]

[As for the second floor of the treasure hall, where cultivation methods and divine arts are stored, since it is protected by a restriction, you cannot go there on your own. You will need to wait for the Bodhisattva to return and personally choose a set of cultivation methods and divine arts suited to you.]

[Once you formally enter the sect, the Bodhisattva will not only grant you methods of cultivation, but also take you to the Wondrous Treasure Hall, where there are many treasures and ritual implements. If any ritual implement there is fated with you, the Bodhisattva will not hesitate to grant it to you.]

[As the senior brother who brought you into the sect, it should by rights give you a ritual implement for self-defense, but your Senior Brother White Elephant is short of… no, rather, it dislikes relying on external objects in cultivation, so aside from a pair of iron hammers, it has no other ritual implements on it.]

[As it speaks, the White Elephant Demon hands you a square bone tablet and continues, This is the passage ordination permit of this dojo. With this item in hand, you may freely enter and exit most of the great halls within the dojo…]

[If you grow tired of reading Buddhist scriptures, you may also wander about at will and visit the other treasure halls. Let it remind you of one thing here. Among the many halls, the Evil-Execution Hall is a forbidden hall. Do not trespass inside, lest you lose your life. Remember this, remember this.]

[You obtained Bodh Gaya Chan Dojo Passage Ordination Permit (Key)!]

[The White Elephant Demon pats your shoulder and says, All right, you should earnestly study the Buddhist scriptures here. Senior Brother will first return to the Wondrous Light Hall to cultivate. If there is anything you do not understand, just remember it for now. Once Senior Brother wakes up… once Senior Brother finishes cultivating, come look for me, and I will answer your doubts.]

[It appears completely relaxed, as though having finished the Bodhisattva’s Dharma decree has lifted a burden from its whole body, and it turns to leave. [The White Elephant Demon rolls its eyes and sneers, First, you have already been completely converted by the Demon-Subduing Grand Formation, and Buddhist light is clearly circling your body, showing that you have sincerely submitted. Why would it fear you running away?]

[Second, the dojo’s dharma-protector grand formation has already been activated since the Bodhisattva departed. Without the Bodhisattva’s permission, even it cannot get out, much less you.]

[If you do not believe it, then try using a shifting divine art and see whether you can leave this dojo…]

[The scriptures say that after Lord Enma was ‘born,’ he established twelve great vows, vowing to let his own blazing radiance illuminate immeasurable, countless, boundless worlds…]

[Vowing for his body to be like glazed crystal, transparent within and without, pure and free of stain or filth, vast in radiance, adorned with a net of flames, surpassing the sun and moon…]

[Vowing to completely eradicate greed, anger, delusion, filth, sin, and defilement, and to save all living beings…]

[Ancient Heavenly Enma vowed to use Glazed Pure Fire to eradicate all evil in the world, and then to impart to the people the three thousand great paths. Through the Dao methods, one could refine oneself, sever the three corpses and nine worms, cast off one’s own malice and obsessions, and thereby attain Golden Immortality.]

[And through the Buddhist Dharma, one could convert others, free them from all constraints of heterodox paths, entanglement by evil demons, and defilement by karmic obstacles, and thereby attain fruit rank.]

[All people in the world possessed hearts inclined toward goodness, and thus abandoned their faith in the old gods and evil demons, consciously submitting to the Great Radiance…]

[Lord Enma wished to convert the leader of the old gods and evil demons, the Chaotic Origin Dragon, but its karmic obstacles had already become deeply rooted. Only by using great Dharma power to kill it could this chief evil be executed…]
