The gust of the night wind struck a dazzling city, the noisy sound of magical vehicle engines could be heard decorating the streets of the densely crawling city.

In one corner of the city, a row of houses that looked identical could be seen, in one of those houses, the aroma of cooking could be smelled surrounding the house, that aroma of cooking was accompanied by the sound of news being played on the TV.

Alex looked at and listened to the news while lying face down on the sofa, his black eyes showed exhaustion from something unknown, a pleasant pain was felt on his back, that pleasant pain kept moving around, that pain came from Aisy’s feet stepping on Alex’s back, her smile bloomed happily while her hands held the sofa support.

A rough sigh was heard from Alex, his ears twitched when hearing the presenter delivering the news.

".....only seven days left until the meeting of the leaders is held...."

Alex turned his head from looking at the TV toward the sofa support, his ears still heard what was said by the presenter.

"....the topic that will be discussed is rumored to be about the turbulent conditions in every region..."

"....this meeting of the leaders is clearly faster than usual, of course because the situation we are facing is not normal...."

Alex groaned slightly when Aisy stepped right on the part of his back that still felt painful.

"And what is interesting this time is, someone will be invited to join that meeting....that person is none other than the inventor of the demon energy potion, namely Mira Xilac"

Alex’s ears twitched, he looked back toward the TV, his expression froze.

’Mira is invited?’

Alex scratched his itchy cheek, while Aisy began to lie face down on Alex’s back because of exhaustion.

’Why am I not invited? I am the second holy energy user!’

Alex slowly held Aisy who was now just lying on his back, the sound of her laughter had disappeared.

’What do you mean? We are a package...’

Alex wanted to turn over, but because Aisy was on his back he had difficulty, until finally his father carried Aisy from Alex’s back.

His father sighed, he looked at Alex who looked at him while smiling.

"What is this? You are only being lazy for days, are you already prepared to return to the academy?"

Alex yawned hearing what his father said, he tilted his body and supported his cheek with his right hand.

"What is there to prepare? Just enter like usual...."

His father clicked his tongue, he moved Alex’s legs that took up the entire sofa, Alex who felt displaced was forced to sit, while his father sat on the sofa while patting Aisy who began to fall asleep.

"I do not believe you became this lazy....where is the diligent Alex?! Are you really Alex?!"

Alex chuckled, he massaged his neck that felt stiff.

"Is father serious talking like that to his own child?"

Alex stretched his body, a relieved groan was heard unconsciously when he made his bones sound.

"Did father forget? I just got beaten at the palace, but father instead says I am being lazy and that I am not Alex?"

His father looked at Alex, he pinched Alex’s cheek until Alex groaned in pain, the pinch did not let go until his cheek turned red.

"Precisely because of that! What were you doing fighting those people?! You should have just hidden, that is the real you!"

Alex tried to release his father’s pinch, and when the pinch was released, Alex rubbed his reddened cheek.

"How could I leave my friend in that condition? Besides, father should be proud if his child managed to defeat one or two bad people..."

His father chuckled, he wrapped his right arm around Alex’s neck while his left hand still carried Aisy.

"Of course I will be proud! But you must also take care of yourself! You...you have become reckless now!"

Alex kept trying to release his father’s hold, but he had difficulty, in the end only a pinch on his father’s ear could release his father’s arm.

There his mother pinched his father’s ear, even his father begged to be released.

A sigh was heard from his mother, she carried the sleeping Aisy and looked at Alex.

Alex immediately stood up, he looked at his mother.

His mother smiled faintly and looked at Alex.

"The food is ready....come eat first, mother already made porridge..." his mother slowly walked toward the dining table, while his father also followed and Alex followed while grumbling.

They finally ate together, several times their laughter was heard trying to compete with the sound of the TV that was still playing, warmth felt just right if present in the middle of them.

Their dinner lasted quite long because it was mixed with conversations about various things.

Alex who felt he had digested his food finally went up to the second floor, his stomach felt like it would explode because of fullness, and that was the reason he was a bit out of breath when climbing the stairs.

Drowsiness began to attack him when he arrived on the second floor, he immediately went to his room.

He opened his room door lazily, there his room looked glaring in Alex’s eyes, he turned off the light and began to walk to lie down on his bed which was near the window.

A sigh was heard from him when he looked at the dark ceiling of the room, now only moonlight slightly entered his room.

A yawn returned to attack Alex, he held his stomach that felt full.

"I am like a fool if I am too full..."

Alex’s statement to himself in the quiet room was answered by Krystal in his mind.

"I agree..."

Alex’s lips twitched, he did not want to respond to Krystal, while Krystal spoke again to him, she protested to Alex when Alex’s eyelids closed and opened more often.

’Do not sleep yet! Why do you want to sleep when it is not late yet!’

Alex sighed, he covered his ears even though the noise was in his mind because of Krystal.

"Be quiet! What can I do damn it!! I am full and tired...."

Krystal clicked her tongue, she kept shouting so that Alex would not fall asleep first.

’Tired?! You have rested for a full week! Why are you still tired?! Isn’t now the right time to level up’

Alex rubbed his ears as if he heard Krystal through his ears not his head, he turned his body facing away from the open window.

"Please....just these seven days I can be calm, do you not see the past month?! I almost died many times, damn it!!"

Krystal sighed roughly, she did not stop persuading and reminding Alex about various things.

’You must remember what we will face later!! And because of that you must train....wake up lazy!!’

Alex covered his face with both of his palms, his sigh was heard through his palms.

"Tomorrow. Tomorrow I will train...."

Krystal kept rambling in Alex’s mind, while Alex began to drift, he felt the pleasure of lying on the bed after eating, his eyelids slowly became heavy, his black eyes slowly lost consciousness.

But, all that pleasant process stopped when Alex’s first soul core vibrated feeling something, Alex who was previously relaxed was now forced to be pulled back to reality, his black eyes widened, in his dark room suddenly he saw a light entering brighter than moonlight, that light became brighter quickly.

At the same time, Alex’s first soul core made Alex roll to the floor of his room from the top of the bed, he cursed himself because the comfort disappeared suddenly.

Alex immediately turned his body to look toward the window, his body trembled when seeing an orange light that kept shining unnaturally, Alex’s brain had not fully adapted to the sudden change but Alex’s first soul core immediately acted, Alex grabbed his mattress that previously gave comfort, he gritted his teeth and lifted it to cover his window.

After that Alex immediately took shelter in the corner of the wall, he also took out the changing sword.

Meanwhile something warm suddenly penetrated Alex’s mattress that previously covered the window, there was no significant sound, there was only the sound of something penetrating the cotton inside Alex’s mattress, his mattress was pierced by orange light like a laser.

When that orange light touched the wall of Alex’s room, that orange light turned into a burst of fire, and in an instant Alex’s room exploded.

The sound of the explosion echoed around the housing complex, its vibration even made the alarms of cars parked not far from Alex’s house sound.

The window and the mattress that were previously pierced were now destroyed, and Alex’s room became hollow.

Now only black smoke blocked the view of the moon from seeing Alex’s room that was burning and destroyed.

And from that black smoke, suddenly appeared someone with a large body, one of his eyes shone gold, he stepped his foot into Alex’s room that was already destroyed.

Meanwhile from the first floor of the house, the sound of shouting was heard mixed with the crying of a small child, the sound of fast footsteps also echoed in the corridor of the second floor.
