The hot wind hit Alex’s black hair and Katarina’s long dark red hair as they sat on the garden bench, the metal of the bench slowly heating up because of the reflection of the sunlight that was at its highest point.

Neither of them moved at all while Katarina was still writing her letter, meanwhile Alex only yawned several times, sweat sometimes appearing on his body because he was wearing a black jacket under the blazing sun.

After some time, Katarina finally finished writing her letter, she put the paper into the envelope and sealed it, a tired sigh came out from her.

Alex looked at the exhausted Katarina. "You wrote a lot huh?..."

One of Katarina’s eyebrows rose, she cracked her finger bones. "Leak is indeed complicated. It has several attack variations, I also wrote its traits, and how it hides..."

Alex and Katarina started turning toward the end of the corridor, there they both saw the phoenix walking alone with her black cane.

Alex’s black eyes widened because that was the first time he saw the phoenix’s face.

Her straight black hair sometimes came loose trying to escape from the hood covering her head, her yellowish white skin suited her very well, and her white eyes were visible without pupils, her white eyes looked as if they were staring at Alex and Katarina.

Alex tilted his head seeing both of her eyeballs were white, the sound of her soft footsteps could also be heard.

Alex leaned his body sideways toward Katarina.

"Can she really not see?" Alex swallowed his saliva. "I think she’s looking toward us..."

Katarina glanced at Alex. "She indeed looks like a blind person, but actually she can see much more than us..."

One of Katarina’s eyebrows rose, her smile became wider. "What task is it? May I know?"

Mata Hari’s white eyes narrowed after hearing Katarina’s request, she smiled slightly.

"Hey....that is a secret!" Mata Hari then looked at Katarina from head to toe. "You’ve changed quite a lot huh...princess? Have you experienced something frightening?"

Katarina swallowed her saliva, her heart beat fast, meanwhile Mata Hari only smiled waiting for Katarina’s answer.

Katarina’s eyes widened, she slightly turned toward the back to check how many people were behind her, her heart beat fast, what she saw was only Alex, Katarina then laughed awkwardly.

Mata Hari only smiled slightly hearing Katarina’s words.

Meanwhile, Alex who heard Mata Hari’s words immediately cursed in silence.

Krystal was silent for a few moments, her voice sounded trembling when answering Alex.

’Damn! Hurry and go away! This scary woman is like staring at me while smiling creepily!’

Alex swallowed his saliva, he tried checking Mata Hari’s face, but there was no smile there.

A wide smile formed again on Mata Hari’s face, she turned her body and immediately walked without using her cane. "Looks like the dragon king has never met him." Mata Hari giggled slightly. "If he met that child, he would definitely cry sobbing..."

Mata Hari became silent again afterward, her sparkling white light slowly became brighter consuming her entire body, and in an instant, Mata Hari disappeared from the place where she stood.

Slowly the gray color disappeared, the world regained its original colors.

Meanwhile, inside the corridor in the palace, two pairs of footsteps sounded quickly.

Those footsteps belonged to Alex and Katarina, they ran through the white colored corridor, they passed dozens of paintings and colorful vases, they were also sometimes hit by the hot sunlight

After feeling they had gone far enough from Mata Hari, Alex immediately stopped, he placed his hand on the white wall, his breath was panting, sweat flowed all over his face.

Katarina also stopped near Alex, her condition was not much different from Alex, they ran quite far.

Alex then looked at Katarina, he swallowed his saliva and opened his mouth. "What the hell was that scary woman-"

Before Alex finished speaking, Katarina placed her index finger in front of her lips, Alex swallowed his saliva seeing it.

Katarina then opened her jeans jacket, now she only wore a sleeveless white shirt as her top.

Alex only froze hearing Katarina’s question, he opened his mouth several times but no sound came out, instead he smiled foolishly.

Katarina who suddenly saw that immediately changed her expression, her eyes became sharp, she had seen Alex’s foolish smile many times, and every time that smile appeared, it only meant one thing.

Katarina approached Alex, she gritted her teeth, her hand immediately grabbed Alex’s white shirt, she gripped it tightly and shook him which made Alex’s body sway.

Katarina shouted in the middle of the corridor.

"You’re hiding something aren’t you?! You said you’ve revealed all your secrets!!"

Alex raised both of his hands as a sign of surrender, he tried stopping Katarina who was gripping his shirt.

Katarina who saw that immediately stopped shaking Alex’s body, she looked at Alex seriously.

Alex smiled awkwardly, he swallowed his saliva.

"Hey, I’m not hiding it! I was just waiting for the right time." Alex nodded several times. "Right! I was waiting for the right time!"

Katarina looked at Alex with a cold expression, she did not say a single word.

She only pulled Alex’s shirt which made Alex’s body follow her, Katarina then lowered her head, she aimed her forehead toward Alex’s nose.

A loud collision sound could be heard in the corridor, Alex groaned too, he fell onto the floor while holding his nose.

Katarina only looked at him from above, she whispered annoyedly. "You bastard..."

Katarina then stepped away leaving Alex who had fallen on the floor.

Alex who saw Katarina going away immediately tried getting up, his right hand still covered his nose, some warm liquid suddenly came out, Alex looked at his palm, there blood was already painted.

Alex swallowed his saliva, his nose felt itchy.

"Damn..."

Alex immediately hurried toward Katarina, he tried speaking while covering his nose whose blood kept coming out, but Katarina did not care about him.

"Hey hey I’m sorry! I really didn’t mean to lie to you! I was only waiting for the right time to tell you!"

Katarina still did not care about Alex, she kept walking away.

Alex finally used his last weapon, he grabbed Katarina’s arm and pulled her to face him, their faces stared at each other.

Katarina only stayed silent, she did not care about Alex’s words, she also did not look at Alex’s three fingers, she only looked at Alex’s face.

Alex who saw Katarina only stay silent without speaking started becoming worried, he started showing all ten of his fingers, but his movement stopped when Katarina touched his nose that was still bleeding.

Alex’s black eyes widened, he only stood frozen while showing ten fingers, meanwhile Katarina wiped the blood coming out using the sleeve edge of Alex’s black jacket that Katarina wore.

Alex only stood frozen silently, his black eyes stared at Katarina’s blue eyes that focused on cleaning the blood coming out, Alex swallowed his saliva, his heart suddenly beat fast.

Katarina who saw Alex only frozen immediately sighed, she did not look at Alex but she spoke to him.

"Are there any more lies?"

Alex swallowed his saliva, he still stared at Katarina’s blue eyes. "There aren’t...I will explain it later."

Katarina gritted her teeth, she was still cleaning Alex’s blood. "Just see if there are more lies....I will burn you alive."

Alex nodded many times, he still kept looking at Katarina’s blue eyes.

Katarina kept speaking, her contrast was very clearly visible compared to when she was silent earlier.

"I already told you everything! I even told you my embarrassing secret!" Katarina who was wiping Alex’s blood gently suddenly became rough.

Alex could not do anything, meanwhile Katarina shifted her gaze to look at Alex, their eyes met each other.

Alex swallowed his saliva, he realized what would happen if he kept speaking. "Alright alright. Thirteen, okay? Don’t add more..."

Katarina did not answer, she did not stop walking, she slightly turned her face away, a faint smile formed on her face.

The two of them walked through the palace corridor preparing to return to the academy.
