White light enveloped alex and krystal, they saw with their own eyes colors slowly appearing as if they were being painted on a canvas.

A room took shape with walls made from yellow-colored earth, four large pillars surrounded a mud pool in the center of the room.

Alex and krystal’s eyes were immediately drawn to the mud pool, a man with blond hair sat at the edge of the pool, his face glowing.

Both of his hands were inserted into the mud pool, he ignored the white sleeves stained by mud, he shaped something from the mud.

The first thing he formed was a pair of sturdy legs, above them he added a healthy body, both of his hands entered the mud again and grabbed mud, he attached it onto the mud body.

The man continued shaping the body made of mud, the movements of his hands and what he created showed skill that could not be doubted.

He took mud again with both hands, this time he placed it on the upper part of the body, slowly he formed the neck and head of a teenager, he drew the face with astonishing detail.

The man added a pair of horns on top of the head.

Alex held his forehead, he did not know what the glowing-faced man was doing, krystal also remained frozen in silence without understanding.

The man then made another one, but this time he made the hair longer than the previous one, it did not take long until he successfully finished both mud statues.

The glowing-faced man looked at both of his creations, he wiped mud onto his forehead that might have been sweating, a sigh came from him.

He directed his hand toward the two mud statues, fire came out and immediately burned both statues, the fire then nested in the heart area of the statues.

The glowing man then directed his left hand toward both statues, golden light came out accompanied by golden dust, the golden light enveloped both statues and was absorbed toward the hearts of the two statues.

Alex’s heart beat rapidly, his face was filled with confusion ’holy energy? A pair of horns on top of their heads?’

Slowly cracks appeared on both mud statues, the cracks grew larger covering the mud statues, and after several cracking sounds, the mud layers shattered.

Alex’s black eyes could only stare at what he saw, he could see dozens of mud fragments falling in slowed time, he could also see two bodies appearing from behind the falling mud fragments, two complete bodies like alex, two bodies that could move.

Alex closed his eyes, he lowered his head ’damn...what was that? What did I see?’

Krystal who saw the same thing was not much different in reaction, she covered her mouth with both hands, her black eyes trembled.

Meanwhile, the glowing-faced man immediately covered the bodies of the two teenagers with robes, both teenagers looked at him in confusion.

The glowing-faced man then spoke, his voice sounded calm and clear "welcome andin and...." the glowing-faced man shifted his gaze toward the other teenager "....malakar"

Krystal fell and sat on the floor, she lost her strength, while alex lost his composure, his breathing became chaotic.

A voice sounded in alex and krystal’s ears "today is the day luminor created malakar and andin..."

"...luminor created them from earth mixed with water, he added his own fire and also his own holy energy...."

Luminor smiled behind his glowing face, he stroked malakar’s black hair which made malakar look at him, he also gently stroked andin’s gray hair "how about we see the world for the first time?"

A voice sounded again toward alex and krystal’s ears "one day the two of them will become the first dragon king and dragon queen, they will give birth to many great descendants...."

Luminor stood from the edge of the mud pool, he stretched both of his hands toward malakar and andin, the two of them held them, and luminor pulled both of them out from the mud pool.

He walked while holding malakar and andin’s hands with both of his own hands, they walked out of the building.

Alex and krystal could only remain silent, a voice sounded again in their ears "follow them....you will see the others..."

Alex let out a tired sigh, he still could not understand what he saw, but he tried to follow luminor, he also pulled krystal who had lost her strength, he held krystal’s hand and followed out of the building.

The gleam of light struck alex and krystal, they closed their eyes as a natural response, a fresh breeze hit their bodies, the aroma of fresh air could naturally be smelled.

Alex forced his eyelids to open, he saw the backs of luminor, malakar, and andin walking in the middle of a path splitting thousands of colorful flowers.

Alex and krystal then followed, their tattered clothes, as well as their faces covered in dried mud looked unworthy among the thousands of colorful flowers, but they did not care, no one saw them.

Alex and krystal followed luminor until entering a forest, the sounds of various insects could be heard, malakar and andin kept looking in every direction, it was their first time seeing the world.

They passed hundreds of trees planted irregularly, they walked as if enjoying the beautiful world, until something stopped their steps inside the forest.

Alex and krystal also stopped, the sound of footsteps echoed in the middle of the forest, slowly from behind the trees a creature appeared, the creature had four deer legs with a moving cow tail, its whole body was covered in bright blue fur, its neck resembled a horse, and its head was shaped like a dragon with two long whiskers moving in the air, a pair of horns stretched backward from its head.

The creature carried another figure, he was a fat man with long bright red hair flowing down, his face glowed just like luminor’s.

The dragon-headed creature sniffed malakar and andin, its bulging eyes then looked at malakar and andin’s horns, it then looked at luminor "lord luminor....their horns look like mine..."

Luminor chuckled, he patted the head of the bright blue furry creature "of course...I was inspired by your horns, killin"

Killin nodded proudly, while the bright red-haired man who saw malakar and andin immediately laughed "did you create them to take care of your children? Luminor?"

Luminor smiled faintly, he held andin’s hand again "of course not....I created them so they could lead and protect my children and their descendants in the future..."

The bright red-haired man stroked his chin, he nodded several times, killin then walked past luminor, a whisper was heard from the bright red-haired man, his whisper reached alex and krystal.

"I had a nightmare..." luminor nodded upon hearing it "everyone had bad dreams..."

Killin exhaled a breath creating smoke, the bright red-haired man spoke without turning back "do we need to prepare?"

Luminor nodded once "of course...." luminor walked again while holding malakar and andin’s hands, alex and krystal followed him, they passed by killin.

Killin slightly turned his head when they passed him which made krystal slightly startled, but thankfully she was not bitten by killin.

The two of them immediately ran to catch up with luminor, they walked for some time until the forest finally showed its end, the sound of rushing water could be heard which made alex and krystal look at each other.

Alex and krystal finally stepped out from the embrace of the dense forest, they could only stand silently as the fresh breeze hit their bodies.

Alex and krystal’s black eyes gazed at every corner of the seemingly endless savanna, the sound of rushing water came from a small waterfall forming a pond.

A simple wooden house stood not far from there with a low wooden fence surrounding it, an unconscious smile formed on alex’s face, he brushed his black hair with his right hand.

Meanwhile krystal’s hand gripping his left hand tightened, she looked at alex and pointed toward all the beautiful scenery, her black eyes sparkled, she opened her mouth repeatedly as if speaking but no sound came out.

Alex only nodded trying to understand, the two of them then walked following the path luminor took toward the simple house.

Alex and krystal finally stood before the wooden fence surrounding the house, a joyful shout was heard from inside the house and afterward four small children ran out happily, they ran toward luminor, the four of them had different appearances which made alex laugh foolishly while krystal froze.

The fastest one running was a little girl with dark blue hair, a sweet smile was carved on her face, and both of her ears looked pointed, the largest was a boy with gray hair, his smile was just as beautiful, a pair of fox ears could be seen on top of his head, his tail wagged happily, the smallest was a little girl with the shortest height among the others, her brownish green hair was neatly braided, she ran trying to catch up with the others, and the last was a blond-haired boy, his blue eyes shone when the sunlight illuminated him, he raised a wooden sword directed at luminor.

But the happiness of the four little children suddenly stopped when they realized their father brought other children back home, they stopped before their father, they looked at malakar and andin.

Malakar introduced them all to each other, meanwhile from inside the wooden house, a woman with snow-white hair casually walked out, she walked toward her children and husband.

Alex slowly chuckled seeing the happy family, a voice sounded again in alex and krystal’s ears "how do you feel? How are you after knowing we are descendants of gods and goddesses...?"

Alex let out a sigh, he became calmer after seeing how the first dragon king was created, he felt there was nothing left in the world that could shock him anymore, the voice chuckled and whispered into alex and krystal’s ears.

"The gods and goddesses gave birth to their respective descendants, unfortunately their descendants were not blessed with their divinity and holy energy..."

Alex scratched his forehead "...unlike themselves who became the source of holy energy, nor like the mystical creatures who were created and given holy energy by the gods and goddesses"

Alex’s face turned expressionless, his gaze focused on the snow-white-haired woman ’athika huh....? Her face still can’t be seen....damn’

Alex’s left hand suddenly trembled, it came from krystal’s grip, alex turned toward her, his black eyes widened, he saw krystal covering her mouth with her left hand, tears falling from her black eyes.

Alex swallowed hard, he let out a sigh ’that’s true too...krystal was sent by athika to become my guide, of course if that’s athika-’ alex suddenly fell silent for a moment, he remembered again the event that shocked him.

He now looked at krystal seriously ’is krystal a mystical creature?’ Silence enveloped the two of them, even the sound of krystal’s crying could not be heard.

The two of them finally walked away from the small house filled with happiness, they leaned against a large rock near the forest, the warm small house was still visible in their sight.

Alex and krystal did not speak at all, slowly the sky changed colors rapidly, one day passed, while alex and krystal only froze in place, after that two days passed, three days passed, slowly dozens of days until thousands of days finally passed.

Alex and krystal only watched the warm house slowly become larger, several other houses appeared in later times, some happiness was born from the warm area, and some sadness also came to complete it.

After an unknown amount of time, finally a settlement was created from the descendants of gods and goddesses, perhaps it was their first settlement.

Athika and luminor were still among them, they accompanied the growth of their descendants’ generations, they were present at every birth of new life and every disappearance of life.

Everything looked happy, they enjoyed the days they lived as if tomorrow did not exist, while alex and krystal only watched in silence, they could no longer count the nights and days changing.

But on a day that should have been the same as the others, a great change happened. From inside the forest, the sound of heavy deer footsteps was heard, alex and krystal turned toward the sound.

From there killin whom they had seen hundreds of years ago finally appeared again, he had not changed, but his body had become larger and more majestic.

The figure riding him was also still the same, his face still glowed, his bright red hair swayed with every step of killin.

What differed was that now dozens of killins followed them from behind like a herd, several of those killins were ridden by strange masked figures, they did not wear proper clothes, they only wore a piece of cloth to cover the parts that needed covering, white lines were painted circling their bodies.

They seemed to be migrating, and they did not notice alex and krystal watching them, they eventually settled in the same area as athika, luminor, their descendants and the dragons.

Two years passed, at that time the sky was orange when another figure appeared from inside the forest, the figure was a woman with a staff in her hand, the woman wore a black robe, her face glowed making alex and krystal unable to see her face.

Alex and krystal looked at each other, they felt something familiar, but a warm breeze distracted them, hundreds of shadows passed them causing them to look toward the orange sky.

There, hundreds of phoenix birds flew as if migrating, their white feathers reflected the orange light.

Alex and krystal could only be mesmerized, they continued watching the flock of phoenixes flying toward athika and luminor’s place.

Ten years later when the sunlight was at its highest point, endless earthquakes occurred throughout the entire day, birds flew away from the forest.

Alex and krystal turned again, their eyes froze, the endless earthquakes came from dozens of giants stomping through the forest, they walked in formation, their heads touched the hard-to-reach sky, while on top of their heads small groups of figures formed as if riding atop the giants’ heads.

Alex scratched his forehead, he had once seen a familiar giant, but its condition was very different from what he remembered.

The giants eventually settled in the vast savanna, they existed among the increasingly crowded settlement. And it would grow even more crowded because years afterward dozens of other groups arrived with diverse appearances.

And the last to arrive was a woman with thick waist-length hair, alex and krystal tilted their heads, they did not know the color of her hair, the woman wore a black blindfold.

With every step she took, a sound accompanied her.

Cling...

Cling...

Cling...

Dozens of furry figures followed the woman from behind, the closest to her was the white-colored one, the figure wore a white mask, at the eye area of the mask there were protrusions, beside the mask’s eyes two bells were attached, while its fangs were visible along with the tongue of the mask hanging out.

Its body which was nearly three meters tall made it slightly hunch over, both its long hands and legs moved slowly, two bells were also attached to both wrists of the white furry figure, and black-and-white checkered cloth wrapped around its body.

The white furry figure moved closer to the woman in front of him "lord....I think we don’t need to join them in that cramped place..."

The woman with the blindfold sneered, she did not turn when speaking "you think you can face his madness? Do you want to become one of the fallen?"

The masked figure fell silent, he no longer spoke, and neither did the other masked figures who only walked following behind.

A voice sounded again after hundreds of days passed following the arrival of the last group "do you know something that could make gods and goddesses who can create life have to crowd together in one place...?"

Alex and krystal fell silent, they looked at each other, until finally the voice continued "look to the south..."

Alex and krystal followed the voice’s instructions, their black eyes widened, their bodies felt something unpleasant, because the sky that should have been blue had turned blood red.

And there, a giant figure appeared. A black figure covering the blood-red sky, the figure kept walking, with every step it took, life turned into death, and behind it, millions of black creatures followed as if unwilling to be left behind.

In the blood-red sky seven black figures also flew with a pair of horns on their heads.

The scale alex and krystal saw could not be compared, because what they were seeing now was the root of disaster.

A voice sounded in alex and krystal’s ears "ahh your view isn’t clear enough huh?" A sigh was heard "then I’ll find the best seat for you"

Alex and krystal did not understand what the voice was talking about, but in the next blink of an eye, the two of them had already moved.

A strong wind hit the two of them, their hair and clothes swayed violently, the smell of blood entered their noses mixed with the scent of the forest.

They were now in the middle of the border between the blue sky and the blood-red sky, the two of them looked down where two massive armies faced each other.

The contrast was very clear as if they were destined to clash, slowly from the side filled with life, dozens of massive white figures appeared, their bodies reached the blue sky and covered it, their forms made the giants look like children.

Their bodies were just as large as the black figures on the opposite side.

Alex and krystal’s hairs stood on end, they could not bear to look at the contrast before them, their hearts felt ready to explode just by being amidst all of it.

From the part beneath the blue sky thousands of lights shone with various colors from the gods and mystical creatures, the phoenixes flew toward the darkness that was also approaching.

Their silver light released white flames that seemed capable of purifying anything, but before the darkness their silver light dimmed as if it had never existed, the painful cries of the phoenixes became a terrible beginning for those under the blue sky.

Darkness swallowed almost all the phoenixes, but athika and luminor saved several of them, the current of darkness attacked them again, the giants with their brown holy energy led this time, the earth trembled with every step they took.

Alex and krystal could only remain silent watching what was before them, the sky split several times, mortal descendants of gods and goddesses were swept away by darkness before they could even scream, giant holes gaped open at several points, mountains flew like cotton, and half the gods died that day.

The skies changed, another war occurred, this time the massive black figure was no longer alone, behind it dozens of other massive figures appeared, they were gods who had fallen, among their ranks were also fallen mystical creatures.

Dozens of wars occurred, and in those wars the gods became increasingly cornered, they fell one by one in every war which made the army of darkness become more complete.

Until in the end only athika and luminor remained, they were forced to bring their descendants into war, even young dragons joined even if only to deliver their own lives.

Rain fell beneath thick gray clouds that day, thousands of humans, elves, beastmen, and dwarves stood beneath the rain, their bodies and weapons were pierced by the raindrops, no sound came from their ranks, but their heads never bowed.

In another line the remaining mystical creatures stood, those abandoned by their masters gathered at the gods’ final protection, hundreds of reasons united them all, they wanted to avenge their masters.

Athika and luminor were also present, they shone brighter than all the others, their bodies became wet from the rainwater, they held each other’s hands.

The earth began to tremble when the army of darkness appeared by splitting apart the mountains blocking them, dozens of massive black figures now stood accompanying them.

Endless war cries echoed as if they were certain of victory.

The gray clouds pouring rain slowly churned, in the middle between the armies, the gray clouds began disappearing forming a giant circle.

Sunlight illuminated the ground once the gray clouds vanished, silence occurred between both armies, all of them looked toward the sky where a massive hole appeared amidst the rainclouds.

Alex and krystal also gazed at the beauty of sunlight amidst the rain, until wind swept across everyone standing on the ground.

The wind grew stronger causing everyone to cover their faces, from the hole a giant claw could be seen gripping the clouds.

The wind became even stronger hitting all of them as the head of a giant black dragon emerged from the hole in the sky, its neck blocked the sunlight from before, the giant black dragon’s head pointed toward the armies of darkness.

The giant black dragon opened its mouth, its roar sounded so powerful it shattered the ground beneath the armies of darkness, the giant black dragon slowly emerged from the hole created in the sky, the overwhelming wind swept away the front lines of the mortal army.

The giant black dragon moved as if it did not care about its surroundings, it was like a dragon descending from heaven to punish darkness.

Red light enveloped the giant black dragon, it opened its mouth, black flames rained upon the armies of darkness, those struck immediately turned to ash.

The giant black dragon did not stop, it continued flying toward the giant black figures, while the armies of darkness turned to ash began returning to their original forms as if nothing had happened.

Luminor raised his hand toward the sky, his hand seemed to reach the gray clouds, the rain that had been pouring water now stopped, and in its place, millions of swords of light fell heavily to rain upon the armies of darkness, those struck were immediately annihilated and could not return again.

The mortal armies shouted, they raised their weapons toward the sky.

"SUPPORT MALAKAR!!"

The dragons roared in response, they flapped their wings rapidly as if they would never return again, and the remaining mystical creatures prepared themselves, they drove their holy energy, but this time their holy energy seemed mixed with rage, they struggled to control it and chose to crash into the armies of darkness being showered by millions of swords of light.

The sounds of destruction never stopped for days, athika supported and blessed them, the only thing stopping them was death and becoming one of the fallen.

Alex covered his mouth, he had become speechless, he kept being carried within a current of history he did not understand ’what is saint azara trying to show? The secret of saints? The secret of holy energy? Us being descendants of gods...’

Alex looked at the endless horror, the beauty that once enveloped the warm small house had disappeared, they might never return to the warm house again ’damn...that darkness is more worrying...’

Alex already knew how it would end. His current existence, the existence of the civilization developing now was the result of those who fought throughout history, but he was curious about athika’s end, whom he thought he met after death, deep in his heart he still asked the same thing every time he breathed in his new world ’why me? What can I do if a war like this happens again?’

Unfortunately, alex and krystal could not see the end of what they witnessed, the world slowly turned white, alex and krystal stood upon a white floor.

A voice sounded again for alex and krystal "did you enjoy the true fairy tale...?" Alex and krystal remained silent "in the end many of us forgot the original tale...."

"They forgot the mystical creatures who possessed holy energy, they forgot the struggle of the gods and goddesses, they forgot some of the others who continued fighting in their own wars..."

A sigh came from the voice "but all of that can be understood....because saints came when the world needed them, their holy energy became protection for thousands of years..."

Alex and krystal listened carefully, they did not try to ask questions because their minds had already been worn down.

"However, now we are at a turning point....the appearance of alex sander as the second user of holy energy among mortal beings can change the direction of history forever...."

Alex looked at krystal from the side, they were still covered in dried mud and unhealed wounds "fortunately his uniqueness does not stop there, because the source of alex sander’s holy energy is a mysterious figure who shares a soul with him..."

The voice fell silent for several moments before finally speaking again "but I will no longer call her a mysterious figure, because now I am certain. Krystal is a mystical creature..."

Krystal turned toward alex, a bright smile slowly formed on her face, she proudly boasted about herself to alex.

"Unlike a saint who can only use their holy energy against demons....krystal can use her holy energy anytime and it remains effective against demonic energy..."

Krystal nodded proudly "but unfortunately she has not reached the stage where she can become a meaningful threat..." alex covered his mouth almost laughing, krystal gritted her teeth and hit him.

A sigh came from the voice "in that case, let us begin the next step..."

Alex and krystal looked at each other, they were confused after hearing the voice, but they could not react to anything.

The white room slowly burned, alex and krystal looked in every direction, the floor they stood upon now began burning causing both their feet to char as well.

Alex carried krystal because she wore no footwear, their screams were muted because their voices could not be heard.

The burning floor slowly melted, the two of them fell downward, hot wind immediately burned their skin, their mouths opened but no screams were heard.

Alex tried opening his eyes, every liquid inside his body began boiling, his black eyes reflected a raging sea of lava as if ready to receive them at any moment.

The currents of lava screamed calling them, the sun could clearly be seen staring at them as if trying to support the two of them falling.

Alex gritted his teeth, he looked everywhere searching for an opening, his heart pounded rapidly as if it would burst at any moment ’damn, where is this? What the hell is this?!’ His face showed despair, the burning pain he suffered felt extremely real making him worried ’damn cat!!’

Alex hugged krystal tightly, he whimpered soundlessly, he did not dare look at the raging sea of lava below, a voice sounded again in his ears, a voice only krystal could hear.

"What are you doing...?"

Krystal’s black eyes widened, the voice sounded emotional "do you want to die?! Do you want alex to die?!"

Krystal swallowed her dried saliva, the voice screamed in her ears again.

"SHOW YOUR TRUE FORM!! SAVE YOUR SOUL HALF!!"

Krystal closed her eyes, while alex kept thinking of doing something, but his thoughts halted when krystal’s body released golden light.

Krystal gritted her teeth, she took a deep breath, time slowly stopped after her exhale.

Her closed eyes slowly saw light, her cheeks felt a touch as soft as silk, krystal tried opening her eyes, she saw a woman with long snow-white hair, she could not clearly see her face, but she could see the movement of her lips and hear her voice.

"You must become a good guide for him..."

"...he gave you a good name..."

"Fly....and show your wings to the world..."

Krystal opened her eyes, the hot wind still struck her, but something miraculous happened.

On krystal’s back, four gray wings appeared, the wings stretched wide.

Alex who realized it immediately looked at her, his black eyes widened, but it did not last long because something else drew his attention, above krystal’s head appeared a glowing ring.

Alex looked at krystal’s face causing them to look at each other, krystal smiled brightly, she opened her mouth, her voice could now be heard "Look!! I’m the best guide!!"

Alex wanted to answer krystal but krystal threw him upward, she flapped her wings once and passed alex while grabbing his hand.

Alex was lifted together with krystal who flew, alex could clearly see krystal’s brightly shining figure, he also saw her four gray wings ’why are they gray? Why not white instead?’

A voice sounded again for both of them "burn all your holy energy krystal...release everything you have and destroy my personal world..."

Krystal gritted her teeth, she released all the holy energy she possessed, her golden light began challenging the sun, their lights clashed for several moments until finally the sun sank.

The space surrounding krystal and alex began cracking, after the cracks became uncontrollable, the room shattered into glass fragments.

Alex and krystal were now back within darkness, and they finally stood once again upon the black floor.

Alex bent both knees on the floor, his chest rose and fell, his breathing was ragged, he swallowed hard.

Meanwhile krystal jumped around excitedly, she kept looking at her four gray wings and tried touching the glowing ring above her head.

Slowly before them, a golden light appeared forming the figure they wanted to curse.

Saint azara appeared before them, a wide smile was carved on her face, she pinched her short white skirt with her right hand, while her left hand held her own stomach.

She slightly lowered her head toward alex and krystal.

"Welcome....krystal the angel."
