Chen Changsheng thought for a long time, then raised his hand and began to calculate.

After the calculation, he frowned strangely.

“How could it be like this?”

Chen Changsheng thought about it and felt very strange.

Prince Yu Yan Yan was actually not alive anymore.

Chen Changsheng lifted his head and looked at the trembling City God in front of him, then said, “City God, step forward a bit—I wish to see the mark in your Sea of Consciousness.”

The City God naturally dared not refuse and came forward.

Chen Changsheng raised his hand, and his Soul Spirit entered the City God’s Sea of Consciousness.

Inside the Sea of Consciousness, he first saw a field of incense Golden Light. Going deeper, he saw an orchid and bamboo mark hanging within.

Chen Changsheng looked closely and then understood.

“This Prince Yu, he truly…”

Chen Changsheng could not help but shake his head and smile, then he left the City God’s Sea of Consciousness.

The City God quickly asked, “Celestial Immortal, that mark…”

Chen Changsheng said, “All these years, have you not tried to remove that mark?”

The City God opened his mouth and said, “Celestial Immortal, with my tiny bit of incense, how could I dare?”

Chen Changsheng said, “That so-called mark was just him scaring you; it could not take your life at all.”

The City God paused, murmuring to himself, “Could not take my life?”

He came to himself and asked, “So the mark really…”

Chen Changsheng said, “If you do not believe, you can try right now.”

The City God opened his mouth but still seemed uncertain.

Chen Changsheng ignored him and just said, “You let that evil ghost eat people. By rights, you should not be forgiven. Though you were forced, as a City God you showed no courage and forgot your duty. This time, I will take a hundred years of your incense; do you disagree?”

After hearing this, the City God felt shocked. He opened his mouth and said, “C-Celestial Immortal, I-I have not even been in office a hundred years yet, so…”

Qingshan City itself had not existed for a hundred years yet, and the same was true for the City God Temple.

After listening, Chen Changsheng realized, “I nearly forgot.”

He took a glance and saw the City God’s incense was truly small. If it decreased more, this City God likely could not defeat even a little demon.

After thinking softly for a long time, Chen Changsheng raised his hand and touched a point on the City God’s forehead.

The City God paused and quickly asked, “Celestial Immortal, what is this…?”

“Sword Qi mark.”

Chen Changsheng said, “Prince Yu’s was fake; mine is real. Keep your little incense. If such things happen again in the future, and you avoid them out of fear and cowardice, before others act, I will finish you first.”

After hearing this, the City God wanted to cry but had no tears. Still, he bowed and said, “Thank you for forgiving me, Celestial Immortal.”

Simply put, he was beaten but had to say thanks.

And he could not help but accept it.

Chen Changsheng turned to look at the evil ghost and said, “As for that evil ghost?”

The City God said quickly, “I will deal with it.”

Chen Changsheng nodded. Then he saw the City God take a group of Yin Attendants to lead the evil ghost back to the City God Temple.

After the Manor of Prince Yu settled down,

Chen Changsheng turned and walked into the Main Hall. His eyes again looked at the painting.

He reached out and touched it, breaking the Seal. Then he saw the image of Prince Yu on the painting suddenly change.

The Prince Yu painting became a scenery picture. In the painting, everywhere were orchids and green bamboo, a lake, and a three-story White Pagoda.

Chen Changsheng’s Divine Sense was pulled by the painting.

To Chen Changsheng, the force of the painting on his Divine Sense felt like a tickle.

“It turned out to be a Magical Artifact.”

Chen Changsheng let his Divine Sense go and went inside the Scroll Painting.

He seemed to stand in a cave made of ink and water colors. What he saw was all black and white, apart from that White Pagoda.

Chen Changsheng looked all around and murmured to himself, “Prince Yu actually had style—bamboo and orchids; besides the painting, his mark was of those two things too.”

After taking a quick glance around, his eyes fell on the White Pagoda.

He reached the bottom of the White Pagoda.

Chen Changsheng was about to push the door and go in.

But suddenly, he heard a sound from behind.

“Is that a Yan family descendant come here?”

Chen Changsheng turned and saw a pale-faced scholar standing behind him.

The scholar had a few bamboo leaves tangled in his hair ends. His face looked gentle, but he spread a feel of Demonic Power.

Chen Changsheng put his hands together and said, “I am not a Yan family descendant. I only came by this way to look.”

The scholar paused after hearing this and said, “You really got in by yourself then?”

Chen Changsheng asked, “Can only Yan family people enter this Bamboo and Orchid Scroll Painting?”

The scholar nodded and said, “It seems you are no Mortal.”

Chen Changsheng agreed, saying, “I have a little skill, but weak power.”

“Immortal Elder, you are being modest.”

The scholar said, “But this place was left by my Master for his heirs. Since Immortal Elder has seen it already, please leave.”

Chen Changsheng shook his head and said, “I heard three parts of Imperial Dragon Qi are hidden in this Scroll Painting. From outside, it does not seem to be there, but I have not yet seen inside the Pagoda.”

The scholar laughed and said, “Immortal Elder jokes; how could the Son of Heaven’s Qi be found so easily?”

Chen Changsheng said, “After I go into the tower and see, I will know.”

“What if it is not there?”

“If it is not, I will personally say sorry.”

The scholar shook his head and said, “What good is saying sorry? By what I suggest: if it is there, I will take a sword strike from Immortal Elder. If it is not, Immortal Elder will take a sword strike from me—how is that?”

After hearing this, Chen Changsheng paused strangely, then smiled and said, “That will do.”

“Good.”

The scholar raised his hand, and the White Pagoda door opened with a sound.

“Immortal Elder, step in.”

“Step in.”

Chen Changsheng walked forward inside.

Inside the tower, he saw much golden yellow and silver white first. The first floor of the White Pagoda was piled high with gold, silver, and treasures.

Little hill after little hill sat before his eyes.

Seeing this, Chen Changsheng said, “Does your Master like these yellow and white things?”

The scholar said, “They are for his heirs.”

Chen Changsheng nodded, then went toward the second floor. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Going up the steps, the view of the second floor slowly came before him.

He saw many shelves inside. On the walls, shelves, and floor hung or lay blades, spears, and halberds—all very fine weapons, no exceptions.

With a quick look, likely there were several thousand.

Chen Changsheng’s eyes swept over those weapons. At last, his feet stopped at the center spot of the second floor tower.

Before him lay a Green Jade-like sword.

Chen Changsheng picked it up to see and asked, “What is this sword named?”

“Bibo Xing,” the scholar said.

“Bibo Xing, Yantao Yin—it is a good sword.”

Chen Changsheng placed it back where it was.

The scholar looked up at the steps to the third floor and said, “Beyond this is the last level. If it is not there, Immortal Elder will likely take a sword strike from me.”

“What have I to fear?”

Chen Changsheng smiled kindly and stepped onto the steps.

“Tap, tap…”

The sound of him walking up rose from the tower.

Chen Changsheng and the scholar arrived at the top floor of the tower.

Here, everywhere were books and scrolls; most of them were about skills and ways to fight, and others were about war plans and people’s lives.

Chen Changsheng lightly raised his brows and stayed quiet.

The scholar smiled and asked, “Well?”
