As Buddha said: ’Shed this foul carcass, hold aloft the sun to gaze upon the rivers. Majestic green waves free of turbidity, a thousand-mile flight across the sky.’

Both Tao and Buddhist schools esteem spiritual supremacy, emphasizing shedding the foul carcass to restore true nature, thus knowing the vast world’s wonders. Yet another saying exists that the physical shell is the vessel of suffering, bearing spirits to the other shore. Without this vessel, the spirit sinks into a sea of suffering. Thus, the physical shell is indispensable.

Hence, evolved the path of Bodily Buddha, Broken Vajra...

During the philosophical discourse, Wang Yuyan seemed even more radiant, speaking eloquently, showcasing a charm distinct from her usual gentle demeanor, appearing confident and captivating. She turned suddenly to Jiang Dali, "Therefore, village chief, I see that this senior Guang Chengzi pursued the simultaneous transcendence of both body and spirit to the other shore. This path is considered slightly inferior to Shattering Void because it is more arduous. One cannot have both the fish and the bear paw; achieving Dao with both shell and spirit is incredibly difficult.

Thus, the path has never been highly esteemed, with scarce textual records, but achieving it undeniably represents a greater success. In my view, the pursuit of Broken Vajra by this senior Guang Chengzi surpasses that of Hero Chuan Ying!"

Xiao Feng, however, spoke first, surprised, raising his hand to ask, "Since this senior Guang Chengzi has ultimately achieved the Great Success of the simultaneous shattering of body and spirit, why does his body remain in this world? Was there something amiss?"
