Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 16: Diana sent him Gifts
As soon as Victor stepped out of the Jet with Rudi resting on his back, his eyes landed on a middle aged man standing beside a sleek black car. The man wore a spotless butler uniform with white gloves and polished shoes. His posture was straight, disciplined, and refined.
The butler opened the rear door with a smooth motion and bowed slightly.
"Please enter, Young Master," he said in a calm and professional tone.
Before Victor could respond, the man turned toward Elyndros and bowed respectfully once more. Elyndros acknowledged him with a simple nod before looking at Victor.
"Everything has already been arranged," Elyndros explained. "There are twelve E Rank dungeons spread across Manhattan City. Entry schedules have been prepared for you, and each dungeon will be available at a specific time. Sebastian will provide all the details."
Victor listened carefully and nodded.
"Understood."
Elyndros gave him one last glance before turning around and leaving without another word. Even though the old man acted casually most of the time, Victor could see just how influential he truly was. Organizing access to twelve dungeons in the capital of the Moon Empire was not something an ordinary person could accomplish overnight.
Victor shifted Rudi slightly on his back before facing the butler.
"Hello. I’m Victor Walker, and this is my elder brother, Rudious Walker. May I know your name?"
The butler bowed politely again.
"My name is Sebastian Rudlof, Young Master."
Victor climbed into the luxurious vehicle while Sebastian closed the door behind him and entered the driver’s seat. The interior of the car was spacious and elegant, with soft leather seats and glowing blue panels embedded into the sides.
As the vehicle started moving, Victor leaned back comfortably.
"Sebastian, give me the dungeon details. Which dungeon is available and at what time?"
Sebastian immediately handed him a neatly organized document.
"Young Master, your schedule was determined based on your previous dungeon clearing records in Black Wind City," he explained patiently. "Out of the twelve dungeons, seven are considered high tier E Rank dungeons, while the remaining five are basic to intermediate level."
Victor skimmed through the paper while Sebastian continued speaking.
"You have been granted two hours of exclusive access for each high tier dungeon. For the lower ranked dungeons, you have one hour each. The schedule and locations are all listed there."
Victor nodded absentmindedly before suddenly narrowing his eyes in thought.
"Sebastian, can I ask you something important?"
"Of course, Young Master."
Victor looked completely serious.
"Were you always named Sebastian and then became a butler? Or did you become a butler first and later change your name to Sebastian?"
The car became silent.
Sebastian blinked several times in visible confusion.
"I beg your pardon, Young Master. I do not believe I understand the question."
Victor sighed dramatically and waved his hand.
"Never mind. I was joking."
For some reason, every butler he had ever encountered was named Sebastian. It honestly felt less like a name and more like a professional title.
While the car traveled through the city, Victor began channeling Healing Water mana into Rudi’s body. The poor boy had experienced too many shocks in a single day, and his body still looked exhausted.
Rudi slept peacefully while the soothing blue mana flowed through his veins.
Victor eventually turned his attention toward the city outside the window.
Manhattan City was beyond anything he had imagined.
Black Wind City had seemed modern to him before, but compared to the capital of the Moon Empire, it looked primitive. Massive skyscrapers pierced through the clouds like steel mountains. Flying vehicles crossed the sky in organized lanes while glowing advertisements floated in the air like holograms.
Victor even spotted robots casually walking alongside humans on the streets.
Then his eyes widened slightly.
A tall man with metallic arms and glowing mechanical eyes walked past one of the intersections.
"A cyborg?" Victor muttered.
He immediately looked toward Sebastian.
"Are cyborgs common here?"
Sebastian nodded.
"Yes, Young Master. Among wealthy families, many people who fail to awaken choose to become cyborgs instead. It allows them to gain combat capabilities comparable to awakened individuals."
Victor became interested.
"How strong can they become?"
"There are cyborgs powerful enough to rival Legendary Rank awakeners," Sebastian replied calmly. "Scientists are currently researching methods to create cyborgs capable of reaching the Epic Rank as well."
Victor’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"There are ranks among cyborgs too?"
"Yes. Similar to natural awakeners, cyborgs possess different classifications and growth paths. Their bodies are usually created using advanced technology combined with monster cores and specialized energy systems."
Victor fell silent after hearing that.
His gaze slowly shifted toward the sleeping Rudi.
If Rudi never awakened naturally, would he choose this path one day?
Would he willingly replace parts of his body to gain strength?
Victor quietly shook his head.
No.
That choice belonged to Rudi alone. He would never force his brother into such a life. If Rudi wanted power badly enough, he would decide for himself in the future.
The ride continued peacefully after that.
Nearly an hour later, the car finally stopped in front of a massive three story building located in one of the busiest districts of Manhattan City.
Victor stepped out of the car and froze briefly.
The building was enormous.
Elegant golden letters were displayed above the entrance while glass walls reflected the surrounding lights of the city. Men and women dressed in professional uniforms stood lined up near the entrance as if they had been waiting for him.
The moment Victor stepped forward, all of them bowed together.
"Welcome, Young Master."
Victor blinked in surprise.
The efficiency of Elyndros was terrifying.
How had the old man managed to arrange all of this so quickly?
Victor maintained a calm expression and simply nodded before entering the building with Rudi beside him.
The ground floor and first floor had been transformed into a fully operational shop filled with advanced equipment and display counters. The second floor, however, was reserved for living quarters.
Rudi quickly chose one of the side rooms while Victor selected the largest room for himself.
The moment he entered, he felt like he had walked into a luxury suite from a seven star hotel.
Soft carpets covered the floor while magical lights illuminated the room with a warm glow. Expensive furniture filled every corner, and the massive bed looked large enough for five people.
Victor exhaled slowly.
"This old man really went all out."
Despite the luxury around him, Victor had no intention of wasting time resting. One of the dungeons on his schedule was currently available, and he planned to begin hunting immediately.
Just as he prepared to leave, a knock sounded from the door.
"Come in," Victor said.
Sebastian entered respectfully while carrying a silver case.
"Young Master, Lady Diana sent these for you."
Victor instantly sat upright.
"What did you say?"
Sebastian placed the case carefully on the table.
"It is a full body protective armor. According to the instructions, it can protect you until you reach the Legendary Rank. There is also a spatial ring included. Lady Diana instructed me to deliver everything personally."
Victor almost jumped from excitement.
Monster dropped equipment usually came with level restrictions. An Apprentice Mage like him could never use a high ranked artifact naturally.
However, wealthy families feared for the safety of their heirs. Because of that, scientists had developed specialized equipment with no level requirements. Anyone could use them regardless of rank.
Victor immediately accepted the gifts.
"Please convey my thanks to Lady Diana."
"Certainly, Young Master."
