"He just one-shot six people without even equipping gear! What the hell is that power?" šš£ššššššš¼šš²š¹.šš š
"They donāt call him the Son of Strength for nothing. He may look like heās only King-tier, but heās stronger than most divine weapons!"
"Rumor has it that the Son of Strengthās attack power rises automatically every single day, his potential even greater than his fatherās."
"With him leading, maybe one day weāll finally shake off the Aurora Goddessās rule!"
In the blink of an eye, the fight was over. Across eleven Infinite Dimensions worlds, millions of spectators were left stunned.
"Attention: The contender from Shadowless World has forfeited!"
"Attention: The contender from Titanium World has forfeited!"
"Attention: The contender from Abyssal Verge World has forfeited!"
Three teams of young elites folded instantly, terrified after hearing what Belenor had done. The adventurers he crushed werenāt just unable to respawnā
their very souls had been devoured by Damironās eerie black scythe.
"My mother is the goddess of souls," Damiron said with a cold smile on his flawless face.
Belenorās entire squad carried godly blood. Each of them was tied to one of the divine beings who had descended upon Earth. Usually, if even one parent was a galactic god, their childrenās talents were outrageous. Their starter class was guaranteed to be at least S-tier. And if both parents were high-tier gods? The bloodline power was monstrous, sometimes awakening far beyond SS-tier into the rare SSR tierājust a step below the mythical 3S talent said to exist only in theory.
Belenor and Damiron had similar origins, but Belenor stood higher. He was one of the rare prodigies among godspawn, born with the SS-tier class [Sacred Son of Strength]. Under his parentsā cultivation, ascending to SSR was only a matter of time.
"Earthlings," Belenor said, raising his hand. "Swear loyalty to me and Iāll spare your lives."
A rift tore open behind him. From it burst the roar of a god-tier astral dragon. He and his companions stood proudly on its back, divine power radiating.
According to Starcup rules, each team could summon only one battle beast, and anything at Lower God rank or higher was prohibited. But even so, a god-tier beast was apocalyptic enough, capable of wiping out an entire Infinite Dimensions nation.
The dragonās rider sneered: "Velorith, like your old master, youāll be nothing but a joke. My claws will tear your head clean off!"
"Ugly worm. Crawl back to your hole."
Velorith spat in dragon-tongue, showing no fear. She and Bradley had slain more than ten such beasts together. If not for the godsā treachery, they would have stood as the strongest duo beneath divinity itself.
"What the hell is he running his mouth for? Acting like weāre supposed to be impressed?"
"Donāt hold me backāIāll drop a Forbidden curse on them right now!" Ethan cursed, staff in hand, wings twitching with rage.
"My young master, please, letās not do anything reckless!" Riven said, exasperated.
"Shut it!" Isla snapped, stepping in before Oliver could. She slapped Ethan across the head and hissed, "If we donāt save my father, Iāll make sure you regret it forever."
"O-okay..." Ethan sucked in breath after breath, trying not to explode. He could fight anyone who hit himābut Isla? His childhood sweetheart? No chance. Losing her would mean his decade-long plan to woo her would go up in smoke.
Raised by Madman and Bone-Eater, running wild with Forever Cityās knights and every rogue he could find, Ethan had learned all the worst habits: flirting, scheming, blowing stuff up. Anything but discipline.
Unlike Belenorās squad, most of the Godslayer descendants werenāt born with insane bloodlines. Their S-tier classes were earned through quests, not inheritance, and while that gave them grit, they couldnāt match divine prodigies in raw talent.
"Forget them," Riven said. "Letās take that King-tier lizard down on the slope. Weāll secure a sniperās perch for DoomBringer."
Aaron, the stoic knight, just nodded. Summoning his Forbidden Magic halberd, he vaulted off Velorithās back.
Through the broken brush stirred a massive fire drake. Its eyes blazed as it let loose a torrent of flame.
Aaron didnāt flinch. His shield, the Forbidden Magic \[Roaring Tempest], slammed into the dirt, wind-walls spinning up to swallow the blaze. Then he angled it forward, reflecting the toxic smoke and fire right back.
The drake shrieked, staggering. Rivenās twin blades flashed, stabbing into its eyes, twisting to cripple. Isla followed, her twin sabers merging into a lightning-fast V-shaped slash that hacked its limbs apart.
"Open fire!" Ethan crowed, wings flaring. He hovered above, laughing like a maniac, his staff spitting spell after spell.
"Awakening: Dragonās Flame Touch!"
"Awakening: Stormfeather Blades!"
"Awakening: Bloodburst Waltz!"
Six S-tier spells detonated in succession. The slope vanished in the storm. The drake, already shredded, disintegrated into raw particles.
The rest of the team could only stare.
"Chloeāuh, I mean, Isla... Did you see that?" Ethan grinned like an idiot, eyebrows wiggling.
"I swear to the heavens, why did I bring this moron?" Riven groaned. Their perfect sniper spot? Obliterated. Their position? Exposed to half the arena.
Isla clenched her teeth. "He has to be brain-damaged."
"Over there! The Earth team!"
"Theyāre nothing but vermin. Lord Belenor came here just to crush these Earth-born insects. Kill them, and the rewards are ours!"
From above, a team from Galehowl World spotted the chaos, swooping down on a god-tier wyrm. Other squads, catching wind, surged toward the scene.
The alliance of eleven worlds was fragile at best. To them, Earthās adventurers werenāt alliesāthey were outcasts. Godslayerās truce with them was temporary, and everyone knew it.
"Move!" Oliver barked, face darkening. He sensed the incoming threat and shouted at Ethan.
"Huh? Whatās the big deal?" Ethan blinked.
Oliverās eyes narrowed. Four pairs of radiant wings unfurled, holy light blazing. Then, his features twisted. The white drained from his eyes, leaving only black. A jagged demonic crown appeared above his brow.
With titan-forged arms bracing his bow, Oliver pulled to full draw. One arrow split into a hundred, shrieking like banshees as they tore through the sky.
A storm of magic bolts annihilated four separate Forbidden spells in midair.
"Holy crap, youāre insane!" Ethan gasped, giving a thumbs-up.
Oliver drew a breath to scold himāwhen a cold voice whispered from behind.
"Iāve waited for you, Earthās divine archer... Oliver."
He spun. But all he saw was a fist.
The stars shook.
Earth trembled on the edge of annihilation.
