Tenmaru widened his eyes at his hand. His entire was bitten off, only the wrist was left. But there it was, the shape of a palm.

"What... What happened to me?" Tenmaru mumbled.

"I guided you to your destiny." Carter giggled. "You will meet the Werewolf sooner or later. I only made it happen faster. That thing... The power it possessed. It is unimaginable. And now, it is inside you."

Tenmaru gasped. He repeated what the Werewolf last said to him, "A gift..."

"Correct. So please accept my apology for deceiving you. I know you will face it. I know you will be injured. But I also know you won’t die.

Because your future was to become the Emperor of Arashi."

Carter was lying, of course. But he was also not. It didn’t matter what Fate had arranged for this world. Because he was here. And he could change the trajectory of this world.

If he said Tenmaru would be the next Emperor, then he must be.

’I need someone to look after my world when I’m gone after all. The three leaders managed Eldritch Arms. Delilah is my spokesperson in Corrupted Corps. And now, Tenmaru will be the Emperor.’

"Go. Rest. Musashi would be here soon." Carter said.

Tenmaru nodded.

"Damn, girl! You like some sort of mastermind." Chiaki said. "You played with everyone."

"I just followed what Fate arranged." Carter said.

Chiaki was actually right.

Seija helped bring the large obsidian boulder into the Shrine. The mercenary had also finished fixing up the building.

This place was a proper religious structure now. The only thing it lacked was a divine statue.

- Shrine Construction: You may choose a building and turn it into a Shrine. In this Shrine, you may construct a maximum of three Divine Statues. These statues must be of real supernatural beings. People that worshiped these statues may ask for their aid and received a portion of their power. The beings in question must agree to lend their power for this effect to activate.

With the power of Shrine Construction, Carter picked the current building as the Shrine. Suddenly, a certain mystery shrouded the place. It was the same but not the same. The building felt holier, more mysterious, and the power of Fate spread to each corner.

Carter could build three Divine Statues and borrow their power. These statues must be a real supernatural beings. Carter wasn’t going to build a statue of some random god.

He wanted to build a statue for himself. Or more precisely, for the Eldritch Knight. That was why he was hyping him up and building more lore into Zeneros Blackburn.

"The Unnamed... It’s time for you to receive a place to stay."

Carter activated his ability.

Chiaki and a few others were sneakily watching everything. Carter sensed them but he pretended to not be aware.

The large obsidian boulder cracked. It carved itself. Debris of obsidian fell to the ground.

And there it was, the statue of the four wings Dark Angle. The statue of Zeneros Blackburn when he used the Monster Beneath.

But there was something missing. It didn’t have faith to make it powerful. If Carter continued with this path, he needed to make everyone in this world knew about the Unnamed and worshiped him.

That would take years. Even decades.

Carter had other plans. The golden Aether Seed appeared in his hand.

"Let the power of the Gold Stream flow through you, The Unnamed."

In front of everyone’s eyes, a shiny golden sphere flew from the Shrine Maiden and into the obsidian statue.

[The Gold Stream is planted]

[WARNING]

[The Gold Stream is mutating]

[The Gold Stream has changed into Golden Skeleton]

[Zeneros Blackburn gains Golden Ressurection]

- Golden Resurrection: Whenever you are killed, you shall be resurrected back to the location of your Golden Skeleton. The Golden Skeleton must have enough faith to complete this process.

Zeneros Blackburn wasn’t a god before. But he was now.

Golden Resurrection ensured Carter couldn’t die while wearing Zeneros Blackburn skin. He needed enough faith to be resurrected obviously. And the Golden Skeleton could still be destroyed so he wasn’t immortal... Yet.

The obsidian statue spread out a divine aura that made the people outside trembled.

"He really is... a god." Tenmaru breathed heavily.

Koji was much more religious than him. He knelt down right away.

"God cannot be disrespected." Koji bowed.

Chiaki and the other mercenaries did the same.

"Come in. You don’t need to keep sneaking out there." The maiden’s voice echoed. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

The people outside were embarrassed but they entered.

Chiaki, Koji, and the Masuhara Clan knelt and did a proper ceremonial bowing to the statue.

Tenmaru, as a prince himself who said was the offspring of god, didn’t kneel. No royalty members could kneel in front of any god.

"You’re not going to kneel to him?" Carter asked.

"I... The Arashi Royalty can’t never worship a god." Tenmaru said.

"Maybe. I just thought that you may his help."

Carter’s words echoed in Tenmaru’s head. His father was killed. His big brother claimed a Kingdom because of the people’s loyalty to the first son. His big sister claimed a Kingdom because of the loyalty to the first child. Busujima Hakka claimed a Kingdom because of his intelligence. Oda Yushin used military might. Tengo Ryuja used his personal power and cruelty.

As for Tenmaru, he had nothing. He wasn’t the strongest, or smartest, or oldest. He also didn’t have any loyal subjects left.

If kneeling before a god was what he must do, then he would do it.

Tenmaru inhaled then knelt down. Everyone looked at him.

"Denka..." Chiaki said.

"I, Tenseitama Shinno Denka of the Arashi Empire, kneels before you, the Unnamed." Then he bowed.

Carter secretly smirked inside his mind. ’Yes, that’s right. Believe in me. And I will give you everything.’

Zeneros Blackburn was having a reaction. The skin heard Tenseitama’s prayer. And Carter used it to answer.

He secretly put his hand behind him, calling forth the power of the Golden Skeleton.

’What do you want, my child?’ Zeneros Blackburn’s voice echoed.

Tenmaru widened his eyes. He couldn’t believe the statue was answering.

"I want power!" He shouted.

’Then you shall have it.’ The statue replied.

Feathers shot out from the Obsidian Statue and wrapped around Tenmaru.
