The Giant Arm, a type of Mutated Zombie, can use weapons, which means its combat effectiveness is completely different when it’s armed versus unarmed. Naturally, the weapon’s quality also affects its combat power.

According to the observers, the Giant Arm from the Industrial Park was holding a steel pillar over 10 meters long. Judging by its shape, it was likely the support strut from a small spacecraft and was incredibly hard and sturdy.

With such a "good weapon" in hand, this Giant Arm’s combat power would undoubtedly rise to another level. On top of that, there was also a Spitter that could send it into a berserk state. Actually fighting it probably wouldn’t be much easier than dealing with a Death Claw.

As for the last one, the Blood Worm, it was the most troublesome of the four Mutated Zombies.

Next, they had an incredibly powerful bite, enough to chew through special-grade Alloy.

In other words, it wasn’t safe even hiding inside an Armored Vehicle or a Mecha.

Finally, and most importantly, this Mutated Zombie known as the Blood Worm could incubate an astonishing 100,000 Blood-colored Beetles inside its body.

If they were surrounded by these Blood-colored Beetles, the entire Mercenary Corps could be annihilated.

Therefore, after listening to the intelligence report, the upper echelons of the Heaven-Sundering Mercenary Corps were all considering a retreat.

Lin Xinghai was powerful, but facing such a huge number of Blood-colored Beetles wasn’t a problem that sheer power could solve. "You can take care of it that fast?" Fang Tianhe asked, surprised.

"No problem," Lin Xinghai said confidently. "Actually, the only really tough one is the Giant Arm. The rest—the Hunter, the Spitter, and the Blood Worm—all have fairly average Defense Power. Once I get in close, two shots will be enough to finish them."

"Besides, this isn’t like back in Changping City. These Mutated Zombies haven’t summoned a horde, so my Speed won’t be restricted."

Hearing this, Fang Tianhe and the others couldn’t help but nod.

It was true. The situation they faced was completely different when a Mutated Zombie summoned a horde versus when it didn’t.

At that moment, the Spitter also moved. The buildings blocked its line of sight, preventing it from attacking the Mechas directly, but it could use its venom on its allies first.

It spat mouthful after mouthful of venom, which splattered on the ground in front of the Blood-colored Beetles. As the beetles scuttled through it, they were coated in the venom and sent into a berserk rage.

Each Blood-colored Beetle let out a high-pitched screech. The blood-red color on their carapaces even began to flow as if it were fresh blood.

The Blood Worm and Spitter weren’t the only ones on the move. The Hunter had also started to advance, trailing behind the swarm of Blood-colored Beetles and stealthily making its way toward Lin Xinghai’s group.

It, too, passed through the pools of venom and entered a berserk state.

This was the first time Lin Xinghai had seen a Hunter enter a berserk state.

Just as he had expected, its Speed nearly doubled. According to the detector display, its current Speed had reached 3841 points, almost matching his own when he used his Superpower.

His eyes narrowed at the sight. A Hunter in this state was terrifying.

He knew that while Hunters were glass cannons, their Attack Power was nothing to scoff at. His own Speed was no less than its, so he had no reason to be afraid, but it was a different story for Fang Tianhe and Shen Han.

If this Hunter was smart enough to use hit-and-run tactics, Fang Tianhe and Shen Han would be completely on the defensive, unable to fight back.
