Chapter 1861: Chapter 1857: A Woman’s Jealousy

In the back hall of the Great Cold Sect, Ye Fan continued his cultivation.

The main purpose of this cultivation was to understand the principle behind the Great Cold Sect disciples’ accelerated cultivation, and temporarily apply it to his own practice.

Although this was like pulling up seedlings to help them grow, Ye Fan felt it was necessary to reactivate the elemental power within his body to enter the Pan Gu secret realm.

The women involved in his cultivation as the cauldron, apart from Ming Ye and Bing Xuan, included two others—a female disciple who had just reached the Golden Core Stage named Bing Ting, and Song Mei, the Sect Master of the Great Cold Sect. Bing Ting and Bing Xuan were considered to be sister disciples, though Bing Xuan had a much higher cultivation. Bing Ting’s cultivation appeared relatively low.

At first, Ye Fan practiced independently, without interacting with these women. But as he finished his cultivation and stood up with open eyes, Ming Ye approached him.

"Ye Fan, this way of cultivating is pointless. You’re only torturing yourself. Forcing yourself so hard to regain power is virtually self-destructive!" said Ming Ye.

Ye Fan’s eyes were bloodshot as he regarded Ming Ye. "Isn’t what I’m doing exactly what you want to see? With my death, you can attain freedom. You should be grateful that I’m making this choice!"

Ming Ye shook her head helplessly, clearly unwilling to argue further. Ignoring her, Ye Fan looked towards Song Mei in the distance and shouted sternly: "What are you waiting for? From now on, I will use you and your disciples as my cauldron for cultivation. Come here!"

His command carried such authority that Song Mei, intimidated by Ye Fan’s powerful aura, momentarily trembled, but she walked slowly towards him, stopping about a meter away. It was evident she cared about her dignity and didn’t want to show any fear before Ye Fan.

But Ye Fan wasn’t letting her off easily. He closed his eyes and said, "If you didn’t hear my words, it means the Great Cold Sect becomes history today. Do you wish to continue opposing me?"

At her final two steps, Song Mei seemed unable to move forward, yet she eventually approached Ye Fan. She didn’t lift her head to look at him, so close she had no escape. Ye Fan reached out, lifting her chin slightly to reveal a mature, charming face.

Although Ye Fan intended to use Song Mei as a cauldron for cultivation, the process was one of possession and dominance—and not only did he require the submission of her spiritual energy, but also her body’s full subservience.

Ye Fan scrutinized Song Mei, saying: "Your cultivation level, around the Divinity Transformation Stage, is quite an accomplishment within a hundred years, even in the Pan Gu secret realm. But alas, because you show post-tribulation abilities, you’ve lost the pathway to ascend. Your only next step is trying ascension—you’ll face certain destruction by Heavenly Tribulation without any hope of success!"

"So what? It’s merely the destiny of our Great Cold Sect disciples!" Song Mei replied.

Ye Fan touched Song Mei’s cheek, then his hand moved down her neck. She closed her eyes, as Ye Fan spared her no dignity at all, being a conqueror determined to strip away all pride.

Ye Fan made no further move but circled behind Song Mei, exerting stronger pressure from an angle unseen by her.

Bing Xuan and Bing Ting approached from two directions, arriving beside Ye Fan, while Ming Ye stood furthest away, unsure about joining him. Ye Fan’s focus now fully rested on Song Mei.

"The cultivation of your Great Cold Sect has always been a deception. I want to help you, yet any assistance is merely an attempt. Perhaps I could transform your bodies to regain ascension potential, but whether you complete your cultivation within a lifetime is up to you..."

As Ye Fan concluded his remarks, Song Mei was unguarded. Ye Fan assumed the role of hunter, ready to savor his prey.

Song Mei closed her eyes, feeling complex and indescribable, as if her spirit crumbled, indifferent to the situation. She let Ye Fan do as he wished, aware of the futility of resistance, though Ye Fan hadn’t restricted her spiritual energy.

Ming Ye chimed in, "The Sect Master of the Great Cold Sect appears noble, yet is merely a Cultivator. Her cultivation is relatively high in the Pan Gu secret realm but far from exceptional; what right does she have to be arrogant?"

Speaking thus, she approached Ye Fan, unwilling to let Song Mei or the sect’s disciples monopolize the cauldron opportunity. Her aim was cultivation under Ye Fan’s Pure Yang spiritual energy to gain more power and achieve better prospects herself.

Yet Ye Fan paid her no mind, seeming interested in Song Mei and the Great Cold Sect’s three female disciples.

Even as Ming Ye voluntarily approached Ye Fan, lowering her defenses like a humble woman, she failed to capture his attention. Nonetheless, she persisted, positioning herself beside Ye Fan, using her warm body to draw his interest, resembling an ordinary woman vying for her husband’s attention, disregarding gains and losses.

As for Song Mei, without any reservations, before Ye Fan utterly possessed the women before him, he acted like a victor, relishing his triumph.

When Song Mei, like her two disciples, became wholly possessed by Ye Fan, her disposition remained cold. Unable to express her resilience, nor did she need to display it, as Ye Fan’s spiritual energy had blended with hers. She sensed the formidable power and transformation it wrought upon her.

This transformative method was one she couldn’t accept.

It made her feel that she’d rather die than accept this method.
