Although the memory faded quickly, the body’s instinctive reactions and emotions hadn’t completely vanished. The anger peaked when he heard from the game that he still had a third round.

Other than Old Cai, Zhu Xiaojin and the others didn’t follow. However, some players who were originally in the vicinity watched the situation from afar.

Given that Xu Huo survived and won the first two games, entering again wasn’t much of a problem, and the third game was already scheduled. In any case, he couldn’t escape, and the unlocked area restrictions were no longer effective for him.

"There it is," Old Cai pointed to a building, "It’s basically along that street, everything inside is fake, just a mimic of the original street. The equipment vanishes as soon as it enters."

The Girl in the painting sent a small recorder, and sure enough, as it crossed the street, the recorder seemed swallowed by the sky, suddenly disappearing. The remote signal was lost, and the screen turned dark.

No sound came from the other side of the street.

"Inside and outside don’t connect; nothing from the inside reaches the outside," Old Cai said, "It must be blocked by space, and it’s probably an unstable space, otherwise, people couldn’t enter."

Xu Huo observed closely. The area isolating the city center was indeed a Chaotic Space. The disordered Spatial Rays were similar to the "Cubic Space," but unlike the "Cubic Space," the city center’s Spatial Power was more lethal, its state resembling the form Xu Huo could briefly summon after emerging from the game, filled with Spatial Ray Blades like fissures.

Fortunately, it wasn’t entirely stable here; though it interfered with the Spiritual World, there were gaps.

Jumping from the tall building, he walked to the cross street and expanded the Spiritual World from fifty meters away.

Deeper in, the chaotic Spatial Power of the city center was more apparent. Additionally, Time Force occasionally passed through, appearing and disappearing suddenly—presumably the main reason why players vanished inside.

The city center was isolated, but it comprised roughly a tenth of Bu Liu City. Given Bu Liu City’s overall size, it was larger than most cities. From the outskirts, or any other place outside the city center, the internal and external scenery seemed unbroken; inside was still full of city structures.

But Xu Huo, upon delving further, discovered the city center’s buildings were nearly leveled... saying leveled may not be accurate. Many buildings and streets vanished like something massive had bitten them off, leaving uneven gaps in the ground.

Everywhere were semi-circular or circular gaps, like undulating ripples, or like uncleanly scalped fish scales.

Limited by Spatial Power, Xu Huo couldn’t see farther, but careful observation revealed some traversable gaps, albeit requiring caution.

The Time Force here emerged too briefly to effectively avoid it.

The environment was much better than the Chaotic Space that appeared in Zone 014; at least it was somewhat patterned, though this pattern might evolve into another danger.

So far, he hadn’t identified exactly how those gaps formed.

This was the limit of his Spiritual World. It was impossible to proceed further, and as he intended to explore the vicinity further, he suddenly had the sensation of the sky cracking overhead... Instinctively looking up, he saw darkness descending. Before he could respond, the Spiritual World felt crushed by some heavy force, his brain overwhelmed with unbearable pressure, the Spiritual World forced to collapse, and his consciousness driven back outside the city center!

Outsiders couldn’t discern what transpired inside the city center, only noticing Xu Huo’s swaying form which was soon followed by a nosebleed and a ghastly pallor.

"Are you alright?" Old Cai hurriedly asked, "Is there mental interference in the city center?"

Taking the handkerchief offered by the Girl in the painting, Xu Huo wiped the blood from his face, his eyes fixed intently on the direction of the city center. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

It wasn’t mental interference; he understood upon contact. It was Spatial Power—though unclear on its formation, or how it crystallized into that form, he was certain it was Spatial Power.

Space-Time Power can also interfere with Psychic Power. When he fought with Xue Lang, his Psychic Power was cut by Spatial Ray Blade, effectively realizing those intangible powers, so Xue Lang’s spatial cutting worked. Similarly, the city center’s spatial crushing excluded him.

Unsure if it specifically targeted him, if even the Spiritual World channel was obstructed, either the city center was under human control or precisely designed—it was beyond just a prop or instrument.

Xu Huo turned on Beneath the Dimension, inputted relevant information, trying to find similar clues.

The contents of the third game couldn’t be transmitted to Beneath the Dimension, but related characteristics could be described. The District Government previously attempted to describe the Water Rubik’s Cube, but mostly received ridicule, with some considering it an unfounded ambition of manipulating Time Force, without practical basis. Some genuine Evolvers outright denied its possibility.

Xu Huo didn’t directly describe the city center’s ground state, instead searching known applications of Spatial Power.

Evolving focus determined great variance in Spatial Power applications, but overall Spatial Power tended to disassemble objects from within, rarely leaving regular traces. Similar to Ray Blades, Spatial Bodies, or explosions, all were alike.

But the gaps in Bu Liu City’s center might relate to Spatial Power.

After engaging multiple exchanges, a player finally commented, "What you described probably isn’t Spatial Power but rather regulated spatial gaps."
