Seeing Gao Xuan seated in the main hall's principal seat, Ripple hurriedly approached, "Master, you have finally emerged..."

Having been secluded for nearly eighty years, Gao Xuan's absence felt like a long span for Ripple. Though she occupied herself with sword practice, the endless days proved rather dull.

Gao Xuan gently stroked Ripple's hair, speaking softly, "Good child, you have worked hard all these years."

"Not at all... just a bit monotonous."

Ripple raised her head, smiling brightly: "Master emerging is wonderful."
