King's Rule: Creating the Strongest Kingdom With My Broken Talent
Chapter 53: Entrance Of The Ananta Army
Scarlet and Robin remained silent for several seconds as the massive formation stabilized behind Vesh. The sky itself seemed occupied, layered with ranks upon ranks of S-rank mechanical troops stretching far beyond the horizon. Even without releasing any aura, their mere existence distorted the air.
"Director..." Robin finally spoke, his voice hoarse. "That... that’s one hundred thousand... S-rank units?"
"Yes," Vesh answered calmly. "Fully autonomous. Coordinated through Ananta AI. Perfect synchronization. No fatigue. No fear. No hesitation."
Scarlet folded her arms, staring at the formation. "And you made all of them in... days?"
"Production is still ongoing," Vesh replied. "But this should be enough."
He turned toward the north.
"Formation One. March."
The entire army moved.
Not with noise. Not with chaos.
But with absolute order.
Assault Units advanced first, spreading in a wide triangular spearhead. Behind them, Heavy Units moved in layered defensive blocks. Support Units floated in structured grids between formations, while Aerial Units lifted into the sky and formed a multi-layered aerial dome.
The northern mountain range stretched endlessly, a natural boundary of jagged peaks and wide valleys. By the time Vesh’s army arrived, multiple kingdoms had already reached the region.
Thousands of banners filled the valleys.
War beasts roared.
Armored soldiers stood in disciplined ranks.
Magic formations glowed across camps.
The Howling Star Kingdom occupied the western ridge, their beast armies scattered across the snowy slopes. Massive wolves, armored beasts, and aerial predators hovered in formation.
The Asterisk Dynasty had taken the central plateau, their geometric formations and star-inscribed arrays glowing faintly beneath their disciplined troops.
Several other powerful kingdoms occupied the surrounding valleys, each one bringing their strongest elites.
The area occupied by the Talzon Kingdom had a lot of beasts and also other powerhouses clad in armor.
"Ananta Kingdom’s Executive Commander and Agents are there. Don’t tell me that’s their army?" Talzon raised his eyebrows. "Despite having such a population and technology, he isn’t using them?"
"But their combat suits are stronger." Talzon’s right-hand man, Dark Lord Zafari, narrowed his eyes as they glinted. "Am I mistaken, or their energy reading is the same as Bloom-rank monsters?"
"No way, right?"
"How could they have Bloom-rank energy?"
"They are fifty-something people, and all have Bloom-rank energy....that’s almost the same as the Bloom-rank monsters Harven tamed."
"A few strong people are missing, especially that scary person whose powers are completely unknown."
Discussion started in their group.
In the Holwing Star Kingdom’s area, Queen Lyra stood atop a giant bear of Bloom-rank standing 120 meters tall.
Her thick and long braided black hair flowed in the wind high up as she looked towards Ananta Kingdom’s group.
A company of Tengu beast folks floated around her, wielding different types of weapons.
"Ananta Kingdom...what is their plan?" She muttered and looked to her right, towards a Tengu with a demonic golden mask.
"Go and relay our message."
The Tengu took off.
Rovina looked at the incoming Tengu first before others followed. She could feel a powerful darkness from that Tengu.
Same as her. SS-rank Darkness Mastery talent.
The Tengu stopped before the group and made a short bow before speaking. "Our Queen desires a temporary truce and a meeting with the Ananta Executive Director."
"He will be here soon." Rovina nodded.
There was still a lot of time before the countdown hit zero. Until then, nobody was allowed to attack anyone.
Time passed.
Ten minutes later, some strong eyes moved towards the south.
"Mhmm?" Asterisk Patriarch narrowed his eyes.
Dots.
At first, they looked like distant specks moving across the southern horizon. Too small to identify. Too orderly to be beasts. Too silent to be a normal army.
Several powerhouses lifted into the sky for a clearer view.
The dots grew larger.
Then larger.
Then the air began to vibrate.
A faint mechanical hum spread across the mountain range, so low that it was almost imperceptible, yet heavy enough to press against the chest. The clouds above the southern horizon slowly parted, not blown away, but displaced, as if something massive was pushing through the sky itself.
"What... is that?" one of the Asterisk generals muttered.
The dots multiplied.
Thousands.
Then tens of thousands.
The first layer became visible.
Sleek figures streaked across the sky like silver lines. The Velocity Vanguard units arrived first, flying in perfect synchronization, each one maintaining identical distance from the next. They didn’t flap wings or emit visible propulsion. They simply cut through the air, leaving faint distortions behind them.
They spread outward, forming a vast reconnaissance ring around the incoming formation.
Then came the second layer.
The sky darkened as hundreds of Hyper-Cannon Wyverns emerged from the clouds. Their metallic wings stretched wide, each wingbeat generating compressed shockwaves that rolled across the mountains. Their cannon-like maws glowed faintly, charging but not firing.
Behind them, thousands of Twin-Bladed Winguard Skirmishers unfolded their razor-edged wings. They moved like a flock, yet with machine precision, forming three massive aerial bands layered above one another.
The entire sky became structured.
Not chaotic.
Structured.
Then the ground trembled.
The first heavy silhouettes descended.
Heavy Knights landed one after another across the valley floor. Each landing compressed the stone and cracked the ground slightly, yet they did not move afterward. They simply stood, forming a forward wall.
Behind them, Bulwark Rollers rolled forward in compact armored spheres before unfolding into towering humanoid forms. Their heavy bodies aligned shoulder to shoulder, creating a second defensive layer.
Then came the Aegisbark Warriors.
Their bark-like armor gleamed faintly as they planted themselves into the ground. Massive shields unfolded and locked together, forming overlapping defensive fields that shimmered faintly in the air.
But it was only the beginning.
The Assault Units descended next.
Multi-Weapon Assassins appeared like shadows slipping into reality, their limbs shifting subtly as blades extended and retracted.
Dual-Wielding Samurai stepped forward in disciplined ranks, their twin blades resting at their sides, their posture perfectly identical.
Flashblade Duelists flickered into position, appearing and disappearing as they stabilized into formation.
The final layer arrived slowly.
Massive Fortress Turtles floated in from the south, their colossal shells casting shadows over entire portions of the valley. Their shells opened slightly, revealing internal structures and glowing nodes.
Between them hovered Shadow Priests, their cloaked bodies flickering between light and darkness.
And weaving through all formations, Delta Nurses floated calmly, emitting faint pulses of stabilizing energy that washed over the entire army.
The total number...
One hundred thousand.
All S-rank.
All machines.
All perfectly synchronized.
The entire northern mountain range fell silent.
The armies that had gathered earlier suddenly looked small.
Even the beast armies of the Howling Star Kingdom grew restless.
Queen Lyra’s giant bear shifted slightly beneath her as she watched the approaching formation. Her expression, calm until now, finally changed.
"...So this is his confidence."
Dark Lord Zafari’s pupils shrank. "Every single unit... Bloom-rank energy... this is absurd."
Talzon clenched his jaw. "That’s not an army. That’s a moving catastrophe."
Harven stared upward, his heart pounding violently. Even his tamed Bloom-rank beasts began to grow agitated, sensing overwhelming pressure from the sky.
In the Asterisk Dynasty’s formation, the Patriarch slowly lowered his hand.
"No wonder they didn’t bring their elites forward..."
"They didn’t need to."
Several elders swallowed nervously.
"That number... even if each one is only low Bloom-rank... this is still impossible..."
The last units finally reached the valley.
Then, as one, the entire army stopped.
Perfectly.
Instantly.
No stagger.
No delay.
Vesh descended slowly at the very front, hovering above the leading line of Heavy Knights.
He raised his hand.
The army moved again.
The first formation advanced, stopping directly opposite the gathered kingdoms. Heavy Units formed a massive wall stretching across the valley, their shields locking together.
Behind them, Assault Units spread into triangular strike wedges.
Support Units floated into evenly spaced grids.
Above, Aerial Units rearranged into layered coverage, completely dominating the sky.
Within seconds, the entire battlefield was reorganized.
Not randomly.
But deliberately.
Vesh placed his army directly in front of all other kingdoms.
Not favoring any side.
Not hiding behind terrain.
Simply... blocking everyone.
A silent statement.
Scarlet exhaled slowly. "You’re... standing in front of everyone."
Robin swallowed. "You’re not even pretending to be subtle..."
Vesh looked across the gathered armies.
"Let them see."
Behind him, one hundred thousand S-rank war machines stood ready.
The mountain range felt smaller.
The sky felt heavier.
Executive Commanders looked at the army and then looked at each other.
And then looked at the army.
"I am not dreaming, right?"
Scarlet and Robin arrived with smiles as they watched everyone’s dumbfounded faces and body language.
"You are not dreaming. All of them are Bloom-rank equivalent powerhouses."
"Insane."
"Bwahahaha! As expected of Lord Eka!" Yeolodan laughed loudly. "Ananta Kingdom is the strongest!"
His voice spread across the mountain range.
All other Kingdoms in the range were sweating bullets.
Fear was filling them. Their body were involuntarily trembling because the things standing before them stood like a given verdict.
And everyone could only see death.
"Everyone!" Vesh began speaking, his voice spreading far and wide. "How is Ananta Kingdom’s army?"
"Pretty good, right?"
