Krisha wept, it wasn’t silent that others wouldn’t take notice. Among them, an inner disciple wanted to take a chance to console her and establish a deeper connection with her, but one glare at Felix made them hesitate.

Of course, they were inner disciples, so why would they be afraid of him?

One of them took courage and walked towards them. Felix gritted his teeth, causing veins to pop up on his jaws.

His hateful glare directed at the inner disciple, who, at first, believed it was satisfying to make Felix hate him, stopped on his tracks.

Felix tried his best to simmer down and said to them, "This is our business. Leave us alone."

Krisha, who had just heard for the first time Felix’s enraged tone, was quite surprised. She straightened her back, wiped the tears dampening her face, and swept her gaze at them with a smile.

She then turned towards Felix and said, "Don’t be angry now."

Felix nodded and his breathing calmed down somewhat.

After noticing that Felix had indeed simmered down, Krisha said, "Also, yes, let’s help each other. Don’t worry, I’ll come to you if I need guidance for something."

Felix beamed a smile at her.

"Just know that I’m an anomaly. I won’t deny that. If I grow stronger, that comes at a cost. I sincerely hope you don’t see me as a rival anymore, we’re past that age."

Krisha rolled her eyes. "Why are you talking like you’re some kind of old man?"

Felix chuckled. "Seriously, I can still understand if you’re being competitive when it comes to exams or not, but growing stronger and becoming competitive in that aspect is a double-edged sword.

Sure, it helps you build discipline, but that also comes at a heavy cost."

Krisha shrugged. Although Felix’s words made sense, she certainly didn’t like him scolding her.

Felix sighed. "Alright, let’s continue eating now. After this, you should meditate and sleep."

Krisha didn’t reply but they continued eating.

The atmosphere softened now, Krisha’s aura towards Felix finally soothed.

The heavy burden on Felix’s heart finally vanished and he was delighted to see Krisha, who seemed to be in a good mood.

After they finished eating, they returned to their room, not before bidding farewell to each other.

Now that his worries faded, Felix was utterly satisfied after feeling at ease.

He laid his body on his bed, staring at the ceiling, and chatted with the Guide.

"Since I haven’t been receiving vision from the silhouette on the second stage, I should keep using the wooden sword for practice tonight, right?"

During their first and second sleep with Rain, Felix was hoping that the silhouette would appear to show him the way for the second stage of Myriad Rain Scripture.

In the end, he was disappointed. The Guide told him that he might need to reach the Commander rank first to finally develop his sword energy or sword qi, so he would be eligible to practice the second stage.

Hence, Felix was solidifying his current foundation by using the wooden sword for now.

[It’s not bad to use Rain even. I suggest you should bring him to be your companion. Don’t forget about Moon, too. She might be satisfied by the moon with lunar energy, but her skill, the Night Calm, passively activates when she basks under the moonlight.]

Felix’s eyes widened. He smacked his face after forgetting the very important cultivation for Moon.

Felix’s eyes widened. What the Guide said made sense.

He nodded and finally decided to bring Moon outside.

He then proceeded to the beast quarters.

He met other outer disciples as he entered. He ignored them completely, despite others attempting to provoke him by cursing him or trying to bump into him, to which he evaded easily.

He didn’t have time to match their enthusiasm to play around.

After entering the inner disciples’ beast quarters section, he finally met Frank, who was chatting with an inner disciple.

He greeted him and Felix reciprocated without stopping his pace.

Eventually, he arrived at Moon’s beast quarters and entered.

Moon was still in slumber above the rock. She was still sleeping peacefully while she remained in the same position after Felix placed her.

Felix was quite worried for Moon, but he assured himself it was only temporary.

He slowly pulled Moon to his palms and brought her to his embrace. He caressed her head gently, as he closed his eyes and controlled the energy inside his body.

There were half-water and half ice and lunar energy inside, and he controlled them so well that the outer part inside of his body was filled with ice and lunar energy while the inner part was filled with water energy.

As a result, his body was now emitting an ice and lunar energy, which actually made Moon’s facial expression to soften even more.

Felix was deeply satisfied by what he had done, before deciding to leave the beast quarters under the shocked gazes of other disciples.

They’ve already been informed of Felix’s unique existence. Days ago, he summoned an old sword that has now been restored by Master Vey.

But now, he was already carrying a beast in his embrace, as though it was his beast pet.

It only meant one thing, Felix has reached Awakener Rank 6.

His quick growth left the inner and outer disciples utterly shocked.

Now, Felix’s bold declaration of reaching the Top 1 for the next two months made it seem not impossible anymore, causing the inner disciple to take him seriously now...
