Lewd Dungeon Master: This Orc Is Too Damn OP! - Chapter 289: Bloodless Entry
Divine power isn’t necessarily omnipotent.
But divine power has the effect of striking a weakness against demons. Even assuming it just deals 1.25x, no 2x damage, the effect is tremendous.
I wanted to deploy one person who could use divine power per dungeon.
Luna at the main base, and Guinevere and Galahad deployed as needed to counter monster invasions.
But above all else, the battlefield where those using divine power could fight most effectively was ’enemy territory swarming with monsters.’
"Kyahahaha!"
In other words, they could rampage most insanely in someone else’s dungeon. Lune and Gremory blocked the enemy’s total offensive using divine power like fish in water. Just the two of them.
"Gremory, leave the path climbing to the next floor alone. We’ll farm the damage over time when climbing later."
"I can’t help it if it’s not controlling well!"
...They rampaged so excitedly the entire battlefield was overturned. Thanks to that, divine power even covered our advance route, and walking that path would definitely make the soles burn terribly.
"Completely became a path covered in LEGOs."
Divine power was thickly smeared across the entire surface 1st floor, enough that even enemies were reluctant to step foot.
The undead dullahans returned to the main base with the unicorns, suffering zero damage, and I was the only one whose skin tingled from divine power.
’It’s fine if only I’m in pain.’
I could endure the pain. The more I hurt, the more enemies would hurt, and if I felt like dying, enemies would truly die.
"It’s gradually getting cleaned up. Then we enter operation phase 2."
Finally, the time had come.
Surface team and basement team.
The 1st corps blocking enemies descending from above while climbing the tower, and the 2nd corps annihilating all enemies coming up from the basement. The moment the 2nd corps’ sweep operation ends, they’d join the main force 1st corps and climb to the tower’s end.
Then kill Halphas and steal the seal. Make all of Halphas’s forces mine.
No intention to take Halphas’s name, but at this point, wasn’t I sufficiently grown to swagger as a rank 38 dungeon master?
"Shaitan, begin operation!!"
[Please command the surface team. Deploying basement team.]
"Sure!"
A group of monsters appeared from beyond the portal. Siege specialists who’d conquered numerous dungeons long ago.
[Slime Dragon: Lv.55. ★★★.]
[Big Slime: Lv.35. ★★.]
[Slime: Lv.15. ★.]
The elite slime unit with everyone at max level for their respective levels was our legion’s elite 1st corps climbing the tower.
"Let’s go, Lime!!"
Gurgle.
At the head of those slimes was slimehole Lime. Lime who brought five Slime Dragons pointed at a Slime Dragon’s empty saddle.
"Lune, Gremory! Mount up!"
Lime one. Lune one. Gremory one. With one person each mounted on Slime Dragons, one saddle seat remained empty. I pointed inside the palisade to the one with the lowest seniority, not yet max level.
"You wait here and come up when Shaitan gives orders. Got it?"
Gurgle.
The remaining Slime Dragon entered inside the palisade following my orders. Simultaneously, as if crossing paths, the sound of wingbeats came from beyond the portal.
"Legion Commander!"
"You came!"
My daughter born from Andras, Harpuia, appeared leading a large-scale Harpy Angel unit. The only means of transportation that could fly to the sky without being affected by divine power residue covering the floor.
"Harpy unit, all prepare!"
The aerial unit mixing harpies and Harpy Angels moved near their assigned slime partners. A whopping 6 harpies clung near me and my Slime Dragon.
Rumble rumble.
Halphas legion’s monsters began pouring from the stairs climbing to the ceiling again. A movement of just throwing in goblins or whatever worked first, and breaking through that thoughtlessly would be foolish.
’So we skip the stairs and go straight to the ceiling portal.’
The 2nd floor tower was Halphas legion’s true threat. Stair monsters and such could be sufficiently overcome by adventurers.
"Fly up, harpies---!!"
Flap flap flap!!
White-winged harpies each grabbed their assigned slimes and began flapping wings. The spectacle of some holding one slime with their feet, some with two clinging to lift a Big Slime and fly skyward was truly magnificent.
Over a hundred harpies flew up carrying slimes all at once. The stair monsters realized our strategy and tried to urgently respond, but too late.
They had almost no ranged attack means.
"Hahaha, bloodless entry!!"
A whopping 20m to the airspace where the Cursed Wyvern had hovered holding position. The harpies completed their mission by landing the slime special forces at the stair’s end.
’Sorry to the harpies, but harpies aren’t combat personnel.’
I landed at the stair’s end with Slime Dragon Unit 2. The harpies who transported me smiled while struggling to flap wings and began falling below. That applied not just to me but most harpies who moved other slimes.
’They were laying eggs originally, so I urgently called them.’
Most harpies were monsters below level 10. Forces the Cursed Wyvern alone could annihilate, they’d given their all just transporting slimes roughly 20m height from ground to ceiling.
’When they return, they don’t need to lay eggs for a day.’
They could lay if they wanted, but they’d suffer muscle pain, so resting comfortably for a day would be good.
"Shaitan, recovery----!!"
[Deploying recovery team.]
Squawk squawk sounds began coming from beyond the portal. The fence gate opened wide, and birdmen with black crow heads rushed out.
"Ras! Ras!!"
"Recover the harpies and return to base-ras!!"
Andras species rushed over regardless of gender and rescued harpies falling to the floor. Andras who couldn’t fly rescued harpies who’d done their best flying and quickly disappeared through the portal.
"Hehe, done. Now let’s go up!"
Gurrrrgle!
I turned the Slime Dragon’s reins toward the ceiling. The slimes began crawling up the stairs following my orders in unison.
"Bl-block them---!!"
A nearby goblin urgently climbed the stairs trying to target our rear. But naturally, countermeasures were prepared.
"Lune! Come this way!"
"Yes!"
I gave orders to Lune who’d landed on the lowest stair, and Lune jumped high from the Slime Dragon’s saddle. Lune leaped several meters from the stairs, and I wrapped my arms around the airborne Lune’s waist and pulled her close.
"Unit 3!"
Gurgle!
Unit 3 nodded its head vigorously and raised its head high with solemn resolve.
Boom---ng!!
Slime Dragon Unit 3 buried itself toward the bottom of the stairs. The elongated Unit 3 began gnawing the stairs at very fast speed.
Munch, munch.
Following the Cursed Wyvern’s death, stairs that hadn’t been visible became visible. The only stairs climbing to 2nd floor were a very special passage made of mana.
In other words, the perfect passage for Slime Dragons to melt.
"Hey, this is bad!"
"Damn, I’m watching too!"
"The climbing speed is faster than the melting speed!!"
The stair monsters began climbing in reverse. Unit 3 alone was too slow to cut off the stairs.
"Damn, no good! If I go down-"
Gurgle!
"What? Ah, no!!"
Lune screamed. Lime pointed at Unit 3 with a pale face. My heart also sank.
Gurgle.
Unit 3 raised its head toward the ceiling with a solemn face. As if saying ’don’t worry about me and go.’
"It says don’t worry and go!!"
Graaaa!!
A minotaur that passed the goblin raised an axe toward Unit 3. A 3-star monster—even a Slime Dragon was one step before being thrown by force.
Crack!!
Unit 3 swallowed whole into its body the foothold it was standing on. The entire staircase entered the Slime Dragon’s body.
The stairs were cut.
Simultaneously, the stairs Unit 3 stood on also disappeared.
"Unit 3---!!"
The minotaur’s axe sliced through empty air. It tumbled from the stairs due to forward swing weight. While doing so, the minotaur grabbed the falling Unit 3.
Graaaaah---!!
With intense screaming, the minotaur rolled and fell from the stairs. A spiral structure with no railings—pushed sideways meant falling straight from 20m height.
Graaah!!
The minotaur sensed death. And expressed anger at that death toward Unit 3.
Crack---!
"Ugh...!"
Unit 3 burst. The minotaur twisted Unit 3 like wringing out a rag. Then it crashed to the floor with its neck broken.
"That bastard--!!"
"Master! Right now...!"
"I know, damn it!!"
The stair monsters couldn’t come up anymore. Unit 3 perfectly performed the mission to cut the stairs.
[Bond Summon]
[Slime Dragon (Unit 3): ★★★. Lv.55.]
[Requires 16 mid-grade magic stones.]
[Level decreases by 1 upon resummon.]
"I won’t forget your sacrifice! I’ll revive you and definitely make you 4-star!!"
I’d sweep all of Halphas dungeon’s mid-grade magic stones and make the Slime Dragon a higher existence. I turned my head toward the ceiling.
"Run up! Everyone follow me--!"
Me and the slime unit ran at full speed toward surface 2nd floor, the tower.
Leaving behind our legion’s first casualty, we ran forward.
***
"...A bit unexpected, getting so angry over one slime dying."
"It’d be the same for any existence. If they’re part of the legion, and have ability within the legion."
Shaitan checked the required magic stones for the Slime Dragon listed on Bond Summon. Since Slime Dragons were indispensable for conquering the tower, they needed rapid resurrection.
"...Not enough mid-grade magic stones because of magical fluid, tch."
Shaitan clicked her tongue and checked inventory once more. But the system itself kept repeatedly announcing mid-grade magic stones were insufficient.
"This gets complicated."
"Is that Unit 3 kid that important?"
"Not exactly, but the original plan was all four Slime Dragons going up. Since it’s complicated, can’t be helped. Ah."
Shaitan cleared her throat and sent a message to her master.
"I’ll send up the waiting child the moment Harpuia recovers stamina. I’ll revive Unit 3 and send it up with the ’joker’ you mentioned. Master, please proceed forward."
[I’m counting on you, Shaitan!!]
Rok started climbing with the words "I’m counting on you" to Shaitan.
"Then you, choose now."
Shaitan pushed the system window aside and forced a choice on the black-robed woman.
"Wrath or Pride?"
"...I’m choosing because I want to survive. Absolutely not because I like that weird stuff."
"Long preamble."
"Tch. Fine. Just send me quickly."
The woman put on a hood. On top of the hood were a yellow beak and round eyes.
"I’m really going prepared to die. Can’t abandon me."
"When Master cherishes you somewhat, how could I abandon you? The operation is perfect. Under the assumption you opened all information without a single lie."
"...That’s why I’m going personally. To prove it. Wrath or Pride."
The woman in penguin robes, Shax, walked toward where the portal was and turned her steps.
"Come to think of it, a bit annoying? You suspect me after fucking me like that?"
"I suspect. Women and subordinates are different to Master. You know what I mean?"
"...Tch, fine. I’ll be a subordinate. Just do it, right? The one who betrayed the Legion of Pride proves value as a subordinate of the Legion of Wrath?"
"Of course."
Basement team.
Deployed personnel—just one person.
"...I can sweep it alone anyway. So promise. You, if I completely push through basement 1st floor, support my condition."
"Of course. Master will sufficiently acknowledge it too."
Shaitan smiled satisfied at Shax’s gleaming eyes under the robe.
"Achieve merit. If you win against the Legion of Pride, Master will take the seal but...."
"No one will have Halphas’s name."
"Correct. I pray you become the new Halphas. Ah, one more thing—the basement team has one more person."
"What?"
Shax ground her teeth and growled.
"You said I’d go alone!"
"If you were Pride, there was one to go instead of you. Think of it as insurance and take him. Master said to mobilize if necessary." 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
"...Who?"
"Me."
Shax got chills at the orc appearing behind her.
"Orc Paladin Galahad, who’ll take responsibility for your front."
