Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 229 - 228: Speak Human Language
Someone is competing with you for a woman...
South Grant was jolted wide awake by Dodo’s words.
"Speak plainly!" South Grant said through gritted teeth.
Dodo thought South was secretly in love with the teacher and was embarrassed for others to know, so he cleared his throat and said:
"Young Master Grant, the Marcus Shaw you asked us to keep an eye on took Ford to a hotel, and it’s very likely that Ford is not in a clear state of mind."
What the hell!
The reason South Grant had Dodo secretly protect Ford was because he was afraid Marcus Shaw would do something nasty in secret.
But she never thought Marcus Shaw would dare to be so bold as to take a female teacher to a hotel.
South then recalled what Marcus Shaw said in the woods yesterday, that he wanted someone to keep their mouth shut forever.
Now, taking Ford to a hotel is definitely not to silence someone through murder. He probably wants to threaten Ford into keeping quiet.
South Grant suddenly understood. Ford is a female teacher. If a student assaulted her, it would be a huge scandal.
At that point, it would be a hold Marcus Shaw has over them, and South Grant couldn’t afford to delay, immediately asking, "Where are they?"
"Just entered the hotel, and Marcus Shaw brought a few guys from the streets with him. The hotel is not far from your school, in an alley, it’s an unlicensed private hotel. I had Didi wait outside the alley for you."
South Grant stood up, striding towards the door, and said to Dodo as he walked:
"Hurry in and stop him, don’t let him hurt Ford."
"Okay, I’m just waiting here for your orders."
After hanging up, South Grant sprinted out. Marcus Shaw had brought some street thugs, and she wasn’t sure how skilled Dodo was or if he was a match for Marcus Shaw and his men.
Didi wasn’t around at the moment either, and if Dodo got hurt, no one could rescue Ford.
Dodo said it wasn’t far, but by the time South reached the alley entrance, ten minutes had already passed.
When South Grant and Didi found the hotel and rushed upstairs, they saw Dodo standing at the door of a room at the end of the hallway.
South Grant ran over, and upon entering, saw a line of people crouching along the wall.
They were all wearing black T-shirts, each with tattoos on their arms, but now they were all crouching on the ground with their heads in their hands.
And Marcus Shaw, at this moment, was kneeling in front of the bed, not daring to move an inch.
After entering, South Grant raised an eyebrow and then gave Dodo a thumbs up.
"No one would’ve thought you could really fight."
"Heh heh..." Dodo chuckled and then patted a bulging item at his waist, "I have a gun."
South Grant couldn’t help but roll her eyes, initially thinking these guys were subdued by Dodo’s fighting skills, not expecting it was because he brought a gun.
South Grant then entered the room, looking at Ford lying on the bed, covered with a thin blanket, presumably put there by Dodo.
She walked over, lifted a corner of the blanket, and saw that Ford’s blouse buttons had been undone, and her skirt was half pulled down.
However, the underwear she was wearing was intact, indicating that Marcus Shaw and these beasts hadn’t inflicted substantial harm on Ford yet.
Ford was somewhat unconscious at this moment, her brows furrowed, looking extremely uncomfortable.
South Grant thought of how these men had shown such disrespect toward women, using such means to coerce a teacher. Regardless of the reason, it was unforgivable.
