Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 247 - 246: Nathan Foster’s Secrets Are Growing
South Grant looked calm at this moment. Since Fiona Grant insisted on opening the cabinet, South took two steps to the side and opened the cabinet door.
"Since you insist on seeing it, I won’t stop you."
South Grant then let out a cold laugh, glancing at Fiona Grant, and said in a slightly chilly voice:
"If you open this cabinet today and there’s no one inside, Fiona, for ruining my reputation, sowing discord, fabricating lies, how will you give me an explanation?"
There couldn’t be no one inside, Fiona was sure.
What South was saying was merely to intimidate everyone here and make them too scared to open the cabinet.
"If there’s no one inside the cabinet, I’ll do whatever you say. But if there is someone inside?" Fiona countered.
South knew Fiona’s intention was simply to drive her out of the Foster Family.
To make Harold and Nathan utterly disappointed in her, causing her to lose her support from the Foster Family.
South then expressed her own thoughts:
"If there’s someone hidden in the cabinet, I admit that everything you said is true. I am that disreputable person, hanging out with shady men as a gay, I disgrace the Foster Family. From now on, I’ll move out of here and never return."
Listening to South’s words, Fiona felt secretly pleased.
South couldn’t escape this time. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"However..." South suddenly shifted her tone, looking at Fiona, "If there’s no one inside, Fiona, your deliberate defamation and disturbing Grandpa in the middle of the night to search my room have already crossed my line. From now on, you will no longer be my sister, and I will no longer live under the same roof with you. This house will be either you or me. Tomorrow morning, pack your things and get out of here."
South’s face turned solemn, exuding an imposing presence.
Looking at South in this manner, Fiona felt that, for some reason, he bore some resemblance to Nathan Foster, not in appearance, but in aura.
Fiona gritted her teeth, thinking that South was just being harsh to scare her off.
"Fine!" Fiona agreed bluntly.
South turned around after he agreed, reached out, and pulled open the wardrobe door.
Now is the moment to witness a miracle.
There was a whole wall of wardrobes on that side, and more than half was occupied by Nathan Foster’s clothes, because this room used to be Nathan Foster’s. Nathan Foster only temporarily gave it to South.
South’s clothes only filled two cabinet doors, and she opened those two doors.
But inside was empty, completely devoid of anyone.
Fiona’s eyes widened as she looked through the wardrobe, finding no one.
Fiona ran to the cabinet, opened the other doors, flipped through them, but found no one.
They were all Nathan Foster’s uniforms and everyday clothes.
"How’s that possible? I just heard someone talking, how come there’s no one now?" Fiona said in surprise as she rummaged.
Her surprise now was much like South’s earlier surprise.
South also thought Nathan was inside the cabinet, only to realize he emerged from outside. At that moment, South thought she was hallucinating.
Now, after a good while, she finally found a sense of reality.
South guessed that there was probably some mechanism in Nathan’s wardrobe that connected to the outside or another room, allowing Nathan to quietly leave from the cabinet.
South was puzzled why Nathan would set up such a secret mechanism in his bedroom.
South felt that Nathan’s secrets were growing increasingly complex.
