They decided to have lunch at a Hong Kong-style café near the law firm.

After they ordered, Sherry Walsh asked, "Rory, what are your plans now? The hospital won’t be making you come back to work right away, will they?"

"My director told me to come back after I’ve handled my personal affairs. I still have next week off."

Because of the kidnapping, the hospital wasn’t taking any chances and had transferred all of Rory Linden’s patients to other doctors.

They also gave her more than a week of vacation.

"That’s not bad at all. You can get some extra rest. You’ve been so busy these past few years. Whenever I call you, you’re either at work or on your way to work. You should take this chance to really rest and spend a few days just sleeping in until you wake up naturally!"

Sherry Walsh had always felt for Rory Linden.

When she heard Rory could rest for a few days, she was even happier than Rory herself!

"Mhm," Rory Linden said, looking at Leo Linden beside her. "Leo happens to be off for the next few days, so I’m thinking of taking him somewhere."

"Really?"

Leo Linden was happy for a second, but then he remembered what Sherry Walsh had just said and immediately reined in his excitement. "Actually, I can go play some other time. I want Mom to rest properly too."

He knew even better than Sherry Walsh how hard Rory Linden worked.

After lunch, Sean Harrison said he would go get the car first, as he had parked quite far away.
