Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming!
Chapter 1048: Was It Fun Deceiving Me?
-
Upstairs, Dawn Sutherland was dealing with business in the study, yet his mind was elsewhere, entirely fixated on Daisy Grant and that unfamiliar man.
Because he was distracted, it was only when Dawn came back to his senses that he realized he had unconsciously written Daisy Grant’s name in the signature space of the document.
Looking at those three words, Dawn gave a bitter smile, murmuring in a deep voice, "I’ve loved you for so many years, I’m truly possessed and insane!"
This document was now unusable—-
Dawn sifted through the remaining matters that needed attention, intending to regain focus and handle business, but inadvertently stumbled upon a document lying in the drawer of his desk.
Dawn noticed that document because it didn’t belong to him, and the few words on the first page made his whole body shiver, his heart contracting in pain.
The few large words on the front page of that transparent folder were particularly glaring, stinging Dawn’s eyes.
"Divorce Agreement——-"
Dawn’s fingers turned cold as he pulled out the agreement, bitterness and desolation overflowing from his eyes, even creeping onto his cheeks.
It turns out the first time she cooked for him, it was because she wanted to leave, wanted him to let her go.
It turns out that man came back to her side, and she really turned away without hesitation, ready to leave with someone else, abandoning him alone.
"Daisy Grant, do you have a heart at all, can’t you feel my love for you?"
"I thought as long as I treated you well, one day you would turn and see my existence."
"I thought if I stayed by your side, you would forget about him and truly grow old with me."
"But it turns out, I was the one being foolish! Daisy Grant, no matter how good I am to you, how much I care, loving you with my life, you remain indifferent, with only him in your heart."
Holding that divorce agreement tightly, Dawn crumpled it into a ball and threw it coldly on the ground, then grabbed his coat and left.
As Daisy Grant was tidying up the dishes on the table, she saw Dawn coming downstairs, putting on his coat as if to go out, and casually asked, "Aidan, where are you going? Are you going out for a social event so late? Aidan, I have something to tell you....."
Rather than letting Aidan Sutherland tell Dawn, she might as well confess tonight. Dawn hates deceit the most, if he is to hate, she’ll accept it.
The divorce agreement, she signed it, she wouldn’t cling to Dawn, demanding him to take responsibility for her and the child.
Before Daisy could finish her words, Dawn suddenly turned at the door, casting a cold glance at Daisy, his voice colder than ever: "Daisy Grant, you have no heart at all! Is deceiving me fun for you? Do you think I’m foolish, allowing you to deceive me, so all these days you’ve been acting, pretending?!"
He thought that since he treated her so well, said so many times that she was rightfully his wife, and even consummated their marriage, she would truly entrust the rest of her life to him, allowing him to protect her forever.
But it turns out he was wrong; all the sweet and loving days were not in her heart at all, as soon as the child’s father appeared, she chose without hesitation to end their marriage and embrace someone else!
Daisy was stunned by Dawn’s icy gaze, standing in place for a moment, her body trembling slightly, silently questioning him.
Where did she go wrong?----
Why would Aidan suddenly get angry?
Did Aidan Sutherland reveal the matter so early?
But she hadn’t heard a hint of it!
If the truth is exposed, if that’s why Aidan is angry, she deserves it...
She was the one who crawled into Aidan’s bed, it’s normal for him to blame and hate her, but her heart is in so much pain it’s hard to breathe.
She gave everything to be with Aidan, yet all she got in return was his cold questioning...
