"Miss Nangong, are you okay?" Alvin asked anxiously.

"I’m fine, I’m fine." Nangong Lin shook her head. Although she was startled, Alvin managed to catch her in time.

"Ah, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Miss Nangong, are you hurt?" The Queen hurriedly approached and asked with concern.

"I’m fine, I’m fine." Nangong Lin rushed to shake her head. She had to admit, Alvin and his mom were really polite and quite considerate.

"As long as you’re okay." The Queen’s face was filled with apology, but her eyes subtly fell on their hands, instantly blooming into a smile.

Nangong Lin froze, Alvin too, only then did they notice they were still holding hands.

For some inexplicable reason, they both quickly recoiled as if shocked.

Nangong Lin’s face turned slightly red with embarrassment, she quickly said, "Um, let’s bring the stuff inside first."

Alvin, for some reason, felt his ears turning red too, but it was just a bashful embarrassment.

"Okay." Alvin nodded, then stepped into Nangong Lin’s house, but before entering he gave the Queen a hard stare.

The Queen blinked innocently, clearly not buying it, staring back as if to say, "This daughter-in-law, I really fancy her!"

"You can put it here." Nangong Lin pointed at the side cabinet in the room, feeling a bit awkward; she had never been neat, even though someone cleaned every day, it would soon be a mess again.

The room was somewhat cluttered, with fashion magazines, unfinished snacks, and girls’... underwear... seemed fleetingly thrown on the sofa, weighed down by a magazine.

Alvin’s lips inadvertently twitched, thinking, can Nangong Lin take care of him?

Clearly not a wise decision.

Nangong Lin felt quite embarrassed too, quickly positioned herself in front of Alvin, to prevent him from seeing her messy sofa.

Unbeknownst to her, Alvin had already seen it!

"Um..." Nangong Lin awkwardly scratched her head, changing the subject, "Do you need any help on your side?"

She deliberately obstructed his view, trying to cover it up, appearing somewhat cute like a little girl.

It seemed somewhat mismatched with her age, but Nangong Lin was naturally beautiful, extremely striking, even at this age she could seamlessly play a sixteen-year-old girl.

Only Alvin knew her age, which made him want to chuckle a bit, but it was not a sarcastic laugh, rather a surprised smile, amused by this Little Cutie trying to cover up.

"No, it’s all stuff like moving, not suitable for you, there are people for it." Alvin’s lips curled slightly with a smile.

At this point, the Queen interjected, "Yeah, yeah, you don’t need to help right now, let’s have a meal together later, it can count as a celebration for Alvin."

This suggestion seemed flawless.

So Nangong Lin promptly nodded, "Okay."

"Okay then, get some rest first, Alvin will come to call you later." The Queen said as she pulled Alvin out of Nangong Lin’s room.

"Mm, alright." Nangong Lin stood at the door with a charming smile, "See you later then."

This apartment was already fully furnished, one could move in with just bags, Alvin probably just had clothes and his instruments, nothing too complicated needing help, though he did have a lot of clothes!

Nangong Lin closed the door, and the Queen’s smile was radiant.

Alvin looked at her in annoyance, then went into his room without another word.

"So, how about it son? The girlfriend mommy picked for you is great, right? Stunning!" The Queen excitedly followed him in, thrilled.
