Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!
Chapter 601: Ruthless Face-Slapping (Part 3)
Hu Yi absentmindedly muttered "hmm" and picked up the sign-in pen, ready to scribble a name at random.
When his gaze swept across Qin Wenrou’s signature, he suddenly paused.
Qin Wenrou smiled sweetly and asked him, "Brother Hu, is this spot not good? It’s the C position. I don’t let others sign here."
Hu Yi stared at that signature, his gaze growing colder: "Is this your real signature?"
"Yes," Qin Wenrou replied a little shyly, "You’ve seen my handwriting before."
Hu Yi said coldly, "I have seen it. I didn’t expect this."
Qin Wenrou’s signature, while not ugly, was a world apart from Xinghe’s bold and flamboyant script.
So, all the notes Qin Wenrou gave him were not written by her hand.
So, Qin Wenrou was indeed not Xinghe.
Haha, he had been deceived by Qin Wenrou’s notes for so long, how foolish.
For some reason, upon realizing this, Hu Yi didn’t feel disappointed; instead, it was as if a heavy stone had been lifted from his chest, and he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Great, he could finally report back to Sister Xin and Ao Chongchong.
"Brother Hu, what’s wrong?" Qin Wenrou gradually sensed something was amiss.
Hu Yi threw down the pen without a word and turned to leave.
Mrs. Qin was utterly confused: "What’s wrong with your classmate?"
Qin Wenrou was even more puzzled: "How would I know? Brother Hu is a temperamental person, forget about him. Mom, quickly send me the group photo, I’ll post it on the school forum first."
Qin Wenrou promptly uploaded the photo of her and Hu Yi, taken outside the concert hall, to the school forum.
Surely the ugly ones will feel bad, haha.
Happily, she linked arms with Mrs. Qin and headed backstage to wait.
However, for some reason, along the way, they constantly saw audiences leaving, brushing past them.
Qin Wenrou was puzzled: "Mom, are they headed to the restroom?"
Mrs. Qin: "I suppose so?"
Qin Wenrou smiled, thinking how eager these people were to hear her concert that they rushed to the restroom before it started; she felt delighted.
Ah, today, today was her moment of greatness!

On the top floor of the concert hall.
The VIP concert hall was already packed.
When President Jun arrived, ready to find his seat, a staff member approached: "Sir, let me take you to the front row."
Jun Ruyi naturally followed her father.
Unexpectedly, the staff stopped her: "Sorry, ma’am, you can’t enter."
Suppressing her anger, Jun Ruyi asked, "Do you know who I am? How dare you stop me?"
The staff member smirked slightly: "I’m sorry, ma’am, I can only answer to the concert host. Only her invited guests can enter, and it’s one ticket per person. No ticket, no entry. That’s the rule."
Jun Ruyi: "Hmph, rules don’t apply to me here! If you don’t let me in, do you still want this concert to happen? The President Mansion will bury you in bureaucracy!"
The staff felt quite wronged.
On one side was the assertive and cold Miss Qin, and on the other was the unreasonable Miss Jun, ah, he felt caught in the middle.
Just as Jun Ruyi was throwing a tantrum, President Jun waved his hand: "Ruyi, step outside. They’re right, we must follow the rules. People from the President Mansion must especially lead by example and not abuse their power."
The authority of her father finally silenced Jun Ruyi.
She furiously glanced towards the backstage curtain, uncertain of who was sitting behind it, daring to make things difficult for her.
Earlier, she had considered Qin Wenrou as a mere onlooker, but now she was the one being treated as an onlooker; it was too much.
She had heard that Mr. Nalan had invited her father, so she pleaded with him to bring her along.
Yet now, she hadn’t even seen Mr. Nalan, and she was already being kicked out. Hmph, if she finds out who the host is, she definitely won’t let it slide.
