Chapter 183: Ch 183: Eve of the Tea Party

The next day, the Skepa family castle was in a festive atmosphere. And why would they not be ? They had managed to win the sudden war with a large scale dark orginisation had managed to absorbed a decent portion of its power.

And the grand auction last night hosted by the prestigious Seven Heroes Conclave had been extremely successful. These two events together had increased the prestige of the Skepa family to a new height. So much so that they could now be compared to even the legendary ducal families of this nation.

For this reason, everyone who was a part of the Skepa family or had a friendly relationship with them were very happy with this development. These incidents had shown that the Skepa family had very strong economical, political and the most important military power. So they were excellent as allies.

Now, in this situation, Elina was going to host a tea party which was going to be the biggest event before the grand ball. So by taking advantage of this, many people were trying or accomplish many things.

For Elina, she wanted to establish herself and the Skepa family in a leadership position. As for the young noble ladies who were participating in this tea party, most of them wanted to strengthen their bond with the Skepa family.

But in this very advantageous situation, there would definitely be rival noble families who would try to do something to lessen the prestige of the Skepa family. They could not allow the Skepas to grow anymore.

...

After the auction was over, Weiss and Elise had returned back. Weiss was extremely satisfied with the results of this auction.

Not only she had managed to get all the things that he needed from the auction, she had even managed to advance her research quite a bit using the men provided by Zara.

But that was not all. She had even managed to get an excellent subordinate and the news about a potential subordinate candidate. So this had been a very short but full filling night for Weiss and the Souran territory.

It was just just Weiss who was satisfied with this night. The same was true for Elise. Because of her personality, outside of the people who worked for Weiss or her contacts from her previous life of a noble, Elise did not have many friends. So she was glad to make a new friend who was not Weiss’s subordinate or a noble.

Other than this, the men she had sex with this night were also excellent. Her new friend really had a very good taste in men. So that was also something which had completely satisfied Elise.

Because of all these reasons, they were super happy. And when their maids returned back after some time, they also looked happy with how the auction visit had turned out for them.

As both of maids were with people they had enmity with, both of the ladies had used their charm to make their wallet to suffer a huge blow. As a result of that, Anali and Cathie both had gotten several ornaments as gifts.

They were not terribly expensive pieces but as the nobles who were with them were not exceptionally rich, it was still a big blow to their economical situation. And that was exactly what the ladies wanted.

The maids had a little bit of sex in the auction house but as they were sitting in a combined VIP area, there was not that much privacy and so they had not managed to go too wild.

So even after returning back, they were still a bit sexually dissatisfied and horny. So both of them decided to go and gather some information about the upcoming tea party, the ball and the situation of the two dark orginisations from the guards while having some fun with them.

...

So in the morning of the day after the auction, when a servant of the Skepa family came to Weiss room with an urgent expression on her face, it was only Weiss and Elise who were present in the room.

Seeing the urgency, Weiss did not ask too many questions and followed the maid to Eleanor’s room. Inside the room, a slightly tensed looking Eleanor was there with her daughter Elina who currently had pale and worried face.

Seeing Weiss, both of the ladies lit up with joy and hope. In just a few days, Weiss had established herself as an almost omnipotent being with how briliant she was at anything and everything that she did.

After Weiss and Elise had entered the room, Eleanor sent all the servants away. This was truly a great show of trust again. Then Elina told Weiss about the problem that she was facing.

There was a very rare and expensive tea that she was planning to serve in today’s tea party. Serving a very high quality tea was a must for parties like these.

But the tea that Elina had prepared, it had suddenly went missing alongside a servant who was most probably a spy from a different noble family.

And now, with that tea missing, the party would lose one of its most important factors. There were no other tea currently present in the Skepa castle that could match the taste and elegance of the missing tea leaves.

...

After hearing about the trouble, Weiss ordered Elise to go back to their room and fetch a tea from her own luggage. And with her speed, Elise brought it back in a blink of an eye.

Then Elise made some tea from the leaves and served them to everyone present in the room, including herself. And soon as Eleanor and Elina took a sip, their eyes widened slightly.

That was because this tea was something that they knew about. It was one of the special items that was brought to the stage on last night’s auction. The auction house had provided a little sample of the tea made from this to all the VIPs present and everyone was very impressed with this.

And now Weiss was serving the same kind of tea to the ladies. What it implied was very clear. The seller of those tea leaves last night was definitely none other than Weiss.

Actually, this was not completely true. Weiss was not directly selling this tea and instead was using Lia and her company as a middleman. This tea was going to be one of the flagship items for Lia to start doing business with the nobles.

And now, a perfect opportunity had been given to Weiss for her to not only promote this amazing tea of hers to many nobles but also to help the Skepa family out and put them in her debt even more.

So even before the start of the tea party, it was turning out to be a beneficial event for Weiss.
