On the day of the main party, the excitement in the Skepa castle had reached the peak. The main party was going to start in the evening but all the nobles were already getting ready to attend this.

None of the nobles had used their best dresses and accessories for the previous parties that that were attending here. All of them were obviously saving the best ones for the main party.

While the whole Skepa castle was getting ready, Weiss was simple sitting leisurely in her room while reading a book. As for the four maids and Elise, they were busy choosing the perfect clothing combination for Weiss to wear in the first night of the party.

The first night was the most important one to show off for the nobles. The rest of the two nights were mostly for having important discussions and negotiations. So Weiss showing off her extreme beauty and sexiness tonight was very very important.

After this, the door to the ball room would be closed and no one would be granted entry. The only exception to this rule was the royal family. But that was not really a problem in this case as no royals had been invited for this particular ball.

Then as the head butler and head maid maid opened the door of the ball room, the other servants went to invite the nobles from their rooms. It was their duty to make sure that all the nobles were entering the ball room in the correct order.

The first ones to enter were a few rich merchants. Even though this party was mostly for the nobles, as rich merchants held quite a bit of economical power, some of the very lucky and influential ones were allowed to join the party as the lowest ranking participants.

Next it was time for the baronets to enter. Baronets were mostly noble families who had no official knights and had fallen from grace. Some of them still had some influence but they were obviously considered to be the bottom ranks among the nobility.

There were not many baronets who were invited. So it did not take much time for them to go in. As soon as they were done, it was time for the barons and baronesses to enter.

Most of the nobility in the Brightshine kingdom belonged to this rank. As long as someone was an official knight and had managed to get in the good graces of a royal family member through various means, they would immediately be granted the noble rank of a baron.

So there were actually many barons who did not have any land under their name. In the noble society, they were known as false barons. And only a baron with a domain were considered to be the real ones.
