Chapter 320: STAY CLEAR FROM HER

After Elena was captured her power had been almost entirely stripped from her. The two kings, terrified of what she might become, subjected her to a forbidden draining ritual.

Ancient spells and dark artifacts tore away nearly all her enchantress power , leaving her hollow, frail, and broken. Only then was she released from the dungeons.

But freedom was never granted.

King Ryker made her his official concubine. She was forced to live in the shadowed halls of the Celestial Palace a ghost in silk and chains. Every day brought fresh humiliation and heartbreak.

Once a radiant enchantress feared and respected across the realms, she was now little more than a discarded mistress, whispered about with mockery and pity. Yet even in her shattered state, Elena refused to let her remaining family be destroyed.

For years, Elena endured unimaginable misery as Ryker’s concubine.

Cruel indifference from the man she had once loved with her entire soul. The constant, stabbing pain of watching her daughter Lumina grow up as an illegitimate child ignored, ridiculed, and denied the love and status she deserved.

Still, Elena never gave up.

Quietly, desperately, she began cultivating in secret. Every night, long after the palace slept, she trained and meditated in hidden corners, slowly gathering what little power she could reclaim. She planned to restore her full strength the moment Lumina turned eight the sacred age when an enchantress’s true power awakens.

But Ryker discovered her plan.

In a moment of panic, he confessed everything to Aden. Though he claimed to care for his daughter, the thought of facing a fully empowered Elena and her justified wrath terrified him. The two kings made a cold, ruthless decision.

Just hours before the celestial alignment that would allow Elena to fully restore her power, they ordered her assassination.

Elena caught wind of the plot at the final moment. In sheer desperation, she grabbed young Lumina and fled with her to the hidden sanctuary, the same place of power where the three sisters had once drawn their greatest strength.

As the celestial alignment reached its peak, Elena’s power surged back into her body in a glorious way. For one breathtaking moment, she felt whole again powerful, radiant, and free.

But she knew there was no time to run.

With a mother’s fierce, unbreakable love, Elena made the ultimate sacrifice.

She transferred almost all of her regained power into her daughter.

Then, to protect Lumina from the kings’ endless pursuit and the overwhelming danger of such she performed one final, heartbreaking spell.

She blinded Lumina’s beautiful silver eyes and sealed the transferred power deep inside her locking it away until the day Lumina found the one person destined to stand beside her as her true partner, the one who could safely help her awaken.

Only then did Elena’s body finally give out. She collapsed beside her sleeping daughter, dying with her final breath spent protecting the last light she had left in this cruel world.

PRESENT

Ashen stood speechless in the grand throne room, his entire body shaking violently. Hot tears of rage and disbelief burned down his face as he stared at his father, the man he had once admired and looked up to with pure horror.

"You... you are a devil," Ashen whispered, his voice cracking. "You are a demon. Was this why you never wanted Lumina to be with me? Because you were scared she would remind you of my mother? Of our mother? How could you be so evil?!"

King Aden remained seated on his throne, cold and unmoved, his face carved from ice.

Ashen’s legs gave out beneath him. He crashed hard onto his knees, slamming his fists against the marble floor until blood smeared across the stone.

"Why.." he choked out, voice breaking with unbearable pain.

Even through his agony, a desperate sense of duty flickered inside him. He lifted his tear-streaked face to his father.

"Father... how can you be so heartless?"

"Well I don’t regret my action... our legacy cannot end this way. Drakonis cannot fall. Lumina is badly hurt. We need to protect the realm. So you must summon the dragon..."

Ashen shook his head violently, trying to regain control, "Father... I can’t believe this."

Suddenly, a deep, earth-shaking growl echoed from outside the palace. The entire throne room trembled.

With the speed of light, a powerful figure appeared in the center of the hall in a violent burst of silver and violet energy.

"Seraphina." Aden called out in shock.

Her eyes burned with silver fire as she glared at both Aden and Ashen, her presence alone making the air feel thick and oppressive.

"How dare you?!" Seraphina’s voice thundered through the hall like the wrath of the heavens. "How dare you extend your cruelty and stupidity to Lumina?! How could you hurt her? HOW?!"

Ashen collapsed fully onto the floor, bowing his head in shame. "I am sorry... I lost control. I didn’t know what came over me. I never planned to attack her. Please.."

Seraphina silenced him with a sharp wave of her hand. Her fury turned fully toward King Aden.

"You poisoned that child time and time again!" she roared. "Do you know what it took for me to protect her with everything I had? Do you know what my two sisters sacrificed for their children? And what did you do?!"

Her voice rose to a deafening, earth-shaking roar.

"You controlled your own son to hurt her! Because you knew only when he struck her would it truly break her heart!"!Aden looked down, silent.

"I can’t watch my realm die," Aden finally said coldly. "So I have to do everything necessary."

Ashen stared at his father in utter shock. "What...?"

Seraphina’s eyes blazed with pure contempt. "My niece tried to protect you. She wanted to let go of the old grudges. She wanted peace for everyone. But you hurt her anyway."

She turned to Ashen, her voice icy and filled with disappointment.

"I knew it... Being in love is the greatest mistake ever. Even when you don’t realize it, you can still be controlled like a puppet." Ashen was at a loss for words.

Then Seraphina raised her hand. Lumina’s unconscious body suddenly floated into the throne room from the healing sanctum, gently wrapped in protective silver light.

Serena ran after it in shock but could do nothing to stop the enchantress.

Lumina’s form landed softly in Seraphina’s arms.

"Today," Seraphina declared, her voice echoing with finality, "Stay clear from her." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

With those fateful words, she vanished in a flash of silver and violet light, taking Lumina with her.
