“You’re beautiful too, Yu’er,” Eggy replied with a smile as she reached out to pinch Little Fishy’s cheeks. “It’s good to be young. Your face is so supple.”

“You’re both very beautiful, so stop buttering each other up and get to work,” Chu Feng interjected.

Eggy would have been annoyed under other circumstances, but they did have more important matters to deal with at hand. She raised her hand, and the power fragment flew into her palm. Moments later, she shook her head.

“I can’t cultivate this.”

“You can’t?” Chu Feng felt regretful.

“While this energy resembles origin energies, it ultimately isn’t it. However, it should be useful to Yu’er’s family members,” Eggy said.

“I have examined it earlier. The power fragment can become more potent by refining it with a powerful bloodline. You might be able to cultivate it after I refine it,” Chu Feng said.

“Refinement? I’m skeptical, but we can give it a try,” Eggy replied as she sat down on the floor.

“Yu’er, I am busy steering the bamboo boat, so why don’t you give it a try?” Chu Feng asked as he casually constructed a refinement formation.

The formation could be channeled by both world spiritists and cultivators. Little Fishy tried channeling the formation, but the effects were less than ideal.

“Let me give it a try.” Chu Feng tried to refine the power fragment with his bloodline. Soon, the power fragment began to transform.

“Incredible, big brother. It looks like my bloodline is lacking compared to yours,” Little Fishy said, though she didn’t look disappointed in the least. She was happy for him.

“Yu’er, your bloodline is no weaker than mine. It’s just that my Heavenly Lightning Bloodline’s nine-colored lightning is more suited for refinement,” Chu Feng replied. He turned to Eggy and asked, “Can you cultivate with it now?”

But Eggy shook her head and replied, “It’s still a no.”
