Chapter 6602: Declaration of War
“Chu Feng, who harmed her?” Ling Xiao asked in horror.
Chu Feng told Ling Xiao and the others what happened.
Ling Xiao and the others didn’t doubt Chu Feng’s words. Instead, they were enraged.
“The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion is rotten to the core. You did well, Chu Feng. Those people deserve death,” Ling Xiao spat.
“Yes, they deserve to die,” Chu Feng replied as he coldly eyed the people behind Ling Xiao.
Ling Xiao hurriedly clarified, “Chu Feng, they are Lord Nianqing’s subordinates. We have left the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion to follow you. We were planning to meet Jie Baobao first before finding a way to contact you. We didn’t expect this to happen.”
Chu Feng would have been delighted under normal circumstances, but he was in no mood to respond to that. In his view, Jie Baobao had landed in this plight because of him. He would feel guilt-ridden if he couldn’t save her.
Seeing Chu Feng’s reaction to Jie Baobao’s plight, Ling Xiao hesitated to tell him about Jie Nianqing’s death, especially considering the infuriating circumstances surrounding her death. He was worried Chu Feng wouldn’t be able to calm down after hearing the news.
But on second thought, there was no way he could conceal such major news.
After some hesitation, Ling Xiao still spoke up in the end. “Chu Feng, there’s something I need to tell you.”
“What is it?”
“Something happened to Lord Nianqing.”
“What did you say?”
Chu Feng was stunned. Ling Xiao’s grim expression made his heart lurch.
“Chu Feng, you have to mentally prepare yourself,” Ling Xiao said.
Before Chu Feng could answer, Little Fishy descended to the ground and landed beside him. She was worried about him.
“Go ahead,” Chu Feng said.
Ling Xiao told Chu Feng about what happened to Jie Nianqing.
Chu Feng listened patiently without interjecting. His face remained impassive, and he didn’t exude killing intent, either. He waited for Ling Xiao to finish his story before asking, “Ling Xiao, is what you said true?”
“I won’t lie about such things, Chu Feng,” Ling Xiao replied.
“Young master Chu Feng, we can vouch for Ling Xiao’s words,” Ling Xiao’s grandfather added.
Chu Feng nodded. He turned to the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members behind Ling Xiao and spoke with a commanding voice, “You have left the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion, right? If so, take off your Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s robes and stow away your tokens.”
The crowd looked at Ling Xiao’s grandfather.
“I’ll follow young master Chu Feng from this day onward.” Ling Xiao’s grandfather declared his stance as he switched to an ordinary robe.
“We’ll follow young master Chu Feng from this day onward!” Ling Xiao and the others declared as they stowed away their tokens and switched to ordinary robes as well.
Chu Feng nodded.
He took out a white jade token. It had runes inscribed on the sides, but its center was empty. Like the Seven Realms Edict, it could transmit information across the entire world of cultivation.
He had acquired this token from the Heavensword Sacred Palace after slaughtering them.
Chu Feng inscribed words on the tokens and formed a hand seal.
The token surged into space in a white beam before abruptly exploding, unleashing a brilliant white light above the Seven Realms Galaxy. It was comparable in scale to the phenomenon invoked by Little Fishy, just that it wasn’t magnificent.
It was just a simple line of words.
“I, Chu Feng, will kill every Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s member I encounter from this day onward.”
There was no explanation. It was a simple declaration. However, it embodied the sheer wrath Chu Feng felt.
...
The words caught the attention of everyone across the world of cultivation.
Chu Feng’s unique aura was imbued in those words, and there was no way to fabricate that. Thus, no one doubted that the words were from Chu Feng. But they were still surprised by the declaration.
The grudge between Chu Feng and the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion was famous, but all along, the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had been the one hunting Chu Feng down.
Chu Feng might have accomplished many astounding feats, but he was still lacking compared to the number one power in the world of cultivation. The Seven Realms Sacred Mansion had a strong foundation, and Jie Tianran was also unfathomably powerful.
Yet, Chu Feng still waged war on the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion. Was there any chance of him winning this war?
Many powers were confused, including the Netherworld Sect.
In the Undying Starfield, the Netherworld Sect’s experts stared at the Seven Realms Galaxy.
Baili Xukong sneered, “Chu Feng must be desperate. He speaks arrogantly, but does he have the strength to back his words?”
The Netherworld Sect had witnessed Jie Tianran’s capability. Yes, Chu Feng did have many tricks up his sleeve, but he stood no chance in a direct confrontation against the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion.
Not to mention that the Netherworld Sect was backing the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion now.
...
Many bizarre entities lurked in the innermost depths of the Hidden Dragon Martial Sect, from a giant whose head reached the clouds to an old man who was less than a meter tall. If one had to point out a similarity among them, it would be that they were all unfathomably powerful.
But all of these powerful entities were looking at a giant dragon silhouette. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
“Lord Long Xie, the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion is going overboard. No matter what, Chu Feng is still a disciple of our Hidden Dragon Martial Sect. Are we not going to stand up for him?” the short old man asked.
“It’s not time for us to intervene yet,” Lord Long Xie replied with closed eyes, a stark contrast to the agitated crowd.
In his view, this was just a trivial issue.
...
Sikong Changsheng stood on the walls of the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s main city, looking at the humongous words Chu Feng had written above the Seven Realms Galaxy.
Rage simmered in his eyes.
A huge army stood behind him.
They comprised Long Chengyu, Long Muxi, the Totem Dragon Clan’s Clan Chief, the Totem Dragon Clansmen, the Totem Nine Daoists, Huahua, Xia Xingchen, and many others.
All of them understood that Chu Feng had just waged war on the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion. They wanted to leave this place to aid Chu Feng, but they couldn't do so at the moment.
“Milord, please let us leave.”
“Milord, we owe young hero Chu Feng our lives. We have been waiting for a chance to repay our debt. This is our chance. We can’t let him fight alone!”
The crowd spoke up.
“I haven’t received any news from Chu Feng. Until then, my job is to ensure your safety,” Sikong Changsheng replied.
All of a sudden, his eyes lit up. A group of people was making their way toward the Ancestral Martial Spiritist Sect’s main city.
The leader of the group shouted, “Why are you still hiding in there? It’s about time to let the world know about the Chu Clan Alliance.”
Sensing the auras of those people, the Totem Dragon Clan’s Clan Chief and the others trembled in excitement. Some even cheered aloud and began dancing in joy.
Even Sikong Changsheng was surprised. A faint smile formed on his lips.
...
In the Nine Souls Galaxy was a hidden realm that appeared to be manifested from a treasure. On the highest mountain peak, Song Changsheng was currently meditating with closed eyes.
A ten-year-old boy ran over and shouted, “Master, look at the Seven Realms Galaxy!”
Song Changsheng opened his eyes and looked over. His usually composed eyes widened in surprise. “Chu Feng, is that the decision you have made?”
“Master, why did Chu Feng suddenly wage war on the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion? Did something happen?” the boy asked out of curiosity.
Song Changsheng formed a hand seal to enhance his sight, sharpening his gaze to the point where it could peer through anything. He looked toward the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion.
“Jie Nianqing has emerged from her closed-door training to confront Jie Tianran. Jie Tianran sentenced Jie Nianqing to death for betraying the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion and ordered his brethren to lynch her to death. In the end, he refined Jie Nianqing and his brethren into cultivation resources.”
“Jie Tianran refined his wife into a cultivation resource? He’s a monster!” The boy was horrified. He finally understood why Chu Feng was so angry. “Master, Miaomiao is on close terms with Chu Feng. She’d rush to help him if she was still around. Since Miaomiao has entered the Ninth Galaxy, should we help him on her behalf?”
“I won’t get involved in such matters,” Song Changsheng replied.
The boy was disappointed.
But what Song Changsheng said next delighted him. “But you can help him on Miaomiao’s behalf if you want.”
