Chapter 6616: I, Song Changsheng’s Disciple, Have Come to Help
As soon as they emerged from the teleportation formation, a sealing formation enveloped the entire realm, trapping them in place. Even the teleportation formation they had just stepped out of had been rendered useless.
It was an ambush, and there was nowhere for them to retreat.
Everyone looked nervous, including Ling Xiao and the guild leader. The enemy had come prepared.
The only one who remained fearless was the lunatic. It felt as if she had already seen past life and death.
Little Fishy didn’t speak, but she was prepared to make a move. She was currently the strongest one in Chu Feng’s group.
“Elder,” Chu Feng called the Divine Deer.
“I know. I’ll bring you to safety if the situation looks dire,” the Divine Deer replied.
Very few people were capable of restricting the Divine Deer’s powers. No one had ever succeeded in doing so aside from the golden-haired woman in the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s ancestral land.
“You people have really betrayed the Sacred Mansion to join Chu Feng. You deserve to die a thousand times over!” a furious voice dripping with murderous intent boomed from the sky.
Three figures stepped forth.
One was a white-haired elder wearing the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s robes. His name was Jie Tongyou, a rank four Heavenly Dragon World Spiritist. He had once participated in the Saint-tier Elder Selection, and while he wasn’t chosen, he still commanded great prestige.
The other two were dressed in the Netherworld Sect’s robes.
Chu Feng recognized one of them—it was Wuma Hanshuang, Wen Xue’s master in the Netherworld Sect. Chu Feng didn’t expect Wen Xue to spare Wuma Hanshuang, and he also didn’t think that the Netherworld Sect would forgive her so easily, either.
“Kikikiki. Lady Luck must be shining on me. I didn’t expect to score such a big fish. That beautiful lass must be Xianhai Yu’er, right?” the third person standing alongside Jie Tongyou and Wuma Hanshuang spoke.
He was not wearing the Netherworld Sect’s bamboo veil hat, allowing Chu Feng and the others to see his face.
It was an emaciated old man, whose body was skin and bones. His face was pale, similar to that of a terminally ill patient. He looked like an old monster who had lived for countless years. Despite his old age, his behavior resembled that of a sly rat who was constantly up to no good.
His lustful eyes were fixed on Little Fishy.
“She lives up to her reputation as the number one beauty of the current era, but she looks nothing more than a lass. I don’t feel the air of a Heavenly God from her. Lass, tell me the truth. You weren’t the one who defeated Xiahou Jue, right?” the skeleton old man said.
“You can give it a try,” Little Fishy replied with cold eyes.
“Hahaha! Sure, I’ll give it a try. Do you think I’d fear a mere lass?”
The skeleton old man’s aura flared, revealing his rank four Heavenly God level cultivation. Clearly, he was a notable figure in the Netherworld Sect, and it would be safe to assume that he could raise his cultivation by a rank like Xiahou Jue.
“Be careful, Yu’er. Those two are likely able to raise their cultivation by a rank like Xiahou Jue,” Chu Feng said.
“Don’t worry, big brother.” Little Fishy beamed a radiant smile at Chu Feng.
She didn’t seem to view this situation as a threat to her.
She turned to the trio in the sky, and her radiant smile morphed over into chilling frostiness. “Such trash is nothing in my eyes. I can easily deal with a dozen of them, let alone two.”
Chu Feng’s words were relayed via voice transmission, but Little Fishy spoke aloud.
“Arrogant lass. Let’s see how long you can keep that bravado. Wuma Hanshuang, you stay back. I shall see what the lass who triggered a galaxy-level phenomenon is capable of,” the skeleton old man sneered.
But Jie Tongyou interjected, “Chu Feng and Xianhai Yu’er have murdered many of my brethren, and they are colluding with our traitors. Please allow me to personally apprehend them.”
While speaking, he formed a hand seal and unleashed a massive formation net upon Chu Feng and the others. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Chu Feng noticed that Jie Tongyou’s spirit power was different from the one that sealed off the realm. It would appear that the sealing formation was powered by a treasure instead.
Shoosh shoosh shoosh!
All of a sudden, a golden sword swooped in from the horizon and shredded Jie Tongyou’s formation net apart before returning from the direction it came from.
The crowd immediately turned their gaze over.
A little hand appeared out of thin air to grab the golden sword.
The golden sword was inscribed with runes. It was a God Armament enhanced by a formation.
“Another lass?” the skeleton old man remarked upon seeing the little hand. He didn’t look nervous despite the intruder; if anything, he looked excited.
“You’re the lass! I am your ancestor!” a childlike voice echoed.
The intruder revealed himself. It was a ten-year-old boy. He didn’t have flattering facial features, but he had an air of goofiness that made him appear adorable.
“It’s him?” Chu Feng exclaimed.
He had met the boy before. Song Changsheng had appeared together with the boy at the Dragon Spring Chamber.
The boy rested his golden sword on his shoulder before turning to Chu Feng. “You don’t need to worry, Chu Feng. I have come in my master’s name to aid you. No one will be able to hurt you under my watch. I’ll deal with those three old things. You can watch the show from the side!”
After saying his piece, the boy charged at the three old men.
“Big brother, who’s that?” Little Fishy asked.
‘He seems to be Elder Song Changsheng’s disciple,” Chu Feng replied.
“Doesn’t that make him Miss Miaomiao’s junior?”
“I think he is Miaomiao’s senior.”
The boy might appear young, but he had come under Song Changsheng’s tutelage before Xian Miaomiao.
Boom!
A loud explosion echoed.
Chu Feng and Little Fishy widened their eyes in astonishment.
The boy crawled up from the ground, cloaked in dust. There was a footprint on his chest. One of the three old men must have stamped him down.
“Don’t worry. It’s been too long since I last fought that I have gotten rusty. I’ll cripple them right now!” The boy wiped off the blood from the corner of his lips before rising into the sky once more.
Moments later, he crashed back into the ground.
This time, the boy was bleeding not just from his mouth but from his eyes, nostrils, and ears as well. He must have received considerable internal injuries from the previous attack.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine. I’m just rusty because I haven’t fought in a while.”
Despite the boy’s bravado, Chu Feng heard the other party’s bones creak as he returned to his feet. That was clearly the sound of a fracture.
