Chapter 1093: Fun-1
The Vampires tore forward, each of them wielding various weapons, their bodies crossing the distance in less than a second with terrifying speed and precision. Anthony simply inhaled as though he was taking in the moment itself, savoring the imminent clash, a wide grin appearing on his face; like a bullet fired from a gun, he shot forward, his fist clenching tightly as he punched at an incoming blade with cataclysmic impact.
The cosmic air exploded outward with pure madness as space quivered violently under the force of the attack; in the very next moment, the blade shattered completely under the force of Anthony’s punch. The Vampire’s eyes widened in shock, but Anthony didn’t stop; his hand moved again as he unleashed another devastating punch at the Vampire’s gut. The overwhelming force pushed the Vampire violently backwards, his back collapsing harshly against a distant star behind him.
But Anthony didn’t chase; another Vampire closed in on him instantly, this time wielding a massive hammer that tore downwards upon his head as though the blood-sucking being intended to crush him completely where he stood. But Anthony didn’t dodge; instead, he turned to face the incoming attack, his left foot blurring upwards as he met the blunt-force strike with nothing but his toes.
The wind screamed in agony as Anthony stopped the attack as though it were nothing more than child’s play; using the same left foot, he pushed the attack aside effortlessly, his body shifting fluidly together with his waist, his left leg landing as his right leg tore forward with explosive force, his foot heel collapsing into the Vampire’s jaw with a world-rending burst that echoed across the void.
Two attacks, two Vampires handled with absolute dominance.
But in the next moment, countless blood constructs filled his vision entirely, their numbers reaching into the millions, an overwhelming and suffocating tide of destruction, yet Anthony didn’t dodge or block with Infinity; he was here to have a bit of fun. Instead, he shifted into a precise martial stance, his body blurring repeatedly as it met every incoming blood construct with flawless martial precision, his fists, legs, and knees shattering every construct into fragments upon impact.
His body moved faster than a blink, faster than a thought, faster than light itself could ever hope to travel. His form seemed to multiply in that instant, leaving countless overlapping afterimages that distorted perception itself.
But the Vampires weren’t done; seeing Anthony destroy the constructs that could tear planets apart, they immediately switched tactics as the next moment, the remaining constructs brightened with space-purging force and chaotic intensity, and with that, a titanic blood explosion erupted outward, expanding for thousands of kilometres in radius, consuming stars, asteroids, and everything in its devastating path.
The Vampires paused, their eyes fixed on the smoke and the centre of destruction as though they wanted to confirm whether they had at least managed to injure him. After all, this was God Anthony they were battling. But as the smoke cleared, Anthony stood without a single scratch, his clothes pristine as though the clouds of dust had never even reached him. He raised a hand and dusted his shoulder as though brushing away debris, yet there was nothing there.
Seeing him, another Vampire immediately sprang into action; a surge of blood energy boomed violently around her, gathering with potent force that seemed even greater than the explosion they had just unleashed. The blood energy condensed around her palm, and without hesitation, she fired it directly toward Anthony, space collapsing around the attack as it tore forward with overwhelming force.
Anthony’s grin only widened as he observed the incoming attack; he raised a hand as mana pulsed wildly, gathering into a concentrated point as he charged his own beam attack. It converged precisely above his index and middle fingers, and with a world-rending burst, the mana beam tore forward to meet it.
And with ruinous, apocalyptic force, reality fractured as the two beams, mana and blood energy, collided violently. The space at the point at which they met gave way entirely as the void came into existence, yet even then, Anthony and the Vampire only increased their output as though they possessed infinite energy to expend.
In the blink of an eye, two other Vampires appeared beside Anthony from his left and right; they could not simply stand idle. The moment they appeared, they utilized shadow abilities, one forming binding chains that sought to restrain him in place, while the other formed slicing waves of shadow that aimed to tear him into pieces.
Their speed and suddenness of attack would have caught even a seasoned veteran off guard, but Anthony was no mere veteran; even Klaus could not match him when it came to pure battle experience. His grin remained as, in the next instant, he vanished from where he stood, and in the following moment, the Vampire unleashing the blood energy beam appeared in his previous position, while Anthony appeared in her location as they swapped places through his absurd spatial manipulation.
Before the Vampire could even comprehend what had occurred, she was torn to shreds by the attacks of her own comrades. Anthony, now standing at her original position, simply turned his attention to the other Vampires floating nearby.
Before one could react, he seized the man by the shoulder and the head, and with an ease that made it seem as though he were tearing paper, he ripped the man’s head clean from his shoulders. Flesh tore freely without resistance; the Vampire’s spinal cord remained grotesquely connected to the brain, following along as the head separated, leaving the body behind as blood splattered into the void.
And without hesitation, Anthony crushed the head with a simple clench of his fist; then, without missing a beat, he unleashed a devastating punch onto the headless body’s chest. And with a resounding boom, the headless body was sent hurtling into a nearby planet with overwhelming force.
But as Vampires, the man simply regenerated his head with ease. Anthony didn’t mind; he was here to have fun, and the man’s return to life only meant more entertainment for him, and more horrific methods of death for the Vampire to endure.
The other Vampires had already blurred backwards, putting distance between themselves and Anthony due to the wicked and sickening method of killing. But as they created that distance, Anthony simply erased it.
"Why are you running? Didn’t your queen order you to attack? Are you disobeying your queen?" Anthony mocked as he appeared before another Vampire.
But before the man could even speak, Anthony seized the man’s head from both sides with his hands, then, using his thumbs, forced them into the man’s eyes with vicious delight.
"Aaaarrghhh!!!" The man screamed at the top of his lungs, his hands desperately trying to pry Anthony’s hands away from his eyes, but it was futile; the difference in strength was overwhelming.
"Why are you screaming? Aren’t you at the Apexus Mana Rank? Your tolerance for pain is supposed to be high," Anthony replied as the Vampire’s blood flowed down his fingers and hands. With a wet, tearing sound, the man’s eyes were ripped apart as Anthony’s thumbs forced their way into his brain, tearing through it completely.
The body went limp immediately; seeing this, Anthony simply tossed him aside like a discarded toy. Since he was dead for the moment, Anthony had no use for him at all.
