Chapter 1103: The Shadow Soldiers-4
Bellion floated with calm ease, his posture relaxed yet commanding as he observed his two opponents with an indifferent expression. Although he desired battle, he did not derive any form of satisfaction from overpowering those weaker than himself; however, at this moment, there were no stronger adversaries available, as the truly powerful foes were preoccupied with his liege.
His eyes briefly shifted to the side, where he could see Anthony tearing through the organs of a Vampire with brutal efficiency. After witnessing that display of unrestrained brutality, Bellion quietly tore his gaze away, as it had nothing to do with him and did not concern his current engagement.
"What is an Angel doing here?" the first Vampire asked, his voice laced with suspicion as he stared intently at Bellion.
"Is Anthony now siding with the Angels? Is he betraying his home Galaxy?" the second Vampire added, both of them clearly misunderstanding the situation and drawing their own misguided conclusions.
Bellion could not be bothered to explain anything, nor did he feel the need to correct their assumptions. Instead, he simply remained floating in place with composed ease, silently contemplating whether he should eliminate them both with a single attack or prolong the encounter slightly.
’What a drag,’ he thought to himself with faint irritation. ’I need to fight those Twelve winged Angels, or perhaps even a Thirteen winged one, not these Vampires.’ He gave a slight shake of his head, almost dismissively.
"It’s two against one. Leave the boy here, and you can leave, we will spare you," one of the Vampires spoke, his tone confident despite the disparity in power.
Bellion turned his gaze briefly toward Rider, who simply floated nearby, watching silently without uttering a single word. Bellion then returned his attention to the two Vampires before him as he spoke in a calm, almost uninterested tone, "Don’t you think you speak too much for individuals of such high standing within your Domain?"
Before the first Vampire could even respond, Bellion closed the distance. His wings did not flap, nor did his body move in any conventional sense, it was as though reality itself had shifted him into position without requiring any physical motion. His palm tore forward, striking the Vampire’s chest with overwhelming force. The man was sent hurtling backwards, his body crashing violently into a distant, lifeless planet devoid of any form of existence.
The second Vampire reacted immediately, thrusting his spear toward Bellion’s throat with lethal intent. Yet Bellion did not even bother to draw his weapon. His hand blurred upward, effortlessly catching the spear between his index and middle fingers, and with a minimal application of force, the weapon shattered into countless fragments.
Before the Vampire could even blink, Bellion’s foot struck his temple with titanic force. The Vampire’s head snapped violently to the side, and his entire body followed due to the sheer momentum, hurtling across space before slamming into the same planet as his companion.
Both opponents were handled with an ease that spoke volumes of the overwhelming difference between them, despite the apparent numerical disadvantage Bellion faced.
Bellion gazed at them calmly before speaking once more, his voice carrying no emotion, "What was that about two versus one... and sparing me?" he asked, floating as though he were the very embodiment or architect of space itself.
The first Vampire responded instantly, his blood-red energy erupting outward in a violent surge. In the next moment, the heavens themselves seemed to be dyed crimson-orange as flames spread endlessly across the vast expanse, enormous fireballs raining down, each one carrying enough destructive power to obliterate stars and entire constellations.
Seeing the incoming barrage, Bellion simply sighed. He raised his hand and gave a casual wave, and in response, the surrounding wind compressed and surged forward, colliding with the incoming flames and extinguishing them entirely with effortless dominance.
"Pathetic," he stated plainly, not out of mockery or disdain, but as a simple observation, devoid of judgment or emotional inflection.
His black eyes shifted toward the Vampires, who were already closing in from both the left and the right simultaneously. The moment they reached striking distance, they unleashed another barrage of flame-based attacks. This time, however, the intensity was significantly greater, the heat warped and melted space itself, distorting reality under its influence.
Yet Bellion did not engage with the attacks. He simply vanished from where he stood, choosing not to block or counter directly. The two attacks collided with one another in a catastrophic explosion, unleashing a storm of searing heat that burned through the surrounding space with an intensity far beyond even that of a star.
Bellion reappeared beside the second Vampire, his movement instantaneous and silent. His hand blurred as he struck, splitting the man cleanly in half at the waist using nothing but the edge of his palm. Blood erupted outward into space, organs spilling freely from the severed halves, yet Bellion showed no reaction. His hand moved again in a fluid continuation, splitting the Vampire from head to lower body, dividing him into four equal parts with horrifying ease.
His head turned sharply toward the first Vampire, who immediately attempted to retreat, his body blurring backwards in desperation. But the moment he moved, his back collided with Bellion, who was already standing behind him.
The Vampire’s head snapped backward, his eyes wide with shock and dawning fear as he failed to comprehend how Bellion had repositioned himself so effortlessly.
Before he could utter a single word, Bellion’s hand clamped down firmly on his head, while his other hand remained calmly resting behind his back. With devastating force, he crushed the Vampire’s skull, bone collapsing instantly under the pressure, blood spraying outward as fragments of brain matter drifted into the void of space.
Yet even then, the Vampires regenerated almost instantly.
Without hesitation, both of them vanished from their positions. They wasted no time, they immediately activated their life-saving artifacts, disappearing completely rather than attempting to flee conventionally, as they clearly understood that escape through movement alone was impossible against Bellion.
Bellion made no effort to pursue them. Instead, he simply turned and reappeared beside Rider, closing his eyes as he resumed floating in calm, undisturbed stillness.
Rider could only watch in stunned awe. He recalled Anthony mentioning that his Shadow Soldiers possessed power at the Planetary level. Hearing such a statement was one thing, but witnessing it firsthand was an entirely different experience altogether.
’Are they all this strong?’ he wondered silently. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
But then he remembered, Anthony had specifically stated that these four were his strongest.
Rider slowly shook his head. After witnessing Anthony effortlessly handle the Space Bandits and now seeing his Shadow Soldiers dominate Apexus Mana Rank Vampires with such overwhelming ease, the concept of Planetary-level strength suddenly felt... underwhelming.
Yet he knew better.
It wasn’t that such power was insignificant, it was simply that Anthony, and those who stood beneath him, existed far beyond what could be considered normal.
