After all, Pan Shi’s strength was there for all to see, and although Zhou Tian could force his opponent to retreat with the Human Emperor’s immortal body, when it came to their true strength, Zhou Tian was far from being his opponent.

As expected, when Zhou Tian prepared to hold Pan Shi back and initiated action, his move immediately proved to be highly effective.

Often, just as Pan Shi was about to run, hardly getting far, Zhou Tian would catch up to him. After being caught up to by Zhou Tian, although Pan Shi wouldn’t be brought down easily, avoiding a major battle became inescapable.

Clearly, when Zhou Tian engaged Pan Shi in combat, the latter’s planned retreat would inevitably run into trouble. Zhou Tian was no weakling. Focusing solely on escape scarcely offered Pan Shi a chance to disengage, and under such circumstances, with Zhou Tian’s attacks impossible to ignore, Pan Shi naturally faced continuous threats.

However, although his idea to escape the battle situation had failed, this did not mean Pan Shi was ready to give up.

Even then, Pan Shi had never imagined that, with Zhou Tian’s strength, he could be killed. Yet, facing an opponent as unkillable as Zhou Tian, Pan Shi truly found it vexing. If once did not work, then try twice. Compared to battling with Zhou Tian, no matter how much effort it would take, Pan Shi would definitely not mind trying to escape if there was any chance.
