The scene opened in chaos. A sharp sound echoed as a bullet struck Mr. Nobody’s right arm. Blood spilt instantly, running down his sleeve. His body staggered from the impact.

"Mr.Nobody, save me!" Toma’s voice rang out.

A faint screen flickered in front of Nobody’s eyes.

Everything blurred, then suddenly it was gone.

It was after that wedding event day.

Mr. Nobody and Toma were walking along a quiet street. The evening felt calm. Cars passed occasionally and the distant noise of the city filled the air.

Toma glanced at him."Do you live alone?"

Nobody stayed silent for a moment. "Yeah."

"Where are your parents?" Toma asked.

Nobody’s steps slowed slightly. The word parents felt distant and empty. "Did I even have them? The writers never added that part to this story. There was nothing to remember to begin with."

Toma noticed his silence."I think you might have had a difficult past. Forget I asked. You don’t have to answer."

Nobody replied quietly, "No, it’s okay. They’re fine. They live in Hanok village. We just don’t talk much anymore." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Toma nodded."I want to meet them someday."

Nobody said, "Maybe one day, I guess."

For a moment, things felt normal again.

Then everything changed. A black car rushed toward them and stopped abruptly. The sound of brakes cut through the street. The doors opened, and several large men stepped out, some holding knives, others guns.

Nobody reacted immediately."Toma, stay behind me."

The system window appeared again.

Nobody’s voice tightened."Kidnapping?"

"Take the girl."

"Alright, boss."

"If you want to take her, you have to go over my dead body." Nobody said with a loud voice.

"Ha ha ha! Look at this puny brat. Hey, move aside, mushrum head." One of the men rushed forward and shoved Nobody aside easily. He stumbled, unable to resist. Another man grabbed Toma.

"Let go of me! Who are you, people?"

Nobody tried to move. He forced himself forward, trying to use the system skills.

His body stopped."Damn it... Now of all times!!"

He pushed again, but it was useless. One of the men raised a gun. A shot rang out.

"Nooo!" Toma shouted.

He dropped to one knee, struggling to stay conscious.

"Don’t hurt him!" Toma cried."Mr. Nobody!"

She struggled, but they forced her into the car.

"Nobody! Nobody!"

The door slammed shut. The engine roared, and the car sped away.

Mr.Nobody reached out, but his hand fell before he could do anything. The street became quiet again.

His body felt heavy. His vision blurred as the blood kept dripping.

And the last thing he heard before everything went dark was Toma’s voice calling his name.

Am I really a powerless nobody?
