Chapter 923: Chapter 923: Amoreland

The amusement park’s address was right next to the adjacent commercial street, and the nighttime foot traffic was rather dense.

Seeing the amusement park suddenly operating at night, yet there weren’t any visitors going in or out, instead, it sparked curiosity among the passersby.

Coupled with the amusement park’s enchanting design, as if it was brought straight out of a fairy tale movie, it caused many to stop and take pictures.

The name "Amoreland" also made many think of the renowned loving couple, Shane Warner and Audrey Sutton.

A grand feast inside the castle was underway, marking Audrey Sutton’s birthday as one for the ages.

After everyone finished eating and drinking, they began to play around in the garden.

Barry Barrett pulled Vanessa and Lana onto the carousel, joyfully saying, "This is so blissful, finally no need to queue!" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

Norman Sutton stood by Lana and said, "Lana, come down. Let me take you to the Ferris wheel; this is so boring, don’t play with them!"

However, Lana was too happy to hear what Norman Sutton was saying. Left with no choice, he joined them, sitting on the horse closest to Lana.

Although this amusement park was built for Audrey Sutton, due to her pregnancy, Shane Warner only took her on the Ferris wheel.

Stopping at the highest point, the two romantically admired the city nightscape inside the compartment.

The crowd outside the park kept growing, serving as free publicity; even though the park hadn’t officially opened yet, "Amoreland" had already climbed into the trending topics.

On the street outside, Gwen Grant pushed Miles Sterling, who was sitting in a wheelchair, along the sidewalk.

Noticing the bright lights and crowd gathered around the park area, Gwen Grant felt a bit curious and said to Miles Sterling, "Seems like the amusement park is about to open, shall we go and have a look?"

Miles Sterling didn’t say anything, seemingly uninterested in any of this.

Yet now mobility impaired, his mind only held memories from having woken up at the hospital.

Although he never recalled Gwen Grant, during this period, Gwen Grant stayed by his side unwaveringly.

Before discharge, Gwen Grant remained at the hospital day in and day out, running up and down; once discharged, she would daily take him out for a wheelchair stroll.

Miles Sterling couldn’t remember being in love with Gwen Grant, but he was sure Gwen Grant loved him; otherwise, why would she stay by his side so loyally?

Gwen Grant pushed Miles Sterling to the gate, only then realizing the park entrance wasn’t open yet. She regrettably said, "Seems like they’re still testing, supposed to officially open tomorrow, shall we come back for a visit then?"

Miles Sterling didn’t respond much; since waking, he had become taciturn, something Gwen Grant had grown accustomed to.

The carousel was just to the right of the gate, not too far from the amusement park’s entrance.

While Gwen Grant was smiling and talking to Miles Sterling, she suddenly saw Vanessa Sterling on the carousel.

Her smile instantly froze, eyes affixed as she carefully verified that the girl indeed was Vanessa Sterling; she immediately pushed Miles Sterling in another direction: "Let’s come back tomorrow, shall we? Let’s look over there and head back, okay?"

Miles Sterling lightly answered, "Mm," his gaze following the wheelchair’s direction, accurately landing on Vanessa Sterling amidst the crowded scene.

Though far away and unable to clearly see Vanessa Sterling’s face, a vivid image of a girl’s face flashed in his mind, the two faces gradually merging...

"Wait." Miles Sterling suddenly spoke, halting Gwen Grant.
