My Ability Pool is Superior
Chapter 202 - 201: All Villains
"Get out of the way!"
On Peace Branch Road, two men covered in blood were shouting while pushing away pedestrians in front of them.
A large group of thugs wielding weapons chased desperately behind them.
A rough headcount showed there were no less than a hundred people.
The pedestrians along the way weren’t frightened by the street violence; they just took a few steps back in surprise and watched the commotion.
The two fleeing men looked panicked, their eyes filled with fear as they ran desperately forward.
Under their influence, the street became chaotic, with increasing disorder.
Xiang Heizhi knew they couldn’t keep fleeing like this. After violently pushing through a crowd, he immediately pulled his little brother and turned into a nearby alley.
They then ran wildly for a stretch, stopping deep in a secluded area, leaning against a wall and gasping heavily for air.
"Damn! Looks like we really screwed up this time."
Xiang Heizhi punched the wall behind him, collected his thoughts, and turned to look at the only loyal follower who escaped with him.
He comforted, "Xiaoli, I see your loyalty clearly, rest assured, as long as we’re alive, there’s always a chance to rise again!"
Xiaoli grinned, wincing as he pulled on his wound.
"Ugh... That’s right, Xiang, I believe in you. When you rise again, I’ll still be your follower."
Before they finished speaking, they noticed a silhouette appeared out of thin air at the alley entrance.
Blocking the alley was a young man, seemingly harmless, with a flowing cape draped over his shoulder, resembling one worn by naval officers.
Lv Bai turned around, showing them the backside of the cape.
On it were two flamboyant words — Evil.
Xiang Heizhi swallowed hard. Though he couldn’t understand Lv Bai’s meaning, he felt a sense of foreboding.
"Quite distinctive, isn’t it? I plan to use this as the uniform for our organization."
Lv Bai chuckled and turned back around, "This new organization, I plan to call it ’All Villains’."
"You..."
Upon hearing this, Xiang Heizhi immediately realized Lv Bai’s identity, "Could it be that you are the Brother Bai White Shark talked about?"
If he was a martial artist, even if Lv Bai looked non-threatening, Xiang Heizhi dared not act rashly.
"It’s me."
Lv Bai nodded.
With this confirmation, Xiang Heizhi’s face showed a complex expression, abandoning any hope.
After a long silence, he took a deep breath and said, "Alright, you have skills, I concede, but I really don’t understand why, as a martial artist, you’d get involved in our level of conflict?"
Lv Bai tilted his head slightly, "Because White Shark cried poverty to me a few days ago."
This answer left Xiang Heizhi at a loss, feeling both amused and helpless.
However, having mixed in Chikan Bay for so many years, he knew better than to stubbornly hold onto pride when it was time to yield.
He decisively knelt before Lv Bai, "Brother Bai, I, Old Xiang, can tell you’re extraordinary, please allow me to join ’All Villains’."
Not only did he kneel quickly himself, he also pulled his follower down with him.
Seeing this, Lv Bai’s eyelid twitched.
"I can tell from your appearance that you’d dare to do anything except good; you just lack an opportunity."
"Brother Bai!"
Xiang Heizhi suddenly looked up, eyes brimming with tears, "You judge character accurately."
Lv Bai leaned down, gently stroking Xiang Heizhi’s head.
"In that case, I won’t feel guilty for getting rid of you."
"?!"
Crack~
A clear sound of bones breaking echoed through the silent alley.
Realizing what happened, Xiaoli’s face turned ashen.
He quickly scrambled up from the ground, let out a furious shout, and punched towards Lv Bai in front of him.
This was not only for avenging his boss Xiang but also to fight for his own survival.
Unfortunately, for the current Lv Bai, such an attack posed no threat.
Turning his head to easily dodge the punch, raising his left hand to brush past Xiaoli’s arm, pressing his palm onto Xiaoli’s face and slamming him to the ground.
Lv Bai’s actions were brutal, yet his tone sounded unusually gentle.
"I didn’t say I’d kill you too, did I?"
Xiaoli struggled to lift his neck, trying to meet Lv Bai’s gaze.
"In this life, loyalty comes first!"
Lv Bai couldn’t tell whether this guy was posturing or genuinely bold, so he simply twisted Xiaoli’s head off as well.
Moments later, White Shark emerged with a few followers.
"Brother Bai, are you alright?"
"Despite being prepared, they still escaped two, and in the end, it’s me who had to act. Little Shark, don’t you want to improve?"
Lv Bai was quite dissatisfied with White Shark’s efficiency.
Initially, swallowing nearby forces was about making money.
But as the domain expanded, Lv Bai began considering using these gangs for his purposes.
It was unavoidable.
After stepping into the Grandmaster Realm, Lv Bai quickly realized Inner Power Body Tempering is a long, meticulous process.
At the current rate of tempering, fully infusing Inner Power would take at least half a year.
That, too, depends on having ample nutrition and resources.
Will this deadly duel last that long?
Lv Bai couldn’t be sure, but likely wouldn’t allow him peaceful training before emerging again.
On this basis, he didn’t even choose to temper his whole body but concentrated Inner Power on tempering his right arm alone.
At least this way, he ensures strong offensive capabilities in the short term.
"Brother Bai, I am eager to improve."
White Shark slightly panicked and said cautiously, "This time it’s my oversight, please punish me!"
It’s worth mentioning that this former leader of the White Shark Gang now bears little resentment towards Lv Bai.
In fact, he quite enjoys these recent changes.
Previously, he only owned a few hotels. Now, taking advantage of Lv Bai’s backing, other forces’ territories and manpower are within grasp, vastly increasing his control, only secondary to Lv Bai.
Such days, he wished to last longer.
"Let it be a warning."
Lv Bai glanced at him before retracting his gaze, "Remember, from now on, ’All Villains’ is the dominant force on Peace Branch Road."
After all, aside from his penchant for grandstanding, White Shark is quite diligent.
If replaced, Lv Bai genuinely wouldn’t know whom to appoint.
Walking out of the alley, he casually added, "By the way, I’ll be leaving Chikan Bay tomorrow for a bit. Don’t cause trouble before I return."
