Little things?

Listening to Summer Shawcross say this, Sherry’s expression was full of disbelief.

Two seconds later, Summer chuckled dryly and then said to her.

"But, this little thing needs your help to finish!"

There was no choice. Yesterday, in order to lure Noah Drexler out and confirm her suspicions were correct, she had to ask Yancy Shaw for help.

However, to fulfill the condition she agreed with him, she still needed Sherry’s help. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

Hearing this, Sherry’s expression turned grim.

She did not believe that this lady would kindly let her and the entire Silvanus Manor go just like that.

After a pause, she suddenly closed the reports in her hand and stood up.

"Shall we talk?"

Summer quickly nodded.

Moments later, in a certain room of the Silvanus Manor hotel.

After Summer told Sherry the whole plan, Sherry was somewhat angry.

"Do you think he’s stupid? How can such a petty trick fool him!"

She knew what kind of man Yancy Shaw was better than anyone; the methods she currently thought of couldn’t fool him.

Summer paused and her expression fell into deep thought.

"But, I think he’ll believe it."

At that time, she asked Yancy Shaw if he believed there were souls in the world. He readily agreed, and his face clearly showed expectation.

So, she felt this trick might work.

"No way, I won’t agree. What if it gets exposed?" Sherry shook her head, resisting with an expression.

Six years have passed; she finally completely said goodbye to the past and began her life anew. She didn’t want to be dragged by that man back into past pain, nor did she want to recall anything from before, not a bit!

Looking at the twisted expression on Sherry’s face, Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but sigh and continued speaking.

"But constantly avoiding him isn’t a solution either. If you’ve really let the past go, you wouldn’t be afraid to see him again."

She felt that hating someone shouldn’t mean being afraid of them!

Just like her, although she hated Dustin Hughes and Melanie Trueman, when meeting them, her heart was only filled with dislike and disdain.

At least when she saw Dustin and Melanie, she wouldn’t panic and avoid them.

But Sherry’s reaction after seeing Yancy was only panic and fear, without the usual strong demeanor she had.

She believed this couldn’t be considered moving on!

After Summer Shawcross spoke, Sherry’s expression froze for a moment.

It was like her inner thoughts were suddenly exposed, and her face turned pale.

Had she not let go... but she had been living quietly for so many years!

She thought she could see him as if he were a stranger, or at worst, with filled hatred...

But indeed, she dared not see him, only wanting to avoid him, to get far away.

She feared, feared he would bring back past pain, feared he would remind her of her old, weak self who was bullied by everyone until she jumped into the river.

Seeing Sherry’s discomfort, Summer Shawcross gently sighed.

"Forget it, I won’t force you."

Thinking, she suddenly said to Sherry.

"Your makeup skills seem pretty useful, can you help me with makeup later, try to make me look more like you."

"You want to impersonate me to see him?" Recognizing her intention, Sherry asked puzzled.

Summer Shawcross nodded and started to speak thoughtfully.
