Shocked ripples spread across the faces of the warriors who witnessed Yuan and the others slowly descending toward the massive border wall, appearing like gods.

"W-Who are these strange people??" one of the confused warriors shouted.

"Unbelievable... They are flying without wings!"

"Look! They are actually flying, without any wings!"

"H-How is this even possible?!?!"

The warriors’ whispers quickly filled the air, and many of them were in disbelief at what they had just witnessed.

Even the kings couldn’t hide their disbelief after witnessing Yuan and the others flying; they could hardly believe their eyes.

’I knew he was something from the beginning, but I didn’t anticipate this at all... he is far from ordinary...’ Lilith’s expression softened at the sight, a jolt of electricity coursing through her body.

The handsome look on Yuan’s face appeared even more marvelous as he stood in the air just a few meters above the border wall.

’Such a strong human... How fascinating. I’ll make sure to make you mine this time.’ A mysterious smirk appeared on her face as she gazed at Yuan.

She couldn’t help but feel a strange heat between her legs, as if something within her had awakened—something that had been sleeping inside her for a very long time.

Suddenly, a massive explosion shook the entire battlefield as a huge ball of fire erupted across the field.

The explosion was so powerful that it sent shockwaves throughout the entire border, making the border wall tremble violently.

Yuan’s hair danced wildly with the powerful wind that followed, his already handsome face looking mesmerizing as the explosion raged behind him.

"Well, I didn’t expect Isolde to cause such a huge explosion as soon as we arrived..." Yuan chuckled softly as he turned his head and looked at the massive cloud of dust covering the entire area.

"W-What?!?! Isolde was the one who caused this explosion?!" disbelief spread across King Evander’s face, his eyes wide and his mouth agape.

Even the other kings were shaken to the very core by this revelation.

As the dust settled, a figure emerged at the center of the explosion, standing tall with a proud grin on her face.

Her crimson hair danced in the wind, and her pale skin glowed under the moonlight.

"It seems I used more force than necessary... I need to get used to my current strength." she muttered softly, letting out a faint sigh after observing the destruction.

Almost half of the undead forces had been obliterated by her devastating attack, leaving not a single bone behind.

Just then, another explosion erupted not far from her, shaking the very ground beneath her feet.

A series of explosions followed by a sharp slashing sound echoed throughout the battlefield as shockwaves rippled across the area.

Nerith was on a rampage; her sword moved so fast that the undead couldn’t even comprehend what had happened before their cores exploded, reducing them to dust.

In just a few seconds, Nerith managed to eliminate the rest of the undead on the battlefield, killing more than a thousand.

"T-This is incredible... I’ve completely wiped out the undead, and yet I don’t feel tired at all... I feel like I could fight for days without resting..." Nerith muttered to herself, disbelief evident in her expression.

Her eyes scanned the entire area, searching for any undead that might have survived her onslaught. Unfortunately, none had escaped.

Meanwhile, Emperor Rhex, King Evander, Queen Lilith, and King Vargan stared at the scene with utter disbelief, their eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.

’W-When did Nerith become so strong?! She completely wiped out the undead like it was nothing!’ Emperor Rhex screamed inside his mind, utterly in disbelief.

The others were also having similar thoughts, as the strength Nerith and Isolde had just displayed was something impossible for them.

Yuan smiled softly after witnessing the looks on their faces and couldn’t help but imagine the expressions they would make if he were to use his full power before them.

He slowly landed on top of the border wall, and his wives followed suit, landing gracefully beside him.

His wives hadn’t made a single move yet, but just from their aura alone, everyone was certain that they were even more powerful than Isolde and Nerith.

"Just what in the world has happened??"

"How did Princess Nerith and Countess Isolde become so powerful?!"

"They completely dominated the battlefield as soon as they arrived! This is simply too unreal for me!"

"All the undead troops have been completely destroyed! And they made it look effortless!"

Soon, whispers erupted among everyone who witnessed the battle, and shock rippled through the entire border as the strength displayed by Nerith and Isolde was too unbelievable for them.

At the same time, many warriors began to celebrate, as they now had two powerful figures to fight against the main force of the undead.

"So, when will the main force of the undead arrive?" Yuan asked Emperor Rhex in a calm voice as he turned his head toward him.

"Huh? Oh, they will be here in a couple of hours, according to the intel we have... still, we should prepare ourselves for a surprise." Emperor Rhex replied after snapping out of his stupor.

"I see... No wonder they are only sending small groups of undead..." Yuan immediately understood what the undead were up to by sending small groups to the border.

’So they want to weaken us first before they arrive, so they can easily destroy the border... What a clever plan...’ A smile appeared on his face.

’Unfortunately for them, their plan has already been ruined by me... I became a variable that the Undead King didn’t expect...’

’I wonder how things will unfold from now on, since Nerith and Isolde have destroyed all the undead the Undead King had sent.’ Yuan smirked inwardly, looking forward to how this battle would continue.

Nerith and Isolde returned to the border wall, standing tall with proud smiles on their faces.

Emperor Rhex and King Evander could sense the changes in both Nerith and Isolde. Unfortunately, they couldn’t pinpoint what had changed within them.

Inside a tent, Emperor Rhex looked at his sister with a fierce expression, his eyes cold and filled with fury.

"Where were you this whole time, Nerith? Because you’re late, we lost many warriors! You could have come earlier, and our people wouldn’t have had to die!" His voice boomed inside the tent, his fists clenched as images flashed through his mind.

"It’s your own negligence that so many people lost their lives today... and for what reason? Because you’re late and because you’re irresponsible!"

Nerith’s lips twitched upon hearing this in irritation, and she barely held herself back from kicking Emperor Rhex because of his absurd claims.

’I’m going to kick his ass once this war ends...’ Nerith swore inwardly with a dangerous look on her face, gritting her teeth in frustration.

"Oh, shut up, will you? I’m not a savior, and this is war, you damn idiot." Nerith sighed as she rolled her eyes, completely ignoring Emperor Rhex’s words.

And with a cold look in her eyes, she continued, "In war, it’s common for people to lose their lives; it’s their own incompetence that leads them to their deaths."

"They should blame themselves for being pathetic... weaklings who can’t even protect their own lives. How can you expect them to protect the border?" Nerith spoke, her voice as cold as ice; she didn’t feel any sympathy for the fallen.

Emperor Rhex stared at her for a couple of moments before leaving the tent in heavy silence, looking utterly defeated.

"Your brother is a kind person, but also fragile... and that is his greatest weakness as well..." Yuan spoke, breaking the silence.

"Unfortunately, that’s what makes him different. But he is still very naive, and I hate it." Nerith replied, biting her lip in frustration.

Yuan smiled softly and wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her into his embrace in front of his wives.

"Don’t worry, the outcome could have been different. But it has already happened, so we can never change it. And to win this war, a few sacrifices are necessary." Yuan whispered softly into her ear, to which she nodded immediately, her face turning bright red.

She still couldn’t get used to being hugged by Yuan in front of so many people; it still made her feel embarrassed.

All the warriors were currently resting while the vampires were on patrol, and the battlefield felt unnaturally quiet for some reason.

Vampire King Evander was hovering high above the border wall, staring in one direction with a pale look on his face.

His entire body trembled uncontrollably at the sight before him—

"W-What in the world am I even looking at..." he gasped, his hands clenching into tight fists.

In the distance, a massive number of undead were advancing, covering a huge portion of the desert with their sheer numbers.

And something enormous was flying above the undead, its massive black frame casting a vast shadow on the ground as it moved along with them.

And they kept appearing as if there were no limit to their numbers, increasing with every passing heartbeat.
