My Celestial Ascension
Chapter 953: Apperance Of The Undead King
A deep silence stretched across the battlefield the moment the allied forces realized something massive had crashed onto the ground, shaking the entire area.
Smoke and dust covered nearly half of the battlefield, preventing anyone from seeing what had just happened.
The allied forces appeared confused by the sudden earthquake that shook the very ground beneath their feet.
"What just happened?!"
"T-The ground... it’s shaking!!"
"Everyone! Get ready! Something huge has crashed onto the battlefield!!"
Everyone immediately became alert, raising their shields to form defensive barriers against any unexpected threat.
The atmosphere grew tense as silence hung heavily in the air; everyone waited for the dust to settle so they could see what had fallen onto the battlefield.
"It seems it’s the right time for me to step out and witness this battle with my own eyes..." Yuan smiled faintly as he opened his eyes inside the tent.
He had been observing the entire battle using his Divine Sense, remaining inside the tent without stepping out.
He was confident that his women could end this war on their own without his help. And just as he had expected, they had now forced the Undead King down to the ground.
Unfortunately, Nerith and Isolde weren’t strong enough to fight against millions of enemies on their own; their cultivation wasn’t sufficient to sustain prolonged combat.
That said, this could change once they grew stronger and advanced further in their cultivation. However, for now, they were still lacking.
"I’ll have Valeria train them properly once this war is over... with her guidance, they will both become powerful forces."
He then stood up and stretched before stepping out of the tent, moving like a phantom and vanishing into thin air.
"Lily really caused quite a scene by dragging the Undead Dragon down and smashing it onto the battlefield... the Undead King must have really angered her." he muttered as he appeared atop the Great Wall.
"Hmm? When did you get here, Hubby? I didn’t even sense your presence." Xi Meili asked, turning toward him with a surprised expression.
"Just now," Yuan replied with a faint smile. "You didn’t notice me because you were too focused on the battlefield and stopped paying attention to your surroundings."
"Whatever, those insects can’t harm me anyway." Xi Meili replied with a smile before stepping closer and hugging him tightly.
"And besides, won’t you protect me?" she asked while looking into his eyes, making an innocent expression.
Looking at her face, Yuan had no way of refusing. She looked too adorable, making him chuckle softly as he returned the embrace.
"How could I not protect such an adorable wife? Where else would I find someone as beautiful and charming as you?" Yuan said with a soft chuckle before gently releasing her and walking toward the edge of the wall.
"Do you think they’ll be able to defeat the Undead Dragon and the Undead King?" Nyx asked as she stood beside Yuan, her gaze fixed on the battlefield.
"Of course, they can defeat them. However, it won’t be as easy as dealing with the Headless Knights." Yuan replied calmly. "After all, both the Undead King and the Undead Dragon are far more powerful."
"I can feel their presence... and it’s definitely not ordinary." Yuan’s voice turned colder toward the end, his sharp eyes fixed on the point of impact.
Above the collision site, Lily hovered in the air like a goddess, her beauty enhanced by the moonlight shining above her, giving her an ethereal presence with that unfazed expression on her face.
Every head turned toward her the moment she became visible under the moonlight. The allied forces couldn’t ignore her presence as she stood in midair like a divine being descending from the heavens.
Something no one should be capable of in this world. And yet, before their very eyes, she stood suspended in the air, gazing down upon the battlefield.
Many forgot to continue fighting as they stared in awe, unable to comprehend how Lily could stand in the air so effortlessly.
In that moment, Lily became the center of attention on the battlefield—no one could look away after witnessing her.
"Soldiers! Brace yourselves for another collision!!" Suddenly, a voice rang through the air like thunder, snapping everyone’s attention back to the battlefield.
Everyone’s eyes widened in shock and fear as they saw another massive wave of undead charging toward them.
This time, all the undead were well-equipped with refined armor and weapons; their dark armor absorbed the moonlight, giving them a dreadful and ominous presence.
Everyone immediately became alert, raising their weapons and preparing to intercept the incoming enemy.
"Follow me! We will put an end to this!!" King Vargan roared as he transformed into a massive wolf-like creature and charged at the undead.
All the soldiers of the Werewolf Kingdom transformed as well and rushed toward the enemy with incredible speed.
Their claws were sharp, their jaws wide open, and behind them followed the soldiers of the other nations, mainly the Demonic Empire and the Vampire Kingdom.
After all, only twenty warriors from the Succubus Kingdom had joined the battle, as their population was quite limited.
However, despite their small number, each succubus warrior possessed immense strength and power, capable of fighting multiple enemies at once.
The werewolves clashed with the undead and quickly began to dominate the frontline before the other forces joined the fray.
With their combined strength, the allied forces slowly pushed the undead back, gradually reducing their numbers.
However, that didn’t mean the allied forces were free from casualties. Soldiers continued to fall every few minutes on their side as well.
Many had already lost their lives, and the deaths continued—people were falling every minute. Yet, the allied forces refused to retreat and kept pushing forward.
Suddenly, everyone noticed movement within the dense cloud of dust covering part of the battlefield.
Whoosh! In the next moment, a powerful gust of wind blew the dust away, revealing two figures standing at the center, radiating an overwhelming presence.
The ghostly figure of the Undead King appeared before everyone’s eyes—his darkened bones, with blue flames burning within his empty eye sockets.
Dark metallic armor adorned with intricate golden patterns covered his body, and a tattered cape flowed behind him in the wind.
His very presence caused a suffocating pressure to descend upon the allied forces, as if the ruler of the underworld himself stood before them.
Aside from Yuan’s group, everyone felt their hearts skip a beat the moment they saw the Undead King standing beside the Undead Dragon.
"T-That’s the Undead King...?!?!" someone exclaimed, his voice trembling with disbelief.
Everyone stared at the Undead King and the Undead Dragon with terror in their eyes, their legs trembling uncontrollably.
The sight alone made them feel as if their souls were being pulled from their bodies, as the oppressive aura of both beings filled the battlefield.
"So, that’s the King of the Undead... what a hideous appearance..." Emperor Rhex muttered in a low voice, his gaze locked onto the distant figure.
’Even from this distance, I can feel every hair on my body stand on end... that being is truly dangerous.’ he thought, goosebumps spreading across his skin.
The others experienced the same overwhelming fear as they stared at the Undead King standing on the battlefield.
Suddenly, the Undead King turned his head and looked directly at Lily, who was still hovering in the air, her cold gaze locked onto him.
ROAAARRRRR!!!
The Undead Dragon spread its tattered wings and roared at Lily, sending a powerful shockwave across the battlefield.
Many people’s ears began to bleed from the roar, and the ground trembled violently beneath them.
The massive dragon then leaped into the sky, charging straight toward Lily as blue flames flickered within its hollow eye sockets and jaws.
Seeing this, Lily let out a faint smirk and tightened her grip on her sword, her expression filled with confidence.
"Let’s see which is stronger... your flames, or my ice..."
With that, she charged straight toward the Undead Dragon and immediately unleashed her sword technique.
The Undead Dragon opened its jaws wide and released a powerful breath of fire. Blue flames surged toward Lily, lighting up the night sky in a brilliant blue glow.
"Frozen Moon Blade..." Lily grinned at the incoming attack and unleashed her technique.
The moment she activated her technique, the temperature plummeted drastically, and her ice completely overpowered the dragon’s blue flames.
The flames were swallowed instantly by Lily’s ice, leaving everyone who witnessed the scene in utter shock.
Even Anna Grace and the others couldn’t help but raise their brows in surprise—they hadn’t expected Lily to improve so much with her technique.
"I didn’t expect her to improve this fast..." Emma said softly as she punched forward, destroying several undead in the process.
"Well, it’s likely due to her special physique. Her technique aligns perfectly with her nature." Anna Grace replied while watching Lily battle the Undead Dragon.
"T-That makes sense..." Emma sighed before continuing her assault on the undead.
Then, she suddenly paused and took a deep breath before exhaling sharply, releasing a dense cloud of poisonous mist into the air.
Almost instantly, the undead began to melt under the poison, their bodies turning into a viscous substance within seconds.
Her poison was so potent that it dissolved their bones instantly, even melting their cores—the very source of their existence.
Bang! Bang! BOOOMMMM!
The sky trembled as the battle between Lily and the Undead Dragon intensified, with Lily’s attacks shattering the dragon’s bones upon impact.
The Undead Dragon was clearly being overwhelmed by Lily.
And Lily showed no signs of slowing down—her relentless assault gave the Undead Dragon no opportunity to retaliate.
