Chapter 955: Valeria’s Dominance

"Were you hurt anywhere?" Anna Grace immediately began examining Lily’s body, searching for injuries with a concerned expression on her face.

"Not at all. I’m perfectly fine," Lily replied with a soft smile before continuing, "That pile of bones was far too weak to hurt me. You don’t need to worry—I’m completely alright."

Anna Grace felt relieved after hearing this and placed a hand over her chest as she let out a soft sigh.

"That’s good to hear... but let me know immediately if you suddenly feel unwell. After all, you used quite a bit of energy to stop that dragon." she said with a gentle smile, her voice filled with motherly concern.

She then turned her gaze toward the Undead King, and her eyes instantly grew cold the moment she looked at the grotesque creature.

The air surrounding him carried a rotten stench, while the ominous aura radiating from his body made the atmosphere feel heavy and dreadful.

Anna Grace was slightly surprised by the appearance of the Undead King. It looked as though his bones had undergone some kind of mutation, turning pitch black.

Furthermore, strange deformations covered his body, with sharp spikes protruding from his bones, while his skull itself was lined with the same terrifying spikes.

What caught her attention the most was the dark crown resting atop the Undead King’s head—it emitted an extremely ominous energy that felt both heavy and powerful.

’So, this is the King of the Undead... the true mastermind behind this entire war... He is completely different from the rest of the undead here.’ Anna Grace thought, her eyes narrowing sharply.

Most undead possessed the ordinary appearance of skeletons. However, some seemed to have mutated or evolved into higher forms.

But the Undead King... he was entirely different. Whether it was his appearance or the overwhelming aura surrounding him, he existed on a completely different level compared to the other undead, including the Undead Dragon.

’I need to be careful dealing with him... his strength is comparable to a peak Grandmaster Realm expert... he’s dangerous.’ Anna Grace thought as her expression became serious.

The Undead King stared at Anna Grace in complete silence, the flames within his eyes burning brighter as the atmosphere around him grew increasingly hotter.

"You have completely destroyed years of my effort and planning... For that, I will make all of you pay with your miserable lives!"

Suddenly, the Undead King spoke, his cold and emotionless voice echoing across the entire battlefield.

A violent burst of aura erupted from his body, causing the very air around him to tremble while the sky darkened once again.

Dark clouds immediately covered the moonlight, plunging the battlefield back into darkness.

All eyes turned toward the Undead King; his presence was impossible to ignore, and his aura only continued to intensify.

Many people nearly collapsed the moment they sensed the Undead King’s power, their vision blurring while their legs weakened uncontrollably.

"You’re quite bold for someone who is about to suffer the same fate as that ugly lizard."

Suddenly, Anna Grace’s cold and emotionless voice echoed from several meters above the battlefield, her eyes flashing briefly.

"Oh? You believe you can kill me?" The Undead King looked at her before suddenly bursting into laughter. "I am an immortal being... no one can kill me."

"Do not make the mistake of underestimating me... I am far stronger than that useless pet of mine. After all, that was only one dragon—I possess many more like it." The Undead King declared arrogantly as he raised both arms into the air.

And the moment he said those words, everyone could sense multiple terrifying presences rapidly approaching the battlefield at horrifying speed.

And just a moment later, hundreds of undead dragons appeared in the sky, their massive frames and terrifying presence making the air across the battlefield feel unbearably heavy.

"Now witness how my undead dragons destroy everything... Hahahaha!!" The Undead King’s sinister laughter echoed throughout the battlefield.

Hundreds of undead dragons surrounded the battlefield from every direction, leaving no possible path of escape.

The allied forces—including the kings and the Emperor—felt utterly hopeless in the face of such a situation. They couldn’t even imagine fighting a single dragon, much less hundreds of them.

"T-There is nothing we can do against something like this..." King Evander muttered in a low, trembling voice, his legs shaking in fear.

"It seems we underestimated the Undead King yet again... is this truly how we are going to die?" Queen Lilith muttered weakly as she stumbled backward.

Her face darkened at the horrifying sight before her; the undead dragons hovered above the battlefield, their bodies engulfed in blue flames.

The scene made her heart skip a beat as a deep sense of helplessness filled her entire body.

And she wasn’t the only one—everyone else felt the same, as though they were nothing more than puppets dancing within the Undead King’s palm since the beginning of the battle.

The terrifying roars of the undead dragons echoed through the air, causing the battlefield itself to tremble as the temperature rapidly increased.

However, despite the overwhelming presence of so many undead dragons, Anna Grace and the others didn’t show even the slightest trace of concern.

One by one, Mireya, Valeria, Vrasha, Julie, Ava, Rose, Emma, and Sylvia gathered around Anna Grace. Meanwhile, Nerith and Isolde remained seated inside the formation, still meditating.

Once everyone had gathered, Anna Grace turned toward Valeria and spoke in a cold, emotionless voice.

"Erase those ugly lizards from the sky."

"Gladly." Valeria immediately responded with a wide grin as she firmly gripped her massive sword.

"Everyone else, protect the allied forces from the dragons’ attacks. They can’t defend themselves against monsters of this level."

Then, turning toward the Undead King, Anna Grace revealed a faint grin and said, "I’ll personally deal with this unsightly creature... there’s no need for the rest of you to get involved."

"Understood." Everyone nodded before immediately moving to defend the allied forces from the attacks of the undead dragons.

Valeria instantly crossed the massive distance separating her from the dragons, her incomplete Sword Aura coating the entirety of her blade.

Slash! Her sword effortlessly cut through the dragons’ thick bones and shattered their cores in an instant. With the power of her incomplete Sword Aura, she split the dragons cleanly in half.

One after another, she slaughtered the undead dragons and destroyed their cores, killing them almost instantly.

The dragons retaliated with blue flames and razor-sharp claws. However, none of it proved effective against Valeria’s Sword Aura.

She sliced through their flames and severed their claws with single swings of her sword, while explosions illuminated the sky each time a dragon’s core was destroyed.

The allied forces watched this unbelievable spectacle with their eyes wide open, completely stunned.

Many could hardly believe what they were seeing; some even rubbed their eyes repeatedly while staring blankly at the sky.

Hearing the endless explosions echoing above them, Isolde and Nerith slowly opened their eyes and looked toward the sky curiously.

But the moment they saw what was happening, they froze in shock, their expressions filled with complete disbelief.

"W-What in the world is happening here...???"

"When did so many Undead Dragons appear?!?!"

Their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as they witnessed the impossible scene unfolding before them.

Yet what shocked them the most wasn’t the overwhelming number of undead dragons—it was Valeria herself.

She moved through the sky like a shooting star, flashing from one direction to another at terrifying speed, and every movement she made triggered massive explosions that shook the entire battlefield.

"T-This is impossible... How can a single woman slaughter my pets so easily?!?!" The Undead King began to panic as he watched his undead dragons being massacred one after another.

Valeria looked like a true Goddess of War, dancing across the sky with her sword in hand while slaughtering the undead dragons effortlessly, without breaking even the slightest sweat.

The Undead King staggered backward in shock and fear, genuine concern for his own safety beginning to rise within him.

’Why did they have to appear and ruin my grand plan? Why?!’ he screamed inwardly, his mind consumed by confusion and frustration.

"No... I can’t allow my plan to be destroyed so easily... I have to deal with that woman first..." The Undead King immediately summoned another undead dragon.

However, just as he was about to step onto the dragon’s back, a soft voice suddenly echoed from behind him.

"Do you really think I’ll let you go after my daughter-in-law?"

Before he could even turn around, a sword sliced the undead dragon cleanly in half, sending the Undead King flying as the dragon’s core erupted into a massive explosion.

The Undead King was blasted several meters across the battlefield, but he immediately rose back to his feet completely unharmed.

’What was that attack just now?! I didn’t even sense it before it struck my pet!!’ he screamed inwardly, utterly shocked by Anna Grace’s deadly sword strike.

That attack could have easily destroyed his body if the Undead Dragon hadn’t taken the hit for him—he had come terrifyingly close to death.

Even though he possessed immortality, he clearly understood one thing: the moment his core was destroyed, his existence would truly come to an end.

"Are you spacing out in the middle of a battle like this?"

Suddenly, Anna Grace’s voice echoed from behind him like a ghost, sending a chill down his spine as his body instantly tensed.

He immediately twisted his body to evade the incoming strike from behind, barely managing to dodge in time.

Slash! The sword sliced through the air, narrowly missing the Undead King’s body.

However, the tip of the blade still managed to carve a deep scratch across his skull.

’That was close... I barely avoided that attack!’ The Undead King immediately created distance between them, clearly shaken by the near-death experience.

"Oh? You managed to dodge that? Not bad for a pile of bones... but will you be able to dodge what comes next?" A sadistic grin appeared on Anna Grace’s face as she stared at the Undead King like a predator observing its prey.

’Damn it! She’s clearly toying with me...!!’ The Undead King cursed inwardly while clenching his fists, overwhelmed by frustration and helplessness.
