My Co-renting Lady Boss
Chapter 1770 - 1769: Surviving on a Deserted Island
"Splash!"
Just at the critical moment, under the effect of an invisible force, Li Xiaoli’s body swiftly flew backward, carving through the sea, and then... started floating above the water.
"No way?"
Tang Ming stared wide-eyed, looking utterly miserable.
"Kid, you’re recovering pretty fast, huh!"
Li Xiaoli, with crimson eyes, stood on the sea, coldly looking at Tang Ming.
"I... elder, why are you out again?"
Tang Ming looked at Li Xiaoli with a miserable face, knowing that the great master had shown up again.
"Since you have so much energy, let’s continue sparring."
Li Xiaoli waved her hands, and two columns of water lifted Tang Ming into the air.
At the same time, Tang Ming felt the seal on his body temporarily lift again, hurriedly channeling his Gang Qi, and was forced into battle with Li Xiaoli.
Mu Zixin, who was sleeping soundly, was awakened by a series of crashes, got up groggily, and saw giant waves on the sea, with water columns continuously rising.
"A typhoon is coming!"
Mu Zixin’s face changed dramatically, instantly waking up, but upon closer inspection, the scorching sun was hanging high in the sky.
"What’s going on? A typhoon on a clear day... what’s that?"
Realizing what was happening, Mu Zixin quickly looked closely, and saw two figures intertwining, causing the sea to churn continuously.
"Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli are fighting?"
Mu Zixin blinked in disbelief, rubbing her eyes: "I can’t be dreaming, can I? I know Tang Ming is powerful, but when did Li Xiaoli become so strong?"
After confirming she wasn’t dreaming, Mu Zixin hurried to the shore, shouting loudly in a bid to stop Li Xiaoli and Tang Ming’s fight, but to no avail.
Standing on the shore watching this ’earth-shattering’ battle, Mu Zixin started to realize what might have happened last night?
It seems Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli didn’t have any relations, but a fight, which explains the injuries on Tang Ming’s body.
Mu Zixin paced anxiously along the shore with no solution, as this divine battle was something mere mortals couldn’t intervene in!
After some indeterminate time, the wind and waves calmed down, and Li Xiaoli and Tang Ming lay in the water, motionless.
"Did they pass out again?"
Mu Zixin gulped and rushed into the water, using the waves to help drag Tang Ming and Li Xiaoli onto the shore.
"You two idiots keep fighting, and every time I have to haul you out, this is already the second time."
Pulling the two onto the shore, Mu Zixin glared at the two motionless guys, steaming with anger.
Last night she had dragged the two from the woods, and today she dragged them out of the sea, feeling like she was becoming a babysitter.
Gazing at the unconscious pair, Mu Zixin became increasingly infuriated, then her eyes fell on Tang Ming.
"Bastard, making me work so hard, I must get some compensation."
Mu Zixin gulped, immediately pulling down Tang Ming’s shorts, then...
"Wow, the seawater is a bit salty!"
Mu Zixin grimaced while getting busy on top of Tang Ming, repeatedly until Tang Ming stopped responding at last.
"I’m exhausted, so hot!"
Sweating all over, Mu Zixin lay beside Tang Ming, panting heavily with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Oh my."
Just then, Tang Ming groggily sat up.
"Ah!"
Mu Zixin jumped, screaming in surprise.
"Scared me to death, I... where are my shorts?"
Tang Ming rubbed his head, finding himself stark naked, immediately looking at Mu Zixin with suspicion: "What did you do to me?"
"Nothing! I just pulled you two ashore, you were already like this, how would I know."
Mu Zixin shook her head quickly.
"You... this is awkward!"
Tang Ming hurriedly got up to find his shorts.
"Ah, my head is killing me, what happened?"
Li Xiaoli also woke up groggily.
"I want to ask you, how did you start fighting for no reason?"
Mu Zixin lay on the ground, complaining in exasperation.
"Fighting? Did I fall ill again?"
Li Xiaoli looked in confusion at Tang Ming, realizing he was even more injured: "Sorry, I don’t know what happened either, sorry."
"It’s fine, just try to control it in the future."
Tang Ming smiled bitterly, understanding that transformed Li Xiaoli wanted to enhance her combat power, thus started the fight; luckily, last night’s tussle was light, and today’s was not intense, so they woke up quickly.
"What’s the deal with this, why does it always transform?"
Li Xiaoli rubbed her head in frustration, wondering if she couldn’t have fun with others?
"Let’s not dwell on it, think about what to eat later?"
After putting on his shorts, Tang Ming sighed wearily.
"Yeah, I’m hungry, so tired."
Mu Zixin groaned listlessly.
"Hey, how did ming brother and I fight, why are you so tired, and why is your face so red?"
Li Xiaoli suspiciously stared at Mu Zixin.
"I was busy getting you both up, it was tiring too."
Mu Zixin responded with a guilty conscience, then fell silent, hoping no one would discover it.
"This woman..."
Tang Ming looked at Mu Zixin speechlessly, clearly knowing his body’s condition, surely someone had taken advantage again.
"Ming brother, I’m hungry too."
Li Xiaoli looked at Tang Ming pitifully.
"Alright then, I’ll get us some food from the sea."
Tang Ming nodded, then made a fishing spear out of a stick, and went diving to catch fish.
In less-trafficked sea areas, fish are usually abundant, nearly primitive, and purely natural, pollution-free. While not sure about tastiness, they are certainly healthy.
Afterwards, Tang Ming returned to the makeshift tent and sat with Li Xiaoli and Mu Zixin.
"At night, find a few empty water bottles nearby; during the day, we’re usually at the beach, far from the lake, can’t go back every time we’re thirsty."
Tang Ming instructed with a smile.
White trash is a great human invention; if there’s an island, you can definitely find some, even the ocean submits to this indestructible garbage.
What to do next?
Watch the sea, chat, and sunbathe.
Tang Ming originally wanted to get cozy with Li Xiaoli, but Mu Zixin was right there, and the tent was small, barely enough for the three to lie in a row avoiding the sun, none willing to expose themselves to its blazing rays.
Even so, the salty sea breeze still made the three feel sweltering.
"Isn’t it boring?"
Tang Ming leaned on a rock, asking.
"It’s alright, slept enough, don’t want to sleep again, should we play a game?"
Li Xiaoli shouted out of boredom.
